Chapter 807: Equipment Entry

Just when "A Bite of the Heavenly Empire" continued to grab the headlines, Jiang Hui and his party came to Wuyang.

The factory of Guanghui Automobile has basically completed the infrastructure construction work a few years ago, and now it is time for the equipment to officially enter the site.

For the construction of an automobile factory, the arrival of equipment basically means that it is close to completion, after all, the construction of civil engineering and plant infrastructure in the early stage is the most time-consuming.

"Mr. Jiang, the stamping beam is the first large-scale equipment to be installed today", after a simple ceremony, Kato and Pi Wei took Jiang Hui to visit the factory of Guanghui Automobile again.

Just looking at the term "stamping beam", it feels very unfamiliar, in fact, to put it bluntly, it is a crane used to transport large objects in the stamping workshop - mainly molds.

There are large and small molds, the big ones are tens of hundreds of tons, and the small ones are only a few thousand grams.

However, the molds in the stamping workshop of automobile factories are generally big guys, and they are generally more than ten tons to more than thirty tons of iron lumps.

Such a heavy thing, when it is necessary to move it, it is necessary to use the overhead crane, that is, the stamping beam, which can be said to be the most basic equipment for the operation of the stamping workshop.

"Which manufacturers are used in our stamping equipment?", Jiang Hui first visited the first stamping workshop where large equipment entered the site.

"We have four stamping lines in our workshop, which are used to produce large parts such as four doors and two covers, side panels, front and rear floors, fenders, etc. The 2,500-ton press is used by Schuler, and the rest is by Jier," says Pi Wei.

When it comes to stamping machinery, it's hard to avoid Schuler.

As a technology pioneer in the field of forming equipment and a global market leader, Schuler offers state-of-the-art presses, automation systems, tooling, process technology and related services for the entire field of metal forming processes and lightweight body construction.

In addition, Schuler's products span a wide range of industries, including not only automotive manufacturers and their component suppliers, but also companies from a wide range of industries, such as forging, household equipment, packaging, energy and power.

Schuler is also a market leader in minting technology and provides system solutions for the aerospace, railway, and large-diameter steel pipe industries.

When it comes to stamping machinery, Schuler is a real leader.

Of course, the price is also not cheap.

This is also the fact that Guanghui Motors only uses Schuler's presses on key equipment, and the other presses that are slightly less difficult are the Jier's presses.

In fact, Jier's press is also the best among domestic brands.

Jier Machine Tool was founded in 1937, is one of the "Eighteen Arhat Factory" in the history of the machine tool industry of the Celestial Dynasty, the first large-scale gantry planer and the first large-scale closed-type mechanical press of the Celestial Dynasty were born here.

It is currently the largest R&D and manufacturing base of heavy-duty CNC forging equipment and large-scale CNC metal cutting machine tools in China, one of the top 100 machinery industry in Tianchao, a leading enterprise in the forging industry, and is known as "one of the world's three major stamping equipment manufacturers".

The domestic market share of heavy machinery presses is more than 70%, providing hundreds of large-scale stamping production lines and thousands of heavy machinery presses for the domestic automobile industry and other industries, and more than 400 products to fill the national gap, known as the "equipment department of the automobile industry of the Celestial Empire".

Since 1997, it has provided more than 10 stamping production lines for world-famous automobile companies, and in 2001, it began to export heavy mechanical presses represented by multi-station presses with complete intellectual property rights to the high-end market in the United States, and its products are exported to more than 50 countries and regions.

It can be said that not only many independent brands are in use, but even joint ventures are also using a large number of Jier's products.

After all, everyone likes good and cheap things.

"What is the degree of automation of these stamping production lines? What is the approximate industry level?", Jiang Hui is more concerned about the capacity expansion level of these production lines in the future, so he first asks what level of automation has reached.

"Mr. Jiang, before answering this question, I will briefly introduce to you the development of automobile stamping production lines", Pi Wei did not directly answer Jiang Hui's question.

"Stamping is the main process of automobile production, although the stamping production line is not as innovative as automotive products, but it has never stopped moving forward.

In order to produce auto parts with efficient, safe and high-quality stamping, the automated stamping production line has become an inevitable choice after the scale of automobile production has reached a certain level.

From the 60s of the 20th century to today, the development of the stamping production line can be said to have gone through the following four stages", seeing Jiang Hui listening to his own speech, Pi Wei felt that the time had come to show his professional level.

Jiang Hui has always been an omnipotent image in front of his subordinates, and it is difficult for everyone to find a sense of accomplishment from him, and now he finally encountered a project that the boss is not very clear about, Pi Wei can't wait to tell everything he knows.

"The first stage is a stamping line composed of a single machine, and the early stamping line is to arrange and place presses of different tonnage or the same tonnage together according to different processes and processes. The loading and unloading of the press are all realized by hand. The workpieces between the presses are conveyed by conveyor belts, cranes or even forklifts.

At this stage, the number of strokes is not high, the electrical control system is relatively simple, and the monitoring function of the hydraulic lubrication system is relatively small.

At this stage, the development of different countries was different, spanning the 60s and 80s of the 20th century until the 90s. In China, most of the existing stamping lines belong to this stage of the product, and there are still many automobile and stamping parts manufacturers who continue to buy such products," Pi Wei said.

"It's because it's cheap," Jiang Hui interjected.

"Indeed, the cost of the first stage of the press line is less than a third of that of the most advanced press line," says Kato.

"The second stage is a mechanical multi-station press line with a simple loading and unloading device, and at this stage, for automobile factories and stamping parts factories that do not have a large production capacity, simple loading and unloading devices are used instead of manual loading and unloading of presses," Pi Wei continues.

"During this period, there were generally loading and unloading devices that combined mechanical and pneumatic. These devices, in general, are very flexible and do not contribute much to the improvement of the quality of the workpiece.

In the late 90s, the press line introduced from some second- and third-rate press manufacturers in Europe was equipped with products from this period, and it has been basically eliminated."

"During the same period, the development of the automobile industry has created a very urgent need for mass production.

As a result, a large-scale mechanically fed transfer press was born.

The feeding device of this large-scale mechanical feeding multi-station press adopts a mechanical cam transmission mechanism, which has a very complex structure, and the power of feeding comes from the main drive of the press.
