Chapter 10: Trolls
The next day, Draco couldn't believe his eyes, Harry, Ron, and Hermione were still at Hogwarts, but they were taken to Professor McGonagall by Filch and deducted 50 points. All of a sudden, Gryffindor's hourglass was missing, and the news slowly spread: the famous Harry Potter, who had caused them to lose their scores, and two other stupid first-graders.
Harry wasn't expelled from the Gryffindor varsity team, and he was given a Halo 2000, much to Draco's disappointment. Still, the exams were coming, and no one had time to taunt Harry in the hallways except Draco. Phoenix looked bored at the huge book he carried with him, "Secret Events and Magic in the Wizarding World", which had been magically cast by his ancestors, and only the owner of Peverell Castle could see the words, and the others could only see the blank parchment. He was reading the chapters on Hogwarts, hoping to find the protective magic that lifted the girls' dormitory.
On Halloween, Professor Flitwick announced that they could start making objects fly. After class, Phoenix noticed that Hermione seemed to run away crying.
"Don't go over to comfort and comfort people. Melinda's eyes narrowed slightly, and a dangerous smile hung over her lips.
"Why, I'm looking for Eden, ah, it's coming. "The phoenix, which has a heart for Phoenix, flies around the corner. Slytherin's had long been used to it, and it was impossible not to get used to it. Phoenix often writes back home in the evenings.
No one noticed, and Eden flew in the direction Hermione had run as he left.
At dinner time the auditorium is full of colorful Halloween decorations. A thousand bats fluttered across the walls and ceiling, and a thousand more, like low clouds, swirled above the table, causing the candle flames in the pumpkin's belly to flicker.
Phoenix was eating a fried chicken leg and told Melinda that he had to spend Christmas at Hogwarts because the Peverells had gone to Russia to visit his aunt Belmoss.
Professor Quirrell suddenly burst into the cafeteria, a look of horror on his face. I saw him walk up to Dumbledore's chair, gasp and say, "Troll, in the underground classroom, thought you should know." β
With that, he fell to the floor and passed out.
There was chaos in the restaurant. Dumbledore had to make a few screeching fireworks explosions on his wand head before everyone fell silent.
"Prefect," he said in a deep voice, "lead the students of your academy to the dormitories at once. β
"Leave him alone. Melinda saw Phoenix running in the opposite direction and thought of something. Stopped Draco's shouting.
When Phoenix ran to the women's bathroom, Harry and Ron had already arrived, and they looked relieved. Fool, he cursed in his heart, but shouted on his lips: "Get up." β
A terrible, frightened voice came from inside, and they realized what they had just done, and the two immediately jumped to the side.
"Alaho Cave Open!"
The three of them rushed in, and Hermione cowered by the opposite wall, seemingly in danger of passing out at any moment, and the trolls were closing in on her. Harry and Ron grabbed what they could and threw it at it, trying to distract it. Phoenix was in the space where the troll turned and pulled Hermione to safety.
It roared and lunged at Ron, the hose he threw right at the troll's head, and Harry leaped forward, wrapping his arms around the troll's neck from behind.
Phoenix was speechless for a while, worthy of Gryffindor's courage and brainlessness, you are magicians and not Muggles, and wands are not ornaments.
"Think of a way. Hermione screamed as the troll grabbed Harry's feet and dragged him down, gesturing to swing his club.
"Shadowless!"
The troll suddenly ceased all movement, several wide openings in its body, and its arms fell heavily to the ground.
All three were stunned.
Moments later, Professor McGonagall burst into the room, followed closely by Snape and Quirrell. Quirrell glanced at the troll and clenched his chest tightly.
Snape stooped down to look at the troll. Professor McGonagall looked at Phoenix as he was the only one with a wand in his hand.
"What the hell are you guys up to. Her eyes didn't move at all, and her voice was cold with anger. "You're lucky not to be killed by him. Why don't you stay in the dorm honestly? β
At this time, Teacher Snape stood up and stared at Phoenix as well, and said, "Blade Shadowless Charm." Who taught you? Phoenix. β
Everyone looked at him: "Remus Lupin, he was my personal teacher. β
At this moment, a low voice came from the shadows.
"Please don't do that, Professor McGonagall, they're looking for me. β
"Miss Granger!" Professor McGonagall looked shocked.
"I came to the troll because I thought I could deal with it - you know, I've read about them in books, I know them well. β
Phoenix put away his wand.
"If they had found me, I would have been dead by now. Ron lured the troll away, and Harry jumped on the troll's neck to save him and was caught. The trolls try to kill Harry, and Phoenix saves him. They didn't have time to find someone. When they arrived, the trolls were about to swallow me in one gulp. β
"Miss O-Granger, you stupid girl, how can you think you can deal with a mountain troll? Professor McGonagall mused.
I could, maybe I would have said it if someone else had done it, but Phoenix wasn't that kind of person. However, Hermione took the initiative to shoulder the responsibility and let the province of Phoenix, who had already come up with an excuse, say it.
"Well, not many first-year students have killed a troll," Professor McGonagall smiled at Phoenix, at least he thought so, "Gryffindor plus ten, Slytherinβ"
"Twenty points, what do you think, Professor McGonagall. Snape smirked, it was clear that Harry and Ron didn't even have magic, and it wasn't fair that Phoenix had used magic to kill the trolls.
"Totally agree, Professor Snape. Professor McGonagall nodded.
"I'll tell Professor Dumbledore about this, and you can go. β
After Phoenix left, Ron muttered, "We should have won more than ten points, why should Phoenix be rewarded with twenty points?" β
"There were only five points, and Hermione was deducted five points. β
"Hermione was so nice, she stepped up and got us out of trouble. Ron admitted. "We did save him, though. β
"If Phoenix hadn't used that magic, I'd already been killed by a troll, and he actually saved the lives of both me and Hermione. Harry reminded him.
Back in the common room, Melinda looked at him as usual, but didn't take a bite of the food on her plate.
"Where have you been?" Draco asked with concern, as Phoenix's robes looked like they had been fished out of blood.
Others also noticed Phoenix's anomaly, and many people came over to inquire, and Phoenix waited until everyone had almost come over before he recounted the story, saving him a second time.
After hearing his story, the Slytherin students applauded loudly, and it was definitely a record break to kill a troll in the first grade. In a few years' time, it is almost certain that a great wizard will leave Slytherin House.
Many people who had already returned to the dormitory also rushed to hear that Phoenix had killed the troll. However, they couldn't hear the original version, and Draco took the initiative to take on the role of narrator, tirelessly speaking to everyone who wanted to hear it.
It's just that, listening to his tone and description, Phoenix is not killing a troll, but a dragon, and if it weren't for two stupid Gryffindors jumping on the dragon and hindering Phoenix from casting spells, the whole process would have been much easier.
