Chapter 44: The Sword of Tongue
Krum's face was a little cloudy, and he didn't seem sure what to say.
"Bulgarian, what answer do you want to hear from my mouth?" Silver sneered, "Do you want me to say that I am simply friends with He-Mi-Eun? Silver mimicked Krum's Bulgarian accent, and there was a caustic hint in his voice.
"If I were you, I wouldn't pull out my wand." Silver squinted at Krum's right hand reaching into his arms, "Your Lansky feints won't be useful in a duel. β
Suddenly, there was an unusual movement in the bushes behind Krum. Krum's nerves were already tense at the moment, and without thinking about it, he pulled out his wand and cast a spell on the bushes behind him: "Pass out!" β
A painful male voice came from behind the bushes, followed by the sound of a heavy object falling to the ground.
There was the sound of rustling footsteps all around, and many people were walking towards it.
"What's going on here?" The tall Madame Maxim arrived with a few of the older Beauxbatons students, "My students noticed that two warriors might have a private duel, and begged me to come here to see what was going on, but I didn't expect something to happen. β
Fleur hid behind Madame Maxime and snickered at Silver.
"Now who can sue me for something." Madame Maxim said, "I did hear a man's voice. β
"Dear Madame Maxim, Krum seems to have some misunderstanding about me, and he wants to come here to tell me about it, but there was something unusual behind the bushes just now, and Krum, who was a little nervous, cast a stun spell at it - apparently hitting someone."
Maxim stared at Silver, as if to discern something in his face.
At this time, several of Beauxbatons' students used their magic to break through the dense trees, revealing the victims of the unconscious spell just now.
Buddy. Mr. Crouch, Director of the Department of International Magical Exchange and Cooperation at the Ministry of Magic, and one of the judges of the Triwizard Tournament, collapsed unconscious under an oak tree, the knees of his robe torn, bloodstained, and his face covered in scars, his beard unshaven, and his face gray and haggard.
Madame Maxim let out a low sigh and leaned forward to probe Barty. Crouch's breathing, after finding that Crouch was still alive, her face softened slightly, and she turned to look at Krum, "Mr. Krum, I think you need to make an explanation for this matter." β
Krum's face turned pale and knocked out the referee of the Triwizard Tournament, the director of the Department of International Magical Exchange and Cooperation at the British Ministry of Magic. Crouch is no small thing to laugh at.

"It's a conspiracy! Swindle! Durmstrang's Headmaster, Karkaroff, pointed at Dumbledore's nose and scolded, "It's all a plot against us. Dumbledore! It's not a fair game! First of all, you sneak Potter into the game, even though he's not old enough! Now, you're using a bitter trick to trick Silver into tricking Krum into misleading him into injuring the officials of the Ministry of Magic! Throughout the affair, I sniffed out deception and corruption, and you, Dumbledore, what you kept talking about improving the ties of the international wizarding community, what restored good relations in the past, and forgetting the differences of the pastβI now understand what kind of person you are! β
Karkaroff's chest rose and fell as he moved, "I suspect the British Ministry of Magic is also involved!" Oh my God, for the sake of a Triwizard Tournament trophy, do you not hesitate to provoke a war! β
"Shut up, Karkaroff." Moody stared at him viciously and said, "You've been here since you came here an hour ago, and you've been swearing and swearing. I think you'd better figure out the situation before you express your opinion! Now that your student has injured the Triwizard Tournament officials, and according to other witnesses, it was Crum who called Silver out, and it's better to have a limit to what you do right and wrong, Hogwarts is not the place for you to play that trick. To provoke a war, hum, just by Bulgaria? Don't forget, who helped you get out of the hands of the Red Wizards. β
Karkaroff was visibly taken aback by Moody, and he blushed and stopped talking.
Dumbledore said slowly, "Karkaroff, you don't have to be so excited, although poor Crouch was indeed knocked unconscious by your student, judging by his injuries, he should have been tortured by someone before, and it seems that he has been imprisoned for a while. It should be a complete coincidence that Barty will be there at that time, and I'll vouch for the Ministry of Magic to make sure your students can continue to participate in the Triwizard Tournament. As for Mr. Crouch, I think we can cure him and ask the truth.
"I hope so." Karkaroff snorted, but no one paid any attention to him.
"As for you, Mr. Silver." Dumbledore pondered, "I think you could have handled things nicely." According to Potter, you're very unfriendly to Krum. β
Silver couldn't help but roll his eyes, "Headmaster, I'm not an avid Quidditch lover - why would I be kind to an out-of-school guy who covets my girlfriend, and how does Potter know when I express ill will towards Krum?" Apparently there is some ulterior deal between our two talented Seekers. β
Fleur couldn't help but giggle from the side. (To be continued......)
