"There is a fast feeding device between the presses, which has the same and different points as the feeding form of CROSSBAR, the similarity is that its function is exactly the same as that of CROSSBAR; the difference is that CROSSBAR has only one feeding device for the whole line, which is used for feeding the whole line, and this feeding device, each unit is independent.

In the case of the CROSSBAR transfer station, the presses share a common drive shaft, and for the fast feed line, each press has its own drive shaft, and the press is operated in a single run. The production cycle time is a bit lower than that of CROSSBAR, but it can still reach 12~14 pieces/min", continues Pi Wei.

"The press itself can press 20 to 22 times per minute, but the propeller shaft can only pass 12 to 14 parts, can I understand that?" Jiang Hui immediately grasped the crux of the problem.

"It's true that under this combination model, the one-time investment can be greatly reduced, and the flexibility of the production line has also been greatly improved, and the American car factories have been using this technology on a large scale," said Pi Wei.

For the stamping workshop, the production equipment is the most obvious one-time investment, and the cost reduction is very obvious when using equipment that does not require such high accuracy.

However, there is another piece that is actually a very important one-time investment, and that is the mold.

In modern industrial production, the mold is an important process equipment for the production of various industrial products, which shapes the raw materials in a certain way with its specific shape.

In the automobile industry, in various types of automobiles, an average of about 2,000 sets of stamping dies are needed for a model, including nearly 300 sets of large and medium-sized cover molds.
