Chapter Eighty-Eight: Vent Adventure

"If it's not you—who would it be?" Draco frowned, "Could it be that there are traitors within the vampires, but why would they arrest you?"

He said and looked at Vio, "Santriel—I said, did you get into trouble with some vampire organization? ”

Hermione quickly asked about the last time Vio had met a vampire, and Vio told Harry, Hermione, and Ron about their encounter with a vampire in Hogsmeade.

She couldn't remember if she had said anything like that before, but Hermione immediately pointed out two things that were very different: "The first time, it was you who took the upper part, and someone saved the dying vampire from you, vio, this time it was the other way around, it was the vampire who took the upper hand, but they let us go very easily, they didn't seem to plan anything to us, they just threw it here-"

"Isn't that enough?" complained Ron shaking his sore neck, "our skeletons are about to break!"

"Shut up, Ron. Hermione said sternly, "Listen to me, haven't you noticed that it's the luckiest thing that we're still alive?"

I think I remember very well that there were only two vampires who attacked me, one who didn't do anything to us and only led the way, and the other was the vampire who dragged me and Ron.

The vampire was so powerful that it didn't seem to have much control, and it was sent to the mouth the first moment it caught me—" Hermione recalled, a look of disgust on her face.

But after a distance, he stopped inexplicably for a few seconds, and then he retracted a lot, and seemed to spend a lot of effort to control himself. For a few seconds, I could hear him swallowing. But as soon as he got here, he immediately threw me and Ron away, bounced a few times, and went straight out of there. ”

Hermione finished speaking and pointed to the place where the vampire had gone out before - sure enough, it was the vent and there was nothing wrong with it.

"We-" Vio was interrupted by Ron before he could finish his sentence.

"We should go back the way we came—since you can find us with those glow bands, we can follow them back to where we were—" Ron said confidently.

Draco shook his head mockingly, not even bothering to say anything to Ron about, just stepped aside and looked at the vent to himself.

"What do you mean, Malfoy?" asked Ron, angrily. The main thing was that not only was Draco clearly rejecting his suggestion, but Harry and Hermione were even indifferent to what he said.

"Ron," Hermione's voice softened, "Come to think of it, that vampire must have brought us here on purpose—probably just to wait for us to get out of this vent on our own." In that case, how could they leave a mark for us to return?"

Harry looked where they had come, and sure enough, the fluorescent green ribbon was disappearing at a very fast rate.

And, most importantly, after Hermione was taken captive, they followed a lot of forks in the road before the fluorescent band appeared.

Even if nothing else had changed in the part that had the fluorescent ribbon now, and the fluorescent ribbon was still there, they wouldn't be able to go straight back to the original place—the entrance to the secret passage behind the one-eyed witch statue.

Ron sighed and looked at Vio again, who nodded at him, and now he really gave up.

"Then let's go out, right from here, anyway - sooner or later we have to face it, it's better to face it earlier. Ron said resignedly.

Draco couldn't help but let out a low sneer.

Vio cleared his throat in time to cover up the past, and Ron didn't care.

So they walked all the way to the vents.

Hermione and Ron were already sitting near the vent when they looked at it from a distance, but in reality, they were still some distance away from the vent, and when they actually stood in front of the vent, they immediately noticed that the square vent was not as small as it could see from a distance, and it was wide enough for a person to crawl through.

Just as Ron was about to be the first to crawl over - Harry suddenly grabbed him.

"Put this on. He said as he took out the Cloak of Invisibility from his arms, but it looked like he hadn't taken anything, and handed it to Ron empty-handed.

Ron fumbled for a moment, shook his hands, and then draped himself over his body like a cloak, and soon, all but his head was still properly exposed, and the rest of his body was no longer visible.

"Alright. Ron saw that everyone's eyes were focused on him, and for a moment there was some joy. "I'll stand outside waiting for you, and you can get straight into the cloak of invisibility. It's not big enough - just stay here and guard the door. ”

Ron said as he stared intently at Draco, as if feeling relieved.

Draco didn't care at all, he raised his wand and pointed it at himself lightly, then chanted a spell, and his whole body began to become transparent at a rapid rate.

Vio was a little surprised, but immediately realized that he had used the Fade Vanishing Spell he had seen in the library on the third floor of Centrell Manor.

"Hey, Santeriel, it's up to you if you can untie me - anyway, there's no way to hold your wand and give yourself a spell to break the Fade Charm later. Draco said, almost completely invisible.

VIO wanted to ask him what to do with his robe, but who knows, he must have been digging deeper in his mana, and was already able to extend it to nearby objects while casting a gradient transparency spell - so his robe became transparent directly.

Ron then jerked to the side, only to hear the vent rattle, and then heard Draco whisper a warning, "Don't come out just yet." There are no vampires out there, but there are equally bad things to mess with. It seems to be- werewolf-"

Ron was startled and fled, then looked around in horror for fear that the werewolf would suddenly appear in front of him.

"I said we should go back—"

"Hahaha, coward, coward. Just hearing the werewolf scared like this. Draco's calm voice came from outside.

Several people looked at each other, and Ron immediately straightened up again, looking like nothing had happened, but the abnormal flushing of his face betrayed the anger and shame in his heart.

"Draco, stop kidding, what's going on out there?" asked Vio.

"It's normal and unexpected. The most unexpected people are also here. Draco's voice was full of disdain.
