Chapter 684 Unexpected Guest (Ask for Subscription, Ask for Collection, Ask for Tickets.)
After completing his goal here, Ryan communicated with Harry about what had happened recently. Everything has been different from usual at Hogwarts lately, and the teachers and students are completing their teaching tasks according to the previous plan. It seems that under Professor Dumbledore's protection, the chaos outside did not spread further into the school.
That doesn't mean the storm outside hasn't affected the castle, though, and now it's no longer Quidditch or Wizard's Weekly gossip that everyone is talking about, it's about what's going on outside. Students like Ron, whose families are fighting on the front lines, often become the source of all sorts of reliable and unreliable news in the castle.
"Now people keep asking me about the situation outside. Ron said that he looked much more poised than he used to be, and if it had been a few years ago, he might have been excited to be in the spotlight. But now the most common expression on his face was one of worry. "From the letter, Bill, Percy, and my twin brother have been going through a lot of things lately, some of which are dangerous, and to be honest, I'm worried about them. β
After Ron finished speaking, Ginny nodded in agreement. "Speaking of Dad, Fred and George are safer now, after all, they are mainly dealing with some logistics right now, but Bill and Percy are too worried. β
"I know Percy is now a part-time striker, and that job is dangerous. But didn't Bill work at Gringotts, and now that our people can't go to London, what is Bill doing?" Ryan asked, looking at Harry.
He is now a member of the Mobile Brigade under the Auror Office, under Moody's direct command. Harry said, "Because there are so many spells, runes, and magic traps for defense in the area where the pure-blooded Death Eaters are. And Bill, who is a good spell solver, has an advantage in dealing with these things and can help a lot. β
"By the way, Bill said he wanted to thank you in his last letter to me. Thank you-ββThank you, what?," Ron made a gesture of a baboon scratching his head. "How can I forget, what Bill told me in my letter yesterday. β
"Thank you Ryan for the batch of universal spell solving tools that Ryan gave to the Ministry of Magic last time. Ginny looked at Ron with a helpless look, "Ron, you might really need to improve your memory." β
"Oh, it turned out to be that thing. As soon as Ginny said Ryan, he remembered what it was, he had been asking the Weasley twins to collect everyone's feedback and needs, just before the last group of Death Eaters tried to attack Hogsmeade, a batch of feedback was collected, and these feedback included the Aurors complaining that the magical defenses of the pure-blood families as the Death Eaters' stronghold of those manors were difficult to break, resulting in sometimes the Aurors rushing in only to find that the other party had fled or had reinforcements. So ask if there's something that can quickly break down magical defenses.
Using the crystal ball used in his fourth year to destroy the age circle that Professor Dumbledore had placed around the Goblet of Fire, Ryan quickly developed a versatile magic item that could be used to defend against the magic on most buildings today. However, he didn't receive any feedback after delivering the batch of 10 crystal balls to the Ministry of Magic, so he put the matter behind him.
It's just that he didn't expect Bill to write a letter of thanks for this thing, so Ryan asked curiously. "I hadn't heard of what those magic items were for, can you tell me why Bill made a special trip to thank you?"
"Because of an operation the other day," Ginny said after reflecting on the contents of the letter, "they stormed a pure-blood manor and rescued a dozen hostages, and Bill said that if it weren't for your spell-unraising power-ups that broke through a large number of defenses in a short period of time and caught the Aurors by surprise when they hit the Death Eaters inside, the hostages would probably have been transferred or killed. β
"I see. Ryan thought of what George had said earlier, and his mood suddenly felt a lot better. It's always a joy to have innocent people saved through one's own creation.
For the next hour or so, Ryan and the others talked about their recent lives. It wasn't until the bell rang that Harry stood up and said goodbye to Hagrid with their bags on their backs, as they were going to have the next Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson.
Ryan and the others also got up to say goodbye and left Hagrid's hut with Harry, and when they went out, Harry came over while Ginny and Hermione were behind and whispered something, and said in a grateful tone, "Ryan, thank you so much for everything you did for me. β
"What...... Oh. Ryan was confused for a moment, and then realized that Harry was probably talking about the last time he had removed Voldemort's soul from Harry's body through a magical ritual. "Has Professor Dundedo told you about that? β
"Yes, he told me what he was hiding from me before. I'm a little annoyed at first, but I can fully understand what you're doing. After all, that soul is connected to Voldemort, and if I knew what you were hiding, chances were that soul would have done something we didn't want to happen. Harry gave a sincere expression.
"It's fine if you're okay. Ryan patted Harry on the shoulder. "Also, don't take it too seriously. I did that to defeat the mystery man, and it was just a matter of saving you. β
"No, I know how difficult it is to exorcise that soul without preserving my life. Harry seemed a little stubborn, and it seemed that Professor Dumbledore was not hiding anything in this regard. "So no matter what, I'll remember you saving my life. β
"Take it easy, Harry. Looking at Harry's determined eyes, Ryan knew that someone like him must feel that he owed himself a life and wanted to repay him, so he quickly said, "Anyway, we are still in the midst of war now. So let's survive this war first, and when the war is over, we can say anything. β
"You're right. Harry nodded. "I wish us and everyone we know will survive to the end of the war, and I really hope that this war will end soon. β
Everyone Ryan knew hoped that this war would end as soon as possible, because this war had brought too much disaster. Just as Ryan and Harry said goodbye to the hall door with a heavy heart, two tall, furry figures walked out of the castle. The students in the foyer parted as if they had met the water at the bow of a boat, making way for them.
"Pandaren, what are they doing here?" Ryan and Hermione recognized what the two big upright creatures were, but they couldn't figure out why they were in Hogwarts castles at such times.
"Ha, Mr. Leung, and Miss Granger, it's a pleasure to see you today. The pandaman in the lead, dressed in a tuxedo, wearing a high silk top hat, and holding a gold-encrusted cane in his hand, said in Mandarin with some excitement when he saw the two of them, while waving his free left hand and waving to Ryan and them.
"May I ask who you are?" Ryan looked at the panda man standing in front of him with some confusion. To him, all panda people look the same, so he really can't recognize who the panda man in front of him is.
"Ah, you humans always can't tell our faces like this. A cute smile appeared on the panda man's face. "I'm Xiong Duosu, and next to me is my brother Xiong Guangcai. β
"I remembered. After the panda man reported his home, Lane suddenly thought of who the panda man in front of him was, "You are the lobby manager in the Celestial Dynasty Fangshi Bank in Songjiang Ji, the one who sold us the fund last time we exchanged currencies." β
"Yes, that's me. Xiong Duosu smiled gently, and then looked at the more and more curious students around him. "Let's go to Hogsmeade, we just have something to talk to you about. It's not convenient to talk about it here. β
"Alright, let's go to my shop. Ryan made a gesture of invitation and motioned for the two pandamen to follow him. "I have a shop in Hogsmeade, and it's a great place to mingle. β
