Volume 2 Plane Battles Chapter 189 Speculation about Western Buddhism

Yang Zhuochao asked: Since the Asura clan is one of the eight heavenly dragons, is there any contradiction between them and other tribes? Or since they are already guardian gods, the meaning and duty of their existence is to defend the majesty of Western Buddhism!

Then they started a war with the "Twenty Heavens" Emperor Shakti in the thirty-three days on Mount Meru, who is also a Buddhist force, will the bigwigs of Western Buddhism sit idly by?

Xie Bi'an replied: The first question of the immortals can be answered below. In fact, although the Asura clan is the protector of Buddhism and is among the Eight Celestial Dragons, as far as I know, they have no contact with other tribes!

To put it mildly, they still have a hostile relationship with each other! However, due to the Buddha's interference, on the surface, everyone is indeed amicable. As for the real situation behind it, it is not good for us as outsiders to speculate!

Just like the other eight tribes that I will introduce to the immortals next, there are such examples. Allow me to explain the rest clearly, and then I will answer the second question of the immortals.

So Xie Bi'an began the rest of the introduction: "Garuda", called the wonderful winged bird, or translated as the golden-winged bird, also known as the Dapeng golden-winged bird, lives among the big iron trees in the north of Mount Meru.

According to the Buddhist scriptures, the distance between the wings of this bird is 3.6 million miles. When it wants to eat the dragon, it uses its big wings to separate the water with a pluck of the sea.

When you see the bottom of the sea and see the Dragon Palace, you catch the dragon and eat it, and eat the dragon like a person eating noodles. As mentioned earlier, the Buddha saved the dragon with a robe, so that the golden-winged bird could not eat and drink, so he came to the Buddha and said: You are merciful to save the dragon, the dragon is saved, but I am hungry, I have nothing to eat, and I am about to starve to death.

The Buddha said to him, "If you take refuge in the Three Jewels and take the vow of non-killing, and you will no longer eat dragons in the future, I, a disciple of the Buddha today, will be born with seven grains of rice or porridge when I offer food to the Buddha, so that you can give to you and the ghosts and gods of the wilderness and the children and mothers of the rakshasas, so that you will have a life of life and no longer feel the pain of hunger!"

Therefore, the birth of Buddhism has its own significance, and it is not a fictional story. At the time of birth, the birth verse should be recited: "Dapeng golden-winged bird, ghosts and gods in the wilderness, Rakshasa devils and mothers, manna is full", do not be hasty!

There is a wishful jewel on the head of Garuda, if anyone gets it, he can really have whatever he wants, Garuda sometimes spits out flames from his mouth, so it is also called Garuda Yan.

The Roc Goldfinch eats one dragon and five hundred baby dragons every day. At the end of its life, the dragons vomited poison and could no longer eat it, so they flew up and down seven times and flew to the top of the Vajra Wheel Mountain to die. Because it feeds on dragons all its life, it has a lot of poisonous gas in its body, and when it is dying, it burns itself with poison.

If there are sentient beings in the world who need to be liberated by the Garuda body, Avalokiteshvara, who is now in the Garuda body, preaches the Dharma of benevolence and love for things, so that they can act according to it and attain physical and mental liberation.

"Kinara", called a suspicious person, or a suspicious god, this kind of being has a firstborn corner, and it seems that it makes people wonder whether they are human or non-human, so it is translated. It is also the music god of Shakti, and unlike the former Gandharva music god, what Gandharva plays is ordinary secular music!

It can also be said that the former is playing the music of the world, and the latter is playing the music of the world.

If sentient beings need the Kinnara body to attain liberation, Avalokiteshvara, who appears in the Kinnara body, preaches the Dharma for them, so that they can practice according to the law, and then they will be liberated physically and mentally, and they will be freed from the ghost life of Kinnara.

"Mahoroga", known as the great python god, or the earth dragon, is said to be the appearance of a humanoid snake head. If sentient beings need to be in the body of Maharaja in order to attain liberation, Avalokiteshvara, who is in the body of Maharaja, preaches to them the Dharma of forbearance and humiliation, cultivation of compassion, and gentleness and wisdom, so that they can practice according to the law and attain physical and mental liberation!

"People are not equal to human beings", this is the summary of the above eight parts. The so-called human beings are not human beings: Some people say that they resemble human beings but not human beings, and they are called human beings and non-human beings! Some say that the eight ghosts and gods were not human beings, but they changed into human forms and came to the Buddha, and they were called human beings and non-human beings!

It is said that human refers to the people of the four continents of human beings, and non-human refers to the eight ghosts. Although there are many different statements, I think the first one is more reasonable!

Guanyin Bodhisattva is compassionate and compassionate, in order to save the heavenly dragon and other eight sentient beings, it is to adapt to their respective senses, and should be based on what body incarnation, that is, what body is present, so it is said that "all appear and are said"!

Bai Wuchang Xie Bi'an finally said: The above is the structure of the entire "Heavenly Dragon Eight Divisions", and then we will return to the topic, or talk about the new generation of Asura Kings, the Great Demon King called "Bo Xun".

Before I talk about this "wave of time", I would like to answer the second question that Shangxian just asked. It is said that the Buddha attained nirvana at the age of eighty. On the occasion of Nirvana, all sentient beings wept and wept in sorrow, and all the Shravaka, the four Bodhisattvas, and the eight heavenly dragons and non-human beings came to gather.

The Buddha enlightened the masses with great compassion that the Buddha-nature is always true and unchanging, and that there is always happiness and self-purity. He also taught that all sentient beings have Buddha nature, expounded that all living beings should attain great enlightenment, and explained all the bodhisattva teachings related to nirvana. In response to the four questions posed by Ananda, the disciples were instructed.

After the Buddha is destroyed, he should take the precepts as his teacher, settle down with the four thoughts, subdue the wicked with silence, and set up "as I hear" at the head of all the sutras to make people believe. Tell the disciples, uphold the pure precepts, always be single-minded, diligently seek to debut, and always be kind in body, always in mouth, and always in mind.

The general meaning of the above passage has actually been revealed. The Buddha has already "gone into extinction" and has been reborn as "Nirvana" like the "Phoenix" clan of the immortals! But as for where the Buddha was after Nirvana, no one knows.....

Yang Zhuochao was obviously stunned after hearing this, and he asked suspiciously: No one knows .....! Isn't that possible, no matter what you say? Do you mean that without the leadership and command of the Buddha, the entire Western Buddhism would already be too busy to take care of itself! It is even more impossible for it to interfere in other affairs?

Bai Wuchang Xie Bi'an smiled slightly and said: I didn't say that! This is Shangxian's own understanding and speculation. If I had to answer, I would have to shake my head helplessly! Because I really don't know these things, and it would be blasphemous to speculate!

Yang Zhuochao thought to himself: You are not kind, you are completely an old Jianghu tone and tone! You can really be described as "old and cunning"..... No wonder people often say: "People are old spirits, ghosts are old spirits".

Thinking of this, Yang Zhuochao had no choice but to say: Then Lord Impermanence, you should continue to say "Bo Xun", it's a big deal, I'll ask Jizo Bodhisattva if I have the chance!
