0402 Installation

Xu Yi took all the frames in order, installed the four sides separately, and officially assembled them, and the small holes drilled before came in handy. Xu Yi carefully inspected and adjusted the tenon and tenon joints again, so that the top and bottom of those holes were through, which also ensured that all the frames were completely straight.

To make sure that there were no errors and omissions on each edge and abnormal situations such as transactions, Xu Yi took the pre-processed wooden strips and used an axe to chop out the front end, and insert a sharp end into those small holes.

In order to ensure that the connection is tighter after reinforcement, the wooden strips processed by Xu Yi are slightly thicker than those round holes, so that when they are nailed into the holes, these mortise and tenon joints can be firmly fixed, even if there is no glue.

Xu Yi was particularly careful when nailing it, so as to avoid using too much force to lead the mortise and tenon joint under the zhì to crack in the direction. After nailing all the wooden strips into it, Xu Yi took a saw and planer to clean the wooden strips outside the hole, and a few frames were completed.

However, this side of the frame cannot be assembled at once, otherwise the sleepers and pine squares that are all connected by mortise and tenon joints will not be able to be assembled into it.

Xu Yi carried the two sides and placed them on the ground, so that their bottom side was facing up, and then took the sleepers and placed them according to their respective positions, and then adjusted the positions of the two sides, so that the tenons at both ends of the sleepers could just be placed on the corresponding dovetail grooves on the sides.

After all the sleepers were installed, Xu Yi took a piece of wood and put it on top of the dovetails, and used a hammer to knock them all into the dovetail groove. When the mortise and tenon joints were all tightly combined, Xu Yi took the ruler and put it on the sleeper against the frame to check the flatness between them. After all, if the sleeper is not installed flat, the board is likely to be nailed unsecurely, and eventually it may affect the installation of the band saw, or the service life of the horizon. So Xu Yi would rather be in trouble. These problems should also be avoided.

Which sleeper was found to be uneven during the inspection. Xu Yi knocked it down again and trimmed it accordingly according to the situation. If the sleeper is super high, trim the tenon or mortise accordingly, if it is short, brush the bottom of the dovetail groove with some glue, and then pick a thin thickness of suitable shavings to stick it in the dovetail groove.

After several adjustments, Xu Yi made sure that the two ends of all the sleepers were completely attached to the side of the ruler, and there was no obvious height difference, so he removed all the sleepers again and prepared to install those cross braces made of pine.

These horizontal braces are mounted on the sleepers by short tenons on the upper and lower sides, and they are not very stable.

It is no exaggeration to say. Such a structure itself has great flaws, and relying on the mortise and tenon joint itself is not suitable to withstand pressure from all sides.

However, Xu Yi only thought about using them to support the wooden planks on it, and considering that the boards had to be nailed on both sides of the wood. These plates will also fix these cross braces well while nailing them, and they can also conduct the force evenly in all directions, so there is no need to make stronger mortise and tenon joints.

Although this structure makes the pine wood appear less strong for the time being, it can meet the problem of avoiding over-processing and reducing the strength of the oak wood, and can also effectively reduce the difficulty of processing.

Xu Yi put the sleeper on the side and placed it on the corresponding groove nearby, took the corresponding cross brace and stuck it on the first sleeper, and then used the groove on the second sleeper to stick it on the tenon at the other end of the wooden square. Do this repeatedly. It didn't take long for Xu Yi to clamp these horizontal braces and sleepers in groups between the sleepers, forming a large chessboard-like square grid on the ground.

The grooves and cross braces on these sleepers are all machined. The accuracy itself is higher than that of manual processing, and the processing time is also repeatedly measured and trimmed, so the installation is much easier than sleepers.

During Xu Yi's assembly process, he only found that a few horizontal braces were not in place, and a simple repair was over, but he didn't encounter any other big trouble.

After trimming them again so that these cross braces were also completely flush with the sleepers, Xu Yi carefully moved the frame so that the dovetail tenon of the sleepers on top of it just corresponded to the dovetail groove, and then knocked them all into the dovetail groove again.

After checking and confirming that all the mortise and tenon joints are tightly bonded and the height of the sleepers is the same, Xu Yi is ready to install the two plugs of the frame on the side, ready to build the skeleton of the horizon.

However, when Xu Yi just picked up a plug and wanted to install the horizontal braces between the adjacent sleepers, he suddenly realized that some things were still neglected by himself!

Originally, Xu Yi planned that the planks on the bottom side were nailed in the direction of the vertical sleepers, and the fixation of the middle position was naturally responsible for those sleepers, but in the direction of the two plugs, Xu Yi forgot to install the corresponding parts.

If these boards are not supported by something, they will definitely have to hang there, which will undoubtedly destroy the strength of the bottom surface.

Xu Yi sighed, fortunately he found it in time, if it was a little later, if he didn't find out this problem until he assembled the frame, it would be really troublesome.

Xu Yi then moved the two sides to the top of the table saw, and processed a piece two centimeters deep and five centimeters wide on the bottom surface near the inside.

After checking again to make sure that there were no omissions, Xu Yi put the wooden squares of the two plugs on it, so that the entire skeleton was truly assembled. As long as the four corners are fixed with wooden strips, and then the board is nailed to the upward side and turned over, it can be placed in the right place.

However, Xu Yi stood here and looked at it for a while, then sighed, and in reverse order, he dismantled the skeleton little by little.

This can only be thought of.

Whether it is inside the space or outside, if there is another better way, Xu Yi will not choose to use this thing as a foundation.

This method is feasible in the outside world, but the reliability and cost performance are not very high, so it is impossible for Xu Yi to choose to use wood to process the foundation. Wood is not as stable in the outside world as it is in the space, not only is it likely to be deformed by moisture, but it is more likely to be damaged by insects and rats, and even rot and mildew, and the strength is not as strong as the foundation made of cement mortar.

What's more, using so much wood to make the foundation, and the money to buy so much wood, is at least enough to lay two or three cement foundations of such a large area.

However, there is no feasibility in the space, and there is no way to buy cement sand and gravel, and even if you find the way, you can't find a suitable place for stacking materials. It is not suitable whether it is along the river or in the village, and it is not the same thing even if it is pulled to the warehouse in the market.

Moreover, even if the price is cheap, it will cost 10,000 yuan to be enough, and it is better to save money than the method of benefiting for life with this investment.

Just assembling this thing once and then moving it over is far beyond Xu Yi's ability.

There is only Xu Yi in the space, and at most it is some simple facilities and equipment, and all ideas have to be based on the existing ones.

The total area of the assembled skeleton reaches more than 70 square meters, and its weight is almost 1,000 catties. Even if this is such a heavy stone, it is difficult enough to turn it over, not to mention that this is still a shelf made of wood with an area of dozens of square meters.

This shelf alone is difficult enough, let alone nailed to another layer of board.

Although a layer of board is only three centimeters, it doesn't look like much, but it can't hold a large area. It really nails a layer of board, which requires more than two meters of wood, and undoubtedly makes the total weight almost three thousand catties smaller.

Such a heavy thing really depends on Xu Yi himself, but I am afraid that it will be difficult to lift it up if I use all the strength to eat milk.

Not to mention that not only did he have to turn it over, but he also had to move it to the installation site, which was an impossible task.

Xu Yi didn't dare to guarantee that he would be able to turn it over and let it fall steadily.

Xu Yi walked to the installation site and drew a line about two meters between the wooden stacks, which was the baseline of the horizontal assembly.

After drawing the line, Xu Yi took some boards and laid them on the inside of the line against the line. The boards were simply fixed on the ground with nails, and then Xu Yi used shovels and pickaxes to dig out deep pits half a meter square and one meter deep along the outside of the boards at intervals along the outside of the boards.

After these pits were dug up, Xu Yi took a shovel and carefully trimmed the pit wall against the plank, and then moved the unused wooden squares and put one in each pit.

Xu Yi placed the wooden cube in the pit in place, so that one side of it was close to the pit wall on the side of the board, and then made sure that it stood upright in the pit, and then filled the pit with some soil.

It didn't take long for the soil in the pit to grow up little by little. The place where Xu Yi dug the pit itself was the soil that had been tamped before, so it was unusually hard, and after a while, the wooden square was firmly fixed in the ground.

Seeing that the soil in the pit grew more than a foot high, enough to fix the wooden square, Xu Yi went to the pit next to him to operate the same, and soon fixed the remaining wooden squares on the ground.

After the last wooden square was fixed, Xu Yi went back to inspect it again, and found that the first wooden square had grown firmly in the ground as if it had taken root.

Xu Yi nodded and walked towards the two boxes of Yi bees.

Of course, he didn't want to inspect the beehive, he took the tool and carefully dismantled the steel pipe rack around the beehive, and then moved all the pipe clamps and other things that were needed to be used to the edge of a clearing left in the middle of the wooden square.

After laying a layer of wooden planks on the ground to increase resistance to pressure, Xu Yi reassembled the steel pipes and rebuilt a shelf almost four meters high on top of them. (To be continued......)

PS: I'm really sorry, I went out for the Mid-Autumn Festival, I wanted to update when I came back, and the result was that the unit notified me to take the exam, and I had to take the exam once a week, and I deducted five hundred for missing the exam, and I didn't deduct three hundred, and I only sent one hundred through guò, which was quite speechless...... And a 100-point paper, 90 points are considered to be passing. After a few days of busy work, I finally had a thrill today. Well, money is still secondary, and if you can't get through it, you can't get over your face, so I really don't have the energy to write. This chapter is still written at night.,Well,I can't see it this month and there's no way to stabilize the dìng update.,I'm really sorry.。
