Chapter Eighty-Nine: Identifying and Killing Werewolves

A few days after Halloween, all the talk at school was about Sirius Black.

The discussion focused on how he entered the castle, and Evan had heard all sorts of theories about Blake being invisible, transfiguing, and turning into something else. Hufflepuff's Hannah even wrote an article for the Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry newspaper, where she swore that she had seen Blake transform into a flowering bush.

The article was vetoed by Hermione before it reached Evan.

Thanks to a series of articles on Dementors, the Hogwarts Wizardry has been selling well since the beginning of the school year, and the issue with the Patronus Charm is a record high, with more than 2,000 copies printed.

In addition to the young wizards at school, many adult wizards also learn the Protective Charm through Hogwarts Wizardry. Evan had just discovered that so many people had no idea about the spell before, and he was worried about the overall level of strength in the wizarding world.

In addition to the rumors that are spreading more and more, there are many things that have changed inside the castle.

For example, the vandalized portrait of the Fat Lady has been removed from the wall, and in its place is a portrait of the heavily armed Sir Cadogan and his fat grey pony.

No one was happy about it, and Sir Cadogan spent half of his time challenging people and asking them to duel him. The rest of the time was spent figuring out ridiculously complicated passwords, which he had to change twice a day.

As another example, Harry is now under close surveillance.

The professors walked with him in the hallways for all sorts of reasons, under all sorts of pretexts, and Percy followed him everywhere like a very lively guard dog.

Blake's invasion of the castle is probably Peter Pettigrew who will be most affected.

Ron tells Evan that the rat tonic he sent doesn't work, and that Spotted now doesn't eat anything but water. It was huddled in the corner under the bed all day, motionless, as if it were dead.

A more accurate description would be waiting for death, Evan had already experimented, and the tracking potion worked, and within a hundred meters, he could feel the location of the spot at any time.

The next step is to find an opportunity to get in touch with Sirius Black, and then the events of the year can be brought to an end. But the first two failed encounters had made Blake wary of Aven, and he became more cautious, and Aven had no idea where he was hiding.

According to the original story, Blake was supposed to be hiding in the Screaming Shack, but Evan checked after Halloween and he wasn't there.

On the night of Halloween, Lupin also saw Blake, who knew that the Screaming Shack could not possibly remain there with Blake's care.

Just as Lupin didn't trust Blake, so Blake didn't trust Lupin either.

Twelve years of life in Azkaban had left him with little sanity, and he didn't even trust Dumbledore, all he could think about was revenge now.

There's a good chance that Blake is hiding in the Forbidden Forest now, and Aven is not interested in finding a dog in the woods, so he decides to devise a plan to lure them out.

At the lunch table, Evan saw Crookshank running out of the auditorium with a large loaf of bread in his mouth, and a flash of inspiration occurred to him, and maybe he could use it himself

Hermione's cat was so clever that Evan sometimes wondered if it was also an Animagus. It must have befriended Sirius Black now, and the bread it had just taken was supposed to be given to Black.

As Evan stared at Crookshan, which slipped past him, he saw Harry, Ron, and Hermione walk into the Great Hall with a dejected expression.

"You know what Snape told me to do! He told me to wipe the night pot in the school hospital, and I wasn't allowed to use magic!" Ron gasped with anger and clenched his fists, "Why can't Blake hide in Snape's office so he can do it for us!"

"No, Ron, isn't it Defence Against the Dark Arts class in the morning of third year?" Colin asked uneasily, "Why are you being confined by Snape?"

"Good question, Colin!" Ron snorted heavily, "I was actually confined by Snape in the Defence Against the Dark Arts class in the morning, and then I'll have to put up with him once in the afternoon Potions class." ”

"But why?"

"Because Snape said that Professor Lupin was too sick to attend class, this Defence Against the Dark Arts class was his substitute. Harry sat down angrily, "Snape must have done the trick, do you remember when I said the other day that he was mixing a potion for Professor Lupin, he must have put something in that potion?!"

Harry's words were agreed by Ron, but Evan knew that Snape had concocted a potion of wolf poison, which needed to be taken a week before the night of the full moon.

Calculating the time, these days should be the days of Lupin's transformation, no wonder one didn't see him.

"Don't be stupid, Harry, why would Snape do this?" Hermione pulled out her Defence Against the Dark Arts textbook.

"Needless to say, he's always wanted to teach this class. Ron shouted, "Look at what he's done in class, spending half of the class criticizing Professor Lupin's teaching methods and the rest of the class asking us an inexplicable question!"

"What did he ask?"

"It's a werewolf, Colin!" Ron said, turning his head, "Snape kept asking us how to identify werewolves, and Hermione knew the answer, but he wouldn't let her answer, and I asked him why he kept asking us this question if he didn't want to know the answer, and then he punished me for confinement!"

"But there must be a reason for this, why does he have to know how to identify werewolves?" said Hermione, thoughtfully.

"Anything could have been, maybe he was bitten by some crazy werewolf, that's why his head is so abnormal!" Ron said angrily, "Look at the homework Snape left us, an essay on identifying werewolves and killing werewolves, at least two pieces of parchment, he's absolutely insane!"

"The difference between a werewolf and a real wolf, the symptoms of a werewolf in human form," Hermione looked at in her Defence Against the Dark Arts textbook.

"Oh my God, Hermione, you're not really going to finish that assignment, get to know an evil werewolf, and kill him?"

"The middle finger is the same length as the ring finger, weakness, full moon, transformation time, fear of something" Hermione ignored him, her hand slicing quickly between the books, and then, as if she had found something, she jerked her head up, her pretty chestnut eyes full of horror.

"Werewolves don't have to be evil, Ron!" Seeing Hermione's look, Evan knew that she had discovered the truth, and he sighed and said, "Wizards usually think that werewolves have no reason or feelings, only know destruction and killing, and are full of bloodthirsty desires, but this view is actually wrong. ”

"You must know that even a person with a pure heart, a person who does not forget to pray at night, will inevitably transform into a wolf on a full moon night when the aconitum grass is in full bloom!" Evan looked at Hermione calmly, "but he is still kind in nature, and we can't distrust him just because he is just a werewolf." ”

"Yes, Aven?!" Hermione asked uncertainly, for some reason, she was suddenly not so worried under the gaze of the other party.

"That's right, I believe him!" Evan nodded.

Harry, Ron, and Colin looked at the two of them in a daze, their expressions confused, how could they not understand what the two guys on the other side were saying.
