Asura's mother said, "There is a god on the Great Fragrant Mountain, whose name is Gandharva, and this god has a daughter, who is beautiful and beautiful, like a flower like jade, and her complexion is whiter than white jade, and the pores of her body make beautiful music. I want to marry her for you, I wonder if I can fulfill your wishes?"

When the asura heard this, he was very happy and said to his mother, "That is very good, and I hope that my mother will go and ask for her marriage soon." ”

Although they are still the guardian saints of the Heavenly Dragon Babu, as time goes by, the Asura clan has also changed to a new Asura king, and he is the "Bo Xun" .....!

Yang Zhuochao asked: I always hear others mention this "Eight Divisions of the Heavenly Dragon", but what are the eight divisions, can Lord Impermanence teach me?

Bai Wuchang Xie Bi'an said: Tianlong Babu is actually very simple, I will talk about the interpretation of Babu now. These eight divisions are, in order, "Heaven", "Dragon", "Yaksha", "Gandharva", "Asura", "Garuda", "Kinara", and "Mahoraja".

"Heaven" usually says that there are 28 days in the Three Realms, but the Heaven mentioned here mainly refers to the earthly heavens in the realm of desire, including the four heavenly kings and the heavenly beings of the Celestial Heavens. If there are sentient beings in the world who should be able to attain it with a heavenly body, then Avalokiteshvara, that is, the heavenly body, is its saying.

The Lengyan Sutra says: "If there are heavens, happy to be happy, I will appear in the heavens, and for the sake of the Dharma, so that it will be accomplished", this is the meaning. In the six astronomical circles of the former Nengying, although there should be six different kinds of heavenly bodies, they are said to be about a few days, and now they are always said to be heavens, so they are different from the past.

"Dragon" has always been one of the four spirits, that is, supernatural things, which can be good at change. According to Buddhism, there are all kinds of dragons! There are heavenly dragons who guard the heavenly palace, there are sea dragons who guard the dragon palace, there are hidden dragons who guard treasures, and there are rain dragons that can cause rain.

No matter what kind of dragon it is, no one has ever seen it! But in ancient times, there were legends of dragons everywhere, so we can't deny that there were dragons. Although the dragon's good fortune is great, its karma is also very deep, and it is not possible to enjoy its good fortune safely.

According to Buddhist legends, the Dapeng goldfinch bird likes to eat dragons the most, because the dragon body is very long, they eat it, just like the world eats noodles, so dragon beings, often suffer from the threat of life, that is, the most afraid of the Dapeng goldfinch bird.

Once, when the Buddha was meditating by the sea, the dragon encountered the threat of the goldfinch and came to the Buddha to ask for help, hoping to relieve the goldfinch from its difficulty of grabbing food. The Buddha had mercy and gave some of the robes he had worn to the dragon king, asking him to tear them into pieces.

Draped on the body of the dragon grandson, it can avoid the difficulty of catching and eating the golden-winged bird, because the golden-winged bird sees the Buddha's robe, it does not dare to eat the dragon again, and protects the life safety of the dragons, which can also see the power of the robe!

If there is a class of sentient beings in the world who should be able to attain it with the body of a dragon, then Avalokiteshvara will appear in the body of a dragon! Go to the Dragon Palace to speak for the dragons and ask them to give up their hatred. Or say: The Dragon Palace is in the bottom of the sea, how can you go to the Dragon Palace to say the truth?

This is not impossible, such as the existing Buddha said the Ten Good Karma Sutras, which the Buddha said for the Dragon King in the Dragon Palace. In this way, of course, the Bodhisattva can also manifest the dragon body to the Dragon Palace to speak for the dragon.

"Yakshas," also known as swift ghosts, also known as violent ghosts, are good and evil! It is the evil Yaksha who loves to eat people, and it is the good Yaksha who supports the Dharma. For example, when a bhikshu or a bhikshuni ascends the altar and receives ordination, they begin to perform the four white karmas.

When the Yaksha got the news, he happily relayed it to the Four Heavenly Kings!

If there is a class of sentient beings in the world who should transform into a Yaksha body in order to attain liberation, then Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is compassionate and compassionate, that is, the Yaksha body is the Dharma. As the well-known face of the monk, it is the appearance of Guanyin Bodhisattva.

"Qianmin Po", also known as the god of seeking incense, smelling incense, eating incense, and incense. It is the god of music in front of the throne of the Emperor of Theri. Since Shakti loved the Five Desires, of course he also liked to listen to music!

Whenever the emperor wants to listen to music, there is no need to send a celestial person to find the god of music, but only to burn a stick of incense in front of him.

This music god often lives in the Vajra Cave on the south side of Mount Meru and is able to fly into the void. If there is a class of sentient beings in the world who should be transformed into a person in the body of a Gandharva, and then they can attain liberation, then Avalokiteshvara Bodhisattva is compassionate and compassionate, that is, the body of the Gandharva is the Dharma.

The Lengyan Sutra says: "If the Qiansha is happy, I am in front of him, and I am now the Qianyan woman's body, and for the sake of the Dharma, so that it can be achieved", which is also the meaning.

"Asura", there are three interpretations. 1. Non-heaven, which means that Shura has the blessing of heaven and man, but has no virtue of heaven and man. 2. Unreasonable, according to the scriptures, the asura woman is very beautiful and dignified, but the asura man is extremely ugly and does not have the slightest uprightness.

3. No alcohol, legend has it that in the past, Asura was very fond of drinking, but there was a time when he couldn't find wine and had no alcohol to drink, so he simply quit drinking, so it was said that there was no alcohol.

The greatest trait of an asura is that he is very suspicious and does not trust others no matter what he does. Because of the suspicion, the fighting power is also strong, and the competitive spirit is much more than others. Shura likes to fight against the emperor the most, but there are reasons for it, which can be explained here as follows:

Legend has it that the king of Asura had a daughter named Sheri, who was indeed very beautiful, and it can be said that there are few beautiful women like this in the world. Later, it was known to the Emperor Shakti, who lived in heaven and did not break the love of men and women, so he married an asura woman, and had a son-in-law relationship with the king of Asura, and the relationship between them was also very good.

Soon after the marriage of Emperor Shakti and Shefat, in order to show his respect for his father-in-law, Emperor Shakti specially invited the Asura King to visit and stay in the heavenly palace, of course, with great courtesy. When the Asura was about to return after he was happy, the emperor sent him off as a solemn farewell.

The honor guard of the special heavenly soldiers and generals lined up on both sides to send him off like a ceremony, but he didn't know that Asura not only did not receive the hospitality of his son-in-law, but suspected that Emperor Shi intended to demonstrate in front of him and intimidate him, and he felt the boss's displeasure in his heart!

Although the emperor is the god of the heavens, he often comes to the world to listen to the teachings, and if a Buddha is born, he comes to the world to listen to the Buddha's teachings, and if no Buddha is born, he comes to the world to listen to the teachings of the immortals.

Once, Emperor Sha wanted to come to the world to listen to the immortals, his wife Asura Nu Shefat, suspected that her husband was having an affair in the world, and actually negotiated with Emperor Shakti, Emperor Sha told the actual situation, Asura Nu Shefat, no matter how she didn't believe it, she wanted to come to the world with Emperor Sha to reconnoitre,

Emperor Shakti felt that he was a woman, and it was not appropriate to come to the world to stop him, so Shefu became even more suspicious, and had to come down with him! When Emperor Shakti got on the treasure chariot and was about to come to the world, the Asura woman used her magic to hide behind the treasure chariot and hide invisibly.

Arrived at the world, the emperor got out of the car, and the fat also got out of the car, and the emperor saw it, in addition to blaming her for a few words, and hit her a few times with the flower stem, causing the fat to be coquettish, and the trouble was until the emperor was guilty. But in this way, the immortal lost his supernatural powers because he heard her delicate voice.

After that, Shezhi will cry to his father about the situation, and when the Asura King heard this, he couldn't help but be angry, and he protested to me a few days ago, and now he is bullying my daughter, which is unbearable!

So he mobilized countless Asura generals to declare war on the Emperor Shakti and directly attack the Heavenly Palace. Because Shura has a small supernatural power, he actually stepped on the bottom of the sea and shook the heavenly palace with his hands, causing the emperor to flee in defeat!

And after this war, the emperor and Shura often fought wars, although there were victories and defeats for each other, but there were many times when the emperor lost, so he often felt distressed!

When the Buddha was born, the Buddha asked the Buddha for help, and the Buddha told him that if he wanted to win, he had to recite "Mahaprajnaparamita" when fighting against Shura!

The characteristics of an asura are that they are suspicious and hateful, so if a person who is a human being in the world is suspicious, angry, and competitive in everything, he will love face, and he will fall into the asura path after death.

When the asura was in the human world, he also did a lot of good karma, such as charity, and other merits, and he often did it, but because he was competitive, he planted the asura cause. If there are sentient beings who need to be able to attain the assura body, Avalokiteshvara will appear as an asura and make them give up their doubts and hatred and be liberated physically and mentally.

The Lengyan Sutra says, "If an asura is happy to get rid of it, I am in front of him, and I am in the body of an asura, and for the sake of the Dharma, I will make it come true", which is also the meaning.
