Chapter 683: Goodbye Hagrid

"Where are we going next?" Hermione turned to Ryan beside her after walking out of the Weasley joke shop, "Are you going to stock up on the ingredients for making wands?" โ€

"Yes, I think we're going to have to go to the Ministry of Magic and apply for a batch of materials now, and then the two wand-makers will be able to get to work. Ryan said as he and Hermione walked towards the hill where the Ministry of Magic was.

After the establishment of the Hogsmeade Ministry of Magic, at Dumbledore's suggestion, most of the raw materials needed to make war materials were now under control. If it's just a small-scale purchase, it's not a big problem, but a large-scale purchase like theirs must be registered with the Ministry of Magic in advance.

Fortunately, the process was still very smooth, because of Ryan's status as a master alchemist, the Ministry of Magic staff didn't even ask Ryan what he wanted to do with the raw materials for making wands. In addition to this, they also applied for their own passes by the way.

"Let's go to Hogwarts Castle and find Hagrid, he should have something we can use. After getting the pass and a batch of raw materials, Ryan and the others walked out of the doors of the Ministry of Magic and headed towards Hogwarts Castle.

When they reach the outside of Hagrid's hut, they find Toothtooth chasing goblins in the vegetable garden outside the hut. Unfortunately, the goblins are very flexible, and will hide in their holes when they rush at them, and laugh at them all the time.

It looks like there's a guest in the room. Ryan thought about knocking on the door of the little house, and soon he heard the sound of the chair moving, and then Hagrid's voice came from inside: "Okay, let me open the door, why are there so many guests here today." โ€

Hagrid opened the door open, revealing his large, bearded face. After seeing that it was Ryan, he opened the door wide and let Ryan and the others in. "I think you two can squeeze into my couch, I've got a bit of a lot of guests here today. โ€

Upon entering the room, Ryan noticed that Hagrid's room hadn't changed much. There was still a lot of food hanging from the ceiling, such as cheese, ham, and sausages, and in the middle of the room there was a burning flame in the hearth of a stove, and on top of it was a large copper kettle that was steaming white.

"Good morning, Harry, Ron, and Ginny. Ryan greeted the three men sitting on the large couch. "It's nice to see you again, we've been a little too busy outside for most of the past month, and we really can't write to you. โ€

"We can understand that. Harry nodded, then said with some excitement. "Recently, we know what you are doing from the news, but unfortunately I didn't succeed in passing the exam last time, otherwise I would definitely have to fight on the front line like you now. โ€

"By the way, speaking of exams. Hermione reacted suddenly. "Harry, Ron, you're going to have to take the S exam this year. At the beginning of the semester, you already knew how difficult the exam was, so why did you still have time to get out of school today?"

"Hermione, why can you still hear you babbling like this when you've graduated. Ron said helplessly. "It's crazy to be in school all day, and both Hogsmeade Day and Quidditch matches have been cancelled this year, saying it's for safety reasons. The only thing that is entertaining for us is to walk around the field, don't you see that there are so many more people on the field now than there used to be?"

Hearing this, Ryan looked at the field through the window, and sure enough, there were many more people on the field than before. And there are quite a few people who use the field to play games that don't require much space, such as cricket, tennis, and football.

"Ah, these kids are very lively. Hagrid said as he poured boiling water into a large teapot, "But I had to cast a protective spell on my window, because my window pane had been smashed twice by a football before that." โ€

"It's pretty common out there. Hermione took a sip of her teacup, then held it up to herself and looked at it suspiciously. "Hagrid, how are you communicating with Madame Maxim now?"

"There's a letter every weekโ€”" Haco replied, who was handing Ginny a plate of sugar cubes, and then suddenly a spirit stood up and almost hit the ham hanging from the roof. "How do you know, I've never told anyone about it. โ€

Harry and the others immediately looked at Hermione with gossipy eyes, Hermione cleared her throat slightly and put the teacup in her hand on the saucer, then pointed to the teacup and said, "This tea set looks very delicate and a little feminine. At the same time, after careful observation, I can confirm that this tea set is made by French Porto ceramics, which belongs to the top porcelain brand in the Muggle world. So I guess it wasn't Hagrid who bought it himself, but someone in France who gave it to him. โ€

And the only French woman Hagrid knew was Madame Baksim, so the rest was easy to deduce. Hermione gave a slightly proud expression.

"You guessed right. After a moment's hesitation, Hagrid admits calmly. "Olim and I had been chatting before, especially in this situation where she was under a lot of pressure and needed to confide in someone who was reliable. โ€

"Yes, as Headmaster Dumbledore said, the more times like this we should be united, only in this way can we truly overcome the darkness. Hermione patted Hagrid's arm on a small stool next to her. "So, I bless you from the bottom of my heart. โ€

"yes, I wish you all the best. "It's just amazing. Harry and the others sent their blessings, and after hearing them, Hagrid covered his face with excited hands and sobbed loudly.

Hagrid had always had an inferiority complex before, because the status difference between him and Maxim was still too big, which is why he had been hiding his relationship, and now everyone's blessings made him put down the big stone in his heart all of a sudden. That's why he suddenly started crying.

It took Hagrid a while to calm down, and then he looked at Ryan and asked. "By the way, you've graduated. I heard Professor Dumbledore say that you've had a lot of things to do lately, so what is the business you're coming to me today?"

"Yes, there are some. Ryan recounted the process of rescuing the two master wand-makers before proceeding. "For safety reasons, these two master wandmakers hope to remain on our estate in times of war. However, during this time, they are willing to help you make wands, so I came here hoping to buy some materials to make wands. โ€

"Wand-crafting materialsโ€”there's it!" Hagrid slapped his head vigorously after pondering for a moment, the sound that made Ryan even a little worried that Hagrid would be photographed with a concussion. Fortunately, this fear did not come true, and soon Hagrid stood up and took out a dozen silver-white unicorn tail feathers, two phoenix feathers, dozens of Thestrals' tail feathers, and small twigs tied into bundles from a box behind him.

"I think that's the most common wand material. Hagrid said, pointing to the things. "These are all things I picked up in the Forbidden Forest before, and I hope those two Wandmasters will put them to good use. Because many of the freshmen in the past two years can't buy a wand of their own, they can only use some old wands or second-hand wands that don't fit their hands. So I hope that the new wand can be made quickly. โ€

"Thank you for your help, by the way, how much do these things cost?" Ryan asked after taking the things.

"You can give me 100 Galleons, this money is what I need to hand over to the school, after all, the Forbidden Forest is also part of Hogwarts in general. Hagrid said, "If it weren't for that, I wouldn't have asked you for a single one." Because I know you're asking for these things for everybody. โ€
