034 Third Mission - In the Labyrinth

Lawrence didn't delve into where the extra fork in the road leads.

He continued along the path, the sound of metal clashing in front of him, and then two armor stepped out of the darkness, and they raised their long sticks and smashed them at Lawrence,

Lawrence raised his right hand unhurriedly, and the helmet of the right armor flew out with a "bump", and the whole armor staggered backwards,

Lawrence didn't stop, but took a step to the right, sideways to dodge the attack of the left armor, his left hand slapped along the long stick that the armor swung in the air, and the flames of the palm lighting exploded,

With the impact of the explosion, Lawrence lifted his foot and kicked the unarmed armor hard at the other armor that had lost his helmet, and then he threw the glass ball given by the twins, and the glass beads that shimmered yellow shattered on the armor's chest, and the yellow slime flew everywhere, Lawrence frowned and jumped back,

"I have to admit that the two of them did a good job...", Lawrence thought as he looked at the two pieces of armor that were firmly glued together in a half-kneeling position, and he carefully avoided the slime on the turf and continued to walk,

Although the labyrinth was getting darker and darker, he did not rekindle the flames, but gradually adapted to the darkness of the labyrinth through the moonlight that had already probed.

Lawrence looked up from time to time to gauge the direction he should go by the shining stars, but a touch of orange-red fluorescence in the night sky made him a little uneasy, and he recognized it as Mars, and he knew that if the planet became more and more dazzling, it would be considered a sign of imminent war.

Turning left, Lawrence saw a piece of light, approached and took a closer look, only to find that it was composed of countless points of light, he raised his hand curiously, touched one of the points of light, and quickly retracted his hand, this not so dazzling point of light has an unexpected heat,

Lawrence frowned and thought about it, he raised his hand again, but this time he didn't touch the points of light, but tried to move them by magic from a distance, and as soon as he moved one of the points of light, the whole light moved,

In an instant, the points of light passed by him, and then they stopped, surrounding Lawrence, and then Lawrence understood, he didn't have to look up to remember that this light was the starry sky above his head, and the position of his current perspective was on behalf of the earth,

So how do you get through? He tried to take a step towards the star map in front of him, and the moment he used his magic to dispel the starlight on the path, countless starlights began to spin, pulling up bands of light in the dark labyrinth, and then roaring down,

Lawrence retracted his steps and made defensive movements, two starlights brushing past his cheeks, and more starlights stopped in the air, and then slowly returned to their positions,

"It seems to be difficult to break in." Thinking so, Lawrence turned around and saw the huge ball of light representing the sun behind him, and then he knew how to get through the level.

He recognized the orange ball of light that wasn't supposed to be on this side—and soon he recognized that all the planets on the map were incorrectly positioned.

Lawrence slowly moved his fingers to place the planets in the right place, and when he put the last Saturn in the right place, the entire star map turned into a mist of light and dispersed, making way for the road ahead.

At the next fork in the road, Lawrence squatted beside the fence, quietly waiting for a full ten armor with various weapons to pass by, and waited until the sound of the armor clanged far away, and then walked to the fork in the other side, but unfortunately, at the next intersection because of the changing fence, he missed the fork in the right direction,

Lawrence frowned and stopped, he judged that his position should be close to the edge of the map, for no reason, Lawrence sensed a hint of danger, he turned his head to look to the right side, and reflexively raised his hand to cast a protective spell-

But there was nothing but the fence, and the feeling of danger changed even more dramatically the moment Lawrence turned his head.

"It's like reacting to seeing my movements—" Lawrence stared intently at the fence as suddenly, the sense of danger receded like a tide,

Lawrence was sure that it was not his delusion, but he knew that he had no time to investigate—what had just happened made him feel inexplicably uneasy,

I'm not sure how long it took me to break through the previous level, but I wouldn't be surprised if someone cleared it now (Note 1)

He looked up at the starry sky and confirmed the direction, he hoped that this uneasiness was just because he had just seen the twinkling sparks in the starry sky, and he was too sensitive,

Lawrence thought so, and strode up, knowing that the next intersection would be just in time for the returning armored soldiers,

"They're going to start chasing me." Lawrence ran across the intersection, and the armored soldiers spotted him and chased after him with sonorous steps,

"Turn right, and go straight—" Lawrence led the way, and he saw the intersection a few paces away, and the fence was rapidly obscuring his path.

The soles of Lawrence's feet slipped, like a slide, passing through the gap that almost closed, and there was a chaotic collision sound behind him, it seemed that the armored soldiers were in a ball, Lawrence got up without any pause and continued to run forward,

As he ran, he seemed to be dyed with night, and at the next corner, he passed by the troll holding the bones of an unknown beast.

The troll stared stupidly, spitting a disgusting smell, and his head couldn't understand why he heard a sound and nothing appeared.

The thorn bushes on the last part of the trail did not hinder him, and the thorns were as easily parted as miscanthus before they touched him.

The end of the trail emitted a faint light, Lawrence arrived, he saw many intersections, and all the intersections led here, the trophy of the Triwizard Tournament, on the platform in front of him, but Lawrence did not rush forward, but raised his right hand and waved it to the sky,

"Lawrence—uh......" Harry's shout came to an abrupt halt, and an eight-eyed spider rattled desperately with its pincers, but its efforts were pointless and comical.

Lawrence waved his hand, and the twelve-foot-tall eight-eyed spider was thrown into a path full of thorns, and it was not only dizzy from the fall, but also tied up by Lawrence with thorns.

"Good evening, Harry." Lawrence greeted as usual, "Thank you for the reminder."

"Ugh...... Hi good evening, Lawrence." Harry said, glancing at the stone platform just a few steps behind Lawrence, where the trophy glowed, and a hint of longing flashed in his eyes, and he subconsciously clenched the wand in his hand.

Note 1: The oval Quidditch pitch is 500 feet (152.4 m) long and 180 feet (54.864 m) wide, so the maze should not be larger than that.
