Chapter 32: The Runaway Bludger

After this incident, Ron seemed to have made up his mind not to talk to Evan or Percy, and he did everything he could to avoid the two of them, like strangers he never knew, and did not greet each other even when they met, much to the embarrassment of Harry and Hermione in the middle.

As time passed, no one mentioned the matter of going to the crying myrtle.

The talk about the Chamber of Secrets in the school was getting weaker, and everyone was about the same as Ron, and whoever the crazy Slytherin heir was, if his abilities were only to petrify a cat, there really wasn't anything to worry about.

Hermione now spends almost all of her time reading, flipping through the heavy Hogwarts Memorabilia and other materials to find clues about the Chamber of Secrets. Evan used his free time to practice spells in a classroom where no one was around.

As the first Quidditch match got closer, Harry trained more frequently.

Every day after dinner, he would be taken to the Quidditch pitch by Wood.

Thanks to Malfoy's sponsorship, the Slytherin Quidditch team's broomsticks were replaced with the latest Halo 2001, which was much better than Gryffindor's broomsticks.

After determining that he couldn't get his hands on seven free light wheels in 2001, Wood's strategy was to increase the intensity of his team's training, having flown in almost all weather conditions, in the hope of closing the speed gap with Slytherin.

Since the last scuffle, the conflict between the two houses has grown, and many Gryffindor or Slytherin students are hoping for another big fight to separate the winners, and this upcoming Quidditch match is tantamount to adding fuel to the fire.

Even before the start of this Saturday's game, a fierce standoff broke out between the two schools, and skirmishes continued to occur.

Fortunately, after the first attack, every professor in the school became extremely sensitive and rushed to stop it before it got worse.

In the blink of an eye, it was Saturday morning.

Evan and Colin go to the Great Hall for breakfast, where he finds the atmosphere in the Great Hall very depressing, and Wood tells the other players to eat as much as they can, but he himself eats nothing, and then drives everyone to the Quidditch pitch when everyone is not finished.

Because of Ron, Evan didn't go with them. It wasn't until eleven o'clock that he followed the whole school to the Quidditch Stadium.

In the stands, Colin helped him take his spot, and next to him was Ginny.

The game began, fourteen figures flying in the air, and Evan was dizzy to watch.

It was clear from the start which team had the upper hand, and in less than ten minutes, Slytherin had scored three goals in a row, with Fred and George's broomsticks weakly following their opponents and never touching the ball.

"Not at all, our broomsticks are so slow that no one but Harry can keep up with Slytherin. Colin said weakly.

"I wish Harry had caught the Golden Snitch sooner. Ginny approved uneasily, and Slytherin scored another goal.

Perhaps their prayers worked, and the situation began to turn in Gryffindor's favor, and suddenly it began to rain in the sky.

Wood's strategy worked, as the Slytherin players were visibly unaccustomed to flying in the rain due to a lack of training, and their speed was getting slower.

Before the others could rejoice, they noticed that a crazy Bludger seemed to be magnetically attracted around Harry, trying to knock him out of the air. Ginny screamed, clutching Aven's arm.

In order to dodge Bludger's ferocious attack, Harry rose sharply.

He suddenly turned, suddenly rotated, suddenly turned sharply, suddenly circled upward, and suddenly circled around, taking a zigzag route. But it didn't work, the Bludger didn't chase anyone else, it just circled around Harry all the time.

Fred and George flew over to protect him and Slytherin seized the opportunity to score two more goals.

"Damn, it must have been the Slytherin bastards. Ron stood up, fist swinging and shouting.

"What are we going to do, Aven?" asked Ginny, worried.

"Don't worry, Ginny!" Evan comforted her, turning to squeeze his way out of the crowd, "Someone's controlling that Bludger, I'll go out and take a look." ”

Not surprisingly, this should be Dobby, a house-elf.

Evan didn't know where he was, but one thing was for sure, he must be hiding nearby and casting spells on Bludger.

Evan walked around the stands, sweeping the pitch with his eyes wide open, and finally saw an ugly green creature at the entrance to the Ravenclaw Blue Corridor. Before he could stop him, Wood called a timeout, and the Gryffindor players gathered together and whispered.

"What's going on?" Wood asked, "We've been defeated, Fred, George! where did you go when that Bludger stopped Angelina from scoring?"

"We're twenty feet above her, stopping another Bludger from killing Harry. George huffed, "Somebody touched that ball." ”

"But the Bludgers have been locked in Mrs. Hodge's office since our practice last night, and they're fine until this morning."

"Listen, you can't keep flying around me, I have no hope of catching the Golden Snitch unless it burrows itself into my sleeve. ”

Harry saw the Slytherin players sneering and pointing at him, and he gasped and said, "Fred, George, you better go back to the rest of the team and let me deal with that wild ball myself." ”

"Don't be stupid, Harry!" said Fred, "it's going to knock your head off." ”

"It's all your fault!"

George looked at Wood angrily, "Either catch the Golden Snitch or die in the ring." You were so dazed to say that to Harry!"

"What now?" Wood looked at Harry, then at Fred and George.

"Oliver, be sensible. Arya Spinnett said angrily, "You can't leave Harry alone with that thing. Let's ask for an investigation!"

"If we stop now, we will be disqualified. Harry shook his head hurriedly, "We can't afford to lose to Slytherin with an out-of-control Bludger, we've been practicing for this game for three months. ”

"But"

"Hand it to me, I think I can fix it. Evan ran over and said.

Hearing his words, the Gryffindor Quidditch players turned their heads in unison and looked at Evan in surprise.

"Did you find anything, Aven?" asked Harry eagerly.

"I'll tell you when I go back, you just need to play in peace now, try to catch the Golden Snitch in front of Malfoy, and I'll take care of the rest. "Please, Harry, I've written a celebration of Gryffindor's victory, two whole pieces of parchment, and you can't let me replace it." ”

"Alright!" Wood looked at Evan and Harry, a resolute expression on his face, "Fred, George, you've all heard the conversation between the two of them, leave Harry alone, let him deal with that Bludger himself." ”

With Mrs. Hooch's whistle, the game resumed.

Knowing that he had to hurry, Evan pulled his wand out of his pocket and hurried to the Ravenclaw stands, keeping his eyes fixed on Dobby casting spells on Bludger, ignoring Luna, who stood up to greet him.

"Faint!" he shouted, and a red light flew out.

Hearing Aven's shout, Dobby turned his head in surprise, stared at two large protruding eyes, and disappeared into thin air before the spell struck him.

"Damn!" Evan clenched his fists, forgetting that house-elves could transfigurate at Hogwarts.

At this time, there was an exclamation from the stands.

Evan hurriedly looked up and saw Harry leapfrog Malfoy in the air, catching the Golden Snitch in front of him, and then he was hit hard by the Bludger behind him, like an off-string kite, falling straight out of the air.
