Chapter Thirty-Seven: Sending the Young Dragon Away
Within minutes, Ryan was descending the stairs with a small box in his hand.
When the box is opened, the inside of the box is divided into two parts, and on the left is some medical equipment. And on the right are one thumb after another bottles the size of a thumb belly, all containing various liquids.
This box was made by him after obtaining the inheritance of plant planting and traditional Chinese medicine, and the equipment was mailed by his parents. Some of the liquids in the bottle are the essence of plants in the world of Plants vs. Zombies, and some of them are left over from the usual potions practice.
Opening the box, Ryan took an acupuncture needle out of the barrel and picked out a thin tooth about the length of a grain of rice from Ron's wound.
"What is this?" asked a few people in surprise.
Ryan placed the tooth in an empty bottle and explained, "I've read from the books that many dragons have a special tooth to secrete venom when they are young, and it's a means they use to defend themselves. These thin teeth will slowly melt in the opponent's wound after biting it, releasing toxins that make it more difficult for the opponent to heal. ”
Ryan then cleaned Ron's wound with tweezers and cotton dipped in alcohol and soapy water, and finally poured Ryan's own improved potion on the wound, mainly white fresh, with powder ground from the roots of sunflowers.
"Alright, that's it. It's just that whether it can be done or not depends on the situation. After all, there is no cure for dragon bites in the medical skills I have studied. ”
"It's okay bro, it's good. Ron looked at the wound that had been redressed with clean gauze. "At least it doesn't hurt as much as it did now. ”
As Ryan finished his treatment and packed up, there was a lapping sound in the dark window. Hedwig sent Charlie's letter.
In the letter, Charlie said he would be happy to adopt the Norwegian Ridgeback, but he told Ryan that they needed to take the Ridgeback to the highest tower at midnight on Saturday. He has a few reliable friends there who can take the dragon away while it gets dark with a flying broomstick. After all, this dragon cannot be discovered by others.
Ryan and the others looked at each other, after all, it was a dangerous thing to carry a dragon through the entire castle late at night. It's too easy to be discovered by the teachers who patrol the night.
However, Harry eventually suggested that he had an invisibility cloak, enough to cover the two porters and Noble.
The matter was settled, and the next morning, Ron's fingers were only slightly red and swollen, and he looked like he was about to heal. In another day, his fingers would be completely healed. This made Ron praise Ryan's medical skills, and Ryan was a little embarrassed.
Ryan found a midday time to tell Hagrid exactly when to send the dragon away. When they reached the door of Hagrid's room, they found the Great Hound Tooth sitting outside the door, with a bandage around his tail.
Hagrid opened the window and spoke to him. "I can't let you in," he gasped, "Noble is hard to deal with right now—there's nothing I can do with it." Ryan told him about Charlie's letter, and his eyes were filled with tears, but it could also be because Noble had just bitten his leg.
"It doesn't matter, it only bit my boot - it's playing with it - after all, it's a little furry baby. The little furry baby banged on the wall with her tail, and the window clicked.
Ryan said goodbye to Hagrid with a self-begging expression, and as he walked back to the castle, he felt more and more that it was best to send the dragon away on Saturday.
Saturday arrived, and it was dark at night, and the sky was covered with dark clouds. Ryan and the others went out together to pick up the dragon at Hagrid's.
Harry and Ron had said that the two of them would be enough, but Ryan told them that if something got in the way, you would probably be late, and that I would be in charge of getting the guys out of the way, and you just went over.
In the end, the three of them set off together in invisibility cloaks.
Sure enough, Peeves was playing tennis against the wall in the foyer. Ryan stepped out of the Cloak of Invisibility and sneaked in the other direction before making a noise that attracted Peeves away.
After going around and shaking off Peeves, Ryan made his way to the foyer to find Harry and the others gone.
Standing in the foyer, Ryan suddenly felt a little bored going straight back to the dorm now. I have been in school for so long, and I haven't been to the Forbidden Forest to check in. Now it's almost the end of the semester, and I won't have a chance to go if I don't go to this semester.
Thinking that you still have a bunch of magical plants to work with, there should be no danger in the Forbidden Forest if you don't go deep into the core area. Ryan made up his mind and walked out of the foyer and sneaked in the direction of the Forbidden Forest.
As he passed Hagrid's hut, he could still hear loud sobs coming from inside. It seems that sending the dragon away really makes him sad for Hagrid.
At the edge of the Forbidden Forest, Ryan saw a path that gradually disappeared into the depths of the black forest. As we walked along the path, the vegetation grew thicker, and the sky was slowly gone, except for the occasional moonlight shining through the clouds from among the branches above, illuminating the path.
It's just that this light does not bring a sense of security, but this hazy light makes the branches of the surrounding trees seem more open.
Ryan pulls out a lantern plant from the shop, and the surrounding darkness is quickly transformed into light by the lantern plant. He felt that some of the eyes that were prying in the dark were gone, and it seemed that the lantern plants also had some evil warding effect.
After walking along the path for a while, Ryan suddenly noticed some silver-blue light on the ground, and he leaned forward to find that it was not reflected moonlight, but some liquid.
Voldemort should not have killed the unicorn now, so what is the matter with the blood that looks like a unicorn on the ground?
Ryan thought as he weighed whether to catch up and take a look. Finally curiosity overpowered fear, and he began to follow the trail of blood.
These suspected blood stains reflected a clear light under the light of the lantern plant. This is not just a reflection of light, but also has some luminous effect that reacts with the magic contained in the light of the lantern plant.
Ryan walked past a mossy stump and could hear the gurgling of water, apparently a stream somewhere nearby. On the winding path, there are still speckled traces of blood. The only good thing is that it doesn't seem to bleed much, and the unicorn shouldn't be life-threatening.
After walking for ten minutes, approaching the edge of the core of the Forbidden Forest, Ryan still didn't see anything.
Thinking that it was not too early, he was just about to give up tracking when he heard some strange sounds coming from behind the bushes.
He hunched over and stepped forward and quietly brushed aside the bushes, his mouth wide open in surprise at what followed.
Ryan thought it was the most beautiful picture he'd ever seen in his life, several unicorns rubbing each other's necks affectionately, the moonlight shining silver on their watery fur. This peaceful and sacred sight made Ryan lose his mind.
