Chapter 46: Fugitives and Werewolves
By the time they arrived at the Great Hall, Gryffindor had already arrived, as had Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw.
"Is Dumbledore going to continue the feast?"
"I don't know, it doesn't feel good. Phoenix said.
"The faculty and I are going to conduct a thorough search of the castle," Professor Dumbledore said to the students, as Professor McGonagall and Flitwick closed all the doors to the Great Hall, "for your own safety, I think you may have to spend the night here." I asked the prefects to stand guard at the entrance to the auditorium, and the boys and girls student council presidents remained in the auditorium to take charge of the administration. Report anything to me immediately," he added to Percy, who looked like an important person with a look of pride on his face, "Find a ghost to bring me a message." ”
Professor Dumbledore paused and was about to leave the Great Hall when he added, "Oh, yes, you'll need—" With a casual wave of his wand, the long tables flew to the edge of the Great Hall and stood against the wall, and with another wave of it, the floor was covered with hundreds of purple sleeping bags.
"Sleep well. Professor Dumbledore said that he had slammed the door shut as he went out. The auditorium immediately resounded with an excited buzz: the Gryffindor students were busy telling the other students what had just happened.
"Everybody's in a sleeping bag!" Percy shouted, "Quick, no one will speak!
Blake infiltrated the school, and he tried to destroy the portrait of the Fat Lady by trying to get through the portrait of the Fat Lady - which was the entrance to the Gryffindor Tower, apparently he did not know the password. Soon the news spread,
"I guess he ran away and lived his life in confusion. It's Halloween, and there's no one in the Gryffindor Tower. Melinda said.
"Maybe, whatever. I'm in- I'm too sleepy. Phoenix yawned, rolled over and fell asleep.
The next day, Dumbledore announced that Black had escaped.
For the next few days, everyone at school was talking about Blake. Rumors of how he got into the castle grew as the word spreads: a student at Hufflepuff House named Hannah Abbott heard that Blake could turn into a flowering bush and spent a lot of time telling everyone who would listen to her about it.
As the first Quidditch match approached, Blake was left behind for the time being.
"I'm sorry, I'm late, Professor Lupin, I-" Harry rushed in, but it wasn't Professor Lupin who was watching him from the podium, it was Snape.
"This class started ten minutes ago, Potter, and I think Gryffindor should be deducted ten points. Sit down. ”
But Harry didn't move.
"Where's Professor Lupin?"
"He said he was too sick to go to class today. Snape said, grinning toothlessly, "Didn't I already tell you to sit down?"
But Harry stood still.
"What's wrong with him?"
Snape's black eyes glowed.
"There is no danger to life. He said, as if he wished it was.
"Five more Gryffindors, fifty points if I tell you to sit down again and you don't. Harry slowly walked over to his seat and sat down. Snape looked around the class. "Before Potter interrupted me, I was saying that Professor Lupin didn't leave a record of your class's progress. ”
"Sir, we've learned about the Boggart, the Red Hat, the Kaba, and the Grindellow," Hermione said quickly, "and we're just about to start—"
"Quiet," Snape said coldly, "I didn't ask you. I'm just commenting on Professor Lupin's lack of coherent teaching. ”
"He's the best Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher we've ever had. Dean Thomas boldly said that the students at Gryffindor House agreed. Snape looked even more threatening than usual.
"You are easily satisfied. Lupin has barely made any demands of you - I think you should be able to deal with Red Hats and Grindy Low in the first year. Today we're going to discuss—"
Phoenix watched as he quickly flipped through the textbook, all the way to the last chapter.
"-Werewolf. Snape said.
"But, sir," said Hermione, seemingly unable to control herself, "we shouldn't learn from werewolves yet, we should start learning from Hinkpunk—"
"Miss Granger," Snape said, with a deathly calm tone, "I feel as if I was teaching, not you." I'll tell you all, turn to page 394. He looked around again, "All of you!"
"Can any of you tell me how to tell the difference between a werewolf and a real wolf?"
Everyone sat there silently, motionless, Phoenix's hand held straight in the air as usual, and Hermione wouldn't normally raise her hand to speak in Snape's class, at least after Phoenix raised his hand.
"Werewolves differ from real wolves in several ways. The muzzle and nose of a werewolf - the tail part - the pupil part of the eye are more difficult to detect, and usually you don't have time to look at their eyes when encountering a werewolf. ”
"Good, good," said Snape pleasantly, "Slytheringa ten." ”
Phoenix felt that Snape wanted someone to discover Lupin's second identity, and he kept subtle and subtle ways to get Phoenix to introduce the werewolf in detail. It's understandable that Snape has wanted to be a Defence Against the Dark Arts teacher for several years.
Everyone sits, taking notes on werewolves from textbook, while Snape walks back and forth between desks, checking what they've done during Professor Lupin's teaching.
"It's poorly explained -- that's not right, Kaba is more in Mongolia -- Professor Lupin says eight out of ten, I say less than three out of ten—"
The bell finally rang, and Snape didn't let them go.
"Each of you writes a paper and gives it to me on how to identify and kill werewolves. This topic should be written on two pieces of parchment and handed in on Monday morning. Someone should be in charge of this class. ”
"I think Professor Snape, that seems a little weird, right?" Melinda asked as she left the classroom.
"Indeed, he seems to want Phoenix to say something?" and the others also thought that the content of Snape's lesson today seemed a little strange.
"Leave that alone, tomorrow is the weekend, damn weather, good luck to them. Phoenix looked out the window at the roaring wind, and the Slytherins laughed as their match was postponed because of Draco's problem. Tomorrow is Quidditch Game 1, Gryffindor vs. Hufflepuff.
The next morning, Melinda struggled to drag Phoenix out of bed. In the bedroom, you can hear it. The muffled rumble of thunder, the rattle of the wind against the castle walls, and the sound of trees breaking in the Forbidden Forest in the distance.
"Can't you cancel the game in this weather?" said Phoenix, who didn't wake up.
"It's a pleasure to watch Gryffindor play in this weather, you give me a little bit of cheer and you're going to be playing soon. Melinda looked like she hated iron but not steel.
"The best enjoyment is to sleep in bed. ”
