Chapter Eighty-Six: The Calm Before the Storm

When they came out of Dumbledore's office, Harry sincerely apologized to him, much to his surprise.

Draco stared at him warily, not hiding his unjustified disgust. "It's inconceivable that Gryffindors are always stalking others?"

Seeing this, Harry was afraid of being embarrassed, so he smiled and planned to take Draco away.

I'm sorry I shouldn't have left you there alone with Professor Trelawney, if she was really crazy or sick, she might have hurt you. Harry ignored Draco in front of him and watched earnestly.

Harry didn't think much of it at first, he just wanted to help Professor Trelawney, but he forgot to think about how he felt.

In Dumbledore's office, when he heard what Draco had said, he suddenly understood that there were things that he had not prioritized, not considering that it was not his subordinate, but a friend who also needed to be cared for, a friend who also had feelings, and even worse, she was also a girl who could be scared.

This last point, which he and Ron often ignored mercilessly, now Harry suddenly felt that Gryffindor's boldness really needed to be added with some fine ingredients on the flip side.

Perhaps, the Slytherin code of conduct is not without merit, such as Draco's practice.

Hurriedly told him that it didn't matter, she had never seen Harry apologize so solemnly, and for a while she felt confused, she didn't care that it was Harry who left her there.

She might feel a little hurt if she had been Draco, but Harry, she just regretted that she hadn't heard Professor Trelawney's prophecy with her own ears.

But before she could think about it, two panting figures ran around the corner of the stairs.

When they got closer, the trio found it to be Hermione and Ron.

When Harry saw them, he was thrilled and couldn't wait to tell them everything that had just happened.

"Quick, we should find a place," Harry said, turning and running, completely forgetting that Ron and Hermione were already sprinting towards him, and it was hard to have the strength to continue running.

Hurriedly shouted to him: "Harry, I know a place where I can talk and not far away!"

Harry immediately ran back when he heard this, this time he saw Ron and Hermione gasping and glaring at him, and when he realized something, he smiled sheepishly.

"Harry, I still want to live forever, okay, let me catch my breath first," Ron gasped, not forgetting to speak to Harry.

Draco sneered harshly from the side, as if mocking Harry for not caring about the people around him.

"Ah, by the way, Hermione, I'm here to help you, you've probably heard of the group"

"That company of Rom?" Hermione deflected the subject with kindness, and in her mind, without thinking, knew the need to keep the peace between Draco and Harry, at least superficially.

"The secret passage for the stock," he said, motioning for Draco to follow, and led Hermione to the fourth floor where she frequented.

With her in the lead, Draco reluctantly frowned and followed, and Harry and Ron had nothing to say.

They made their way to the statue of the One-Eyed Witch, and Harry and Ron couldn't help but curse Snape again, blaming him for confiscating the map of the live spots, and fearing that he would suddenly show up and catch them again.

"Shut up, Potter, Weasley! I've never even seen a house-elf nag more than the two of you!" Draco finally couldn't help himself, and cried out for Professor Snape, "If it weren't for the fact that Potter's stupid baby ran around and ran into a murderer and lost his life, Professor wouldn't have bothered to care where you went!"

This remark provoked Harry's rebellion even stronger, and he had not forgotten what Professor Snape had told him that day about his father, James, when he was younger.

"I don't want him to plug in"

He still had a little choked in his throat and didn't spit out, but now he didn't have a chance to spit it out again.

As they arrived, they quickly tapped the back of the one-eyed witch statue and burrowed into the exposed hole, and Hermione took the opportunity to turn around and unceremoniously cast a temporary sound diversion spell on Harry to make his voice disappear.

Ron tugged at his sleeve and motioned for him to stop being angry and get inside.

Harry glared at Draco unceasingly before entering.

The latter smiled wickedly at the corner of his mouth, and was in a very comfortable mood, but was soon pulled in by his hand from the hole and grabbed his robe.

Due to the force, Draco entered the hole in an indecent position, almost crashing into the tunnel and curling up into a ball.

Harry and Ron seized the opportunity to laugh out loud, but Harry laughed for a while before he regretted that the effect of the spell Hermione had cast on him had not faded at all, and he was slightly embarrassed, and suddenly remembered that when he returned from Hogsmeade earlier, he had placed the Cloak of Invisibility here to avoid Snape's search.

This was the perfect time for Harry to silently pick up his invisibility cloak.

It was Hermione's majestic glare at Ron that stopped him from laughing.

Unbeknownst to Hermione and Ron, Harry told them the prophecy again, and was left to add.

Hermione had a rare look of embarrassment when Harry told him that Dumbledore had specifically asked him to come to Hermione and that she was good at handling time.

She thought she was going to tell me about the loss of the time-turner, but Hermione didn't.

Probably because she had consulted with Professor McGonagall that she would never tell anyone about the time-turner with her.

"So, what are we going to do next?" Ron slumped his hands and looked at the others leisurely, he didn't have any burden in his heart, after all, he knew and thought about the least.

"I'd suggest we go back to the common room first, nothing has happened yet!" Hermione said. "Harry's safety is still under constant threat"

Draco laughed wickedly again.

When Harry heard this, his mind felt as hot as if he was being left in the fire, and immediately objected to Hermione's statement, saying that he couldn't sit still and so on.

Leisurely waiting for them to discuss, goodbye moves.

With absolute faith in Mitch's ability to clean up Peter Pettigrew, she now just wants to recharge her batteries and meet the unexpected.

And her hunch is quite accurate.

Just as they were discussing with great interest, not far from the tunnel, in a dark place, there was a sound of footsteps, tiptoeing and very light.

Even Ron, who was leaning against the cave wall, didn't feel the slightest tremor. (To be continued.) )
