046 is not a perfect ending

The corridor on the east side of the fifth floor became more and more chaotic, Fred and George broke through the encirclement, and even threw several members of the special operations investigation team into the lake, and the curious crowd began to converge in this direction,

"You seem to be ...... Did you know what we were going to do here?" Lawrence glanced at the lake that had taken over the entire corridor and stopped spreading, and the tank that had been dumped on the surface of the lake, carrying a floating and sinking tank, in which Grindy Lowe was locked for an unknown number of days, was obviously free,

"Ah, so to speak." Selwyn replied, she seemed pleased with Lawrence's move to put his wand in his pocket,

"How did you know Harry was there?" Lawrence asked, silently counting in his heart,

"I'll just know, Rovend," Selwyn said, "like I knew there would be traitors among you, but apparently you only had a plan for retreat."

"And you've been ruined, aren't you?" Lawrence quipped, "Then why do you remind you?"

"I thought things were going in a different direction," Selwyn smiled, "but alas, it's pretty much what I predicted."

"Did you foresee what was going to happen next?" Lawrence asked, the members of the Special Operations Investigation Team who were thrown into the lake by the Weasley twins were climbing up the corridor from the lake in embarrassment, and there were already quite a few students watching the excitement on the stairs not far away,

"What?" Selwyn was stunned for a moment, and a group of students passed by noisily around them,

"It seems like not." Lawrence whispered, and then tilted his head towards the lake, Selwin subconsciously looked at the lake that filled the corridor, Lauren quietly moved his fingers, and the silver thread, which was originally straight and hidden, like a plucked string, began to vibrate,

And the members of the Special Operations Investigation Team, who were scolding the students who were watching the excitement, Selwyn was stunned when she looked at the silver thread that suddenly appeared, and she only reacted when she saw those members of the Special Operations Investigation Team pull out their wands and try to get rid of the lake that occupied the entire corridor,

"Stopβ€”" Selwyn shouted a warning, but it was obviously too late, the calm lake stirred up a ripple, and the crowd around the lake was the first to scream, and the crowd standing on the periphery didn't know what was happening, and a big wave that was about to hit the ceiling appeared in their eyes,

"Enjoy?" Lawrence tilted his head, and by this time he had retreated to the stairwell,

Selwyn realized that Lawrence was just stalling for time, but to Lawrence's surprise, he didn't find much anger from Selwyn's expression after being fooled by himself,

Instead, there was a kind of surprise mixed with joy, but the crowd pushing each other separated them, and Lawrence and Selwyn looked at each other for a short time through the crowd.

"Maybe it's too late to find Umbridge?" Lawrence suggested in a slightly mocking tone, his voice still clear to Selwyn's ears in the noisy hallway, but soon, the sound of the raging tide even drowned out the noise of the people,

The first wave did not stop after falling, and the raging water of the lake also followed the route set by Lawrence, and the moving lake had already set off a second wave.

Wave after wave carried the people who were caught up in it to the fourth floor, but Lawrence had already walked up the stairs to the top of the castle, and he didn't care too much about the students who were caught in the lake, because he knew that when the lake stopped, all the people who were caught in it would be "spit out".

Along the way were students who were in the opposite direction of him, and most of the people who didn't understand what was going on were interested in the chaos in the castle,

Lawrence walked slowly, he first walked to a dark gargoyles statue on the sixth floor, after making sure that there were no other people around, he carefully examined the statue in front of him, and finally found traces on the inside of the statue's wings, he took out a blank piece of parchment, and rubbed the information left on it,

Lawrence was not in a hurry, because he knew that since Fred and George were free to leave a message here, indicating that they had at least temporarily thrown off the pursuers,

"The disbandment of Dumbledore's army there"

This is a trap for many people, Umbridge or his Special Ops Investigation Team may mistake it for the Room of Requirement on the seventh floor, and the members of Dumbledore's Army may think it is the Headmaster's office, but Lawrence and the twins mentioned that Professor Dumbledore left in the Astrology Tower, and for the twins, maybe that is the real place to dissolve,

As it turned out, he was right, Lawrence and the Weasley twins met at the top of the tower, and they were crouching on the ground, playing crackling cards in the wind, but judging by the fact that they were both blown to the ground, it was clearly not a smart idea,

"Hey, Lawrence," Fred grinned, "Would you like to get involved?"

"No, Fred." Lawrence gestured to his face, "My ...... to you Well, there's not much interest in smoky styling."

"It's always time to try something new," George said with a grin, "and the two of us are still thinking about how it would be better to leave school."

"Two?" Lawrence raised an eyebrow,

"yes, the two of us." Fred patted the soot off his face, then put the rest of the crackling exploding cards back into his pocket,

"Hey." Lawrence was just about to speak when he was interrupted by George with a gesture,

"Listen to us." George snapped his fingers,

"I don't think we're smart compared to you."

"But it's still a big advantage over some idiots."

"We think those guys from the Special Operations Investigation Team didn't know you were involved in this ...... Games?"

"Selwyn just stopped me." Lawrence reminds,

"That's a question," Fred nodded and asked rhetorically, "Do you think she told Umbridge?"

"I'm not sure," Lawrence said, "but apparently she knows we're going to have something to do on the fifth floor today, but I don't have a clue why she knows about it."

"We'll find out if Umbridge knows about it until we're caught on purpose," George said, "and let's assume she doesn't."

"If she doesn't know, it means you can stay in school." Fred said,

"But why should I stay in school?" Lawrence asked,

"I thought it was clear." Fred replied calmly,

"If you're not interested, you won't tell us," George and Fred looked at each other, "Professor McGonagall suggested that you go back to school to become a professor after graduation."

"That doesn't mean I have to stay in school?" Lawrence was a little unimpressed, "Some of the professors didn't graduate from school."

"If you mean Hagrid," George sighed, "you see how hard he works, but no one wants to continue with the Superexertion Witch Class."

γ€Œβ€¦β€¦ I think that has something to do with the slightly dangerous content of his lessons." Lawrence couldn't help but say,

"Oh, don't break down such small details." Fred grinned, "Anyway, we're firmly against it, you can leave the school with us while you're still in the school."

"And if you leave school with us and your mom knows that you don't actually have to be expelled from school," George shuddered, "you're going to make us afraid to go home for dinner on the weekend."

"Don't think about it, we don't have that much room in the little attic of our store for three beds," Fred said deliberately, "so you might as well stay at school."

"If you can," added George, "help us figure out how exactly Selwyn knows what we're up to."

"Well, I'll stay at school," Lawrence said, "but that's based on Selwyn not telling Umbridge that I'm an accomplice too."

"But at the end of this last," Fred drew his wand with some regret, "it's obviously not perfect."

"I didn't think this would be the last, guys." George looked sad, and his wand slipped from his sleeve into his hand,

"But obviously," Lawrence raised his wand, "we can only accept this imperfect ending."

"Merlin bless, may there be pranks at Hogwarts in the future." Fred jokingly sighed,

"I believe that our final performance will ignite the Cornish elves in their hearts." George said maliciously,

"But I'm going to be absent." Lawrence said, the tip of their wand lit up with brilliant sparks again,

The whisper of "prank completed" was carried away from the tower by the spring breeze, and I don't know where it disappeared in the castle,

The Weasley twins' final show was undoubtedly a success, as they played Umbridge and Filch at the entrance of the hall in front of the whole school, and successfully encouraged Peeves, before finally disappearing into the glorious sunset on their own broomsticks.

Umbridge didn't do anything superfluous about Lawrence, who was standing in the crowd watching all this, apparently she had no evidence or no idea that Lawrence was the one who caused the lake to move, but it made Lawrence even more unable to understand Selwyn's intentions.

But although Lawrence and the twins were not satisfied with the prank at the end, it was clear that this did not affect the high opinion of the prank by others,

Lawrence even met several inverted friezes who were caught in the lake on the way and came to shake his hand, of course none of them were members of the Special Operations Investigation Team, but they didn't have much to complain about this incident, or so to speak, seeing Umbridge's iron-blue face made everyone feel that it was worth it,

The end of the lake is set in front of the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom, which means that every other day, all students who are going to take the Defence Against the Dark Arts class must cross most of the corridor in a small boat to enter the classroom.

Umbridge had no intention of supervising the students sitting in the classroom to see if they were reading obediently, she stood in the door anxiously trying to expel the lake that surrounded the classroom, but Grindy Lowe, who jumped up from the lake and attacked her, always frightened her into firing spells.

That night, a notice was plastered all over the castle's bulletin boards, and the Defence Against the Dark Arts classroom was relocated to an empty classroom on the first floor.

The lake on the fourth floor was also surrounded by ropes and signs, and the students who were rowing on the lake were grabbed back to the shore one by one by Filch, who was so angry that he jumped to his feet.

Umbridge seems to have no solution to Lawrence and the twins' magic, and can only change classrooms and ban students from entering.

But this solution alone did not deter the students who were already ready to move, and all kinds of products invented by the twins were used in Umbridge's class, and despite Umbridge's angry screams, no teacher was willing to lend a hand.

As for the members of the special operations investigation team who wanted to help Umbridge, they were also met with strange things one after another, and they reported to the hospital room one after another.

The isolated Umbridge also wanted to start with the mail package, but the well-disguised prank product always broke through her inspection and came into the hands of the orderer.

However, none of the pranks of these students can compare to Peeves, who has been on the road of pranks for thousands of years, this noisy poltergeist born almost at the same time as Hogwarts, completely remembering the Weasley twins' request before leaving school, almost single-handedly exhausted Umbridge in empty school or after school time,

A few weeks later, at the end of class, Peeves even approached Lawrence and asked him how they blew up the toilets of the whole school at the same time, in a humble tone that Lawrence had never heard before, and after learning about this great Muggle invention, Peeves, who lacked raw materials, had to regretfully give up the idea.

Many people are looking forward to Lawrence's next round of pranks, but those who are more familiar with Lawrence have found that since Fred and George left school, Lawrence has always looked lazy, and his mind is obviously no longer in school.

Hogwarts is also gradually returning to its usual routine, and under the May sun, the final Quidditch match will be between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, (Note 1)

However, in the previous match, Hufflepuff narrowly won against Slytherin, which means that Gryffindor will have to win more than five hundred points against Ravenclaw to have a chance of winning the trophy.

The game seemed to have less pressure on Ron, and he showed a brilliant performance in the game, and Gryffindor also won the match smoothly after Ginny won the Golden Snitch, but in the end the championship trophy was still won by Hufflepuff.

Diggory stood in the middle of the ball pool, receiving the trophy from Umbridge and receiving the cheers of the crowd, Lawrence sat in the high stands and clapped his hands, but the corner of his eye was always on Selwyn,

Lawrence had been staring at the Slytherin for more than a month since the twins left school that day, but to his dismay and upset, Selwyn didn't do anything different.

He tried to find out about Selwyn's family, and after looking through the newspapers in the library for the past few months, he was curious to know what kind of deal Selwyn had made with the Ministry of Magic.

But in addition to the news that discredited Dumbledore and Harry Potter, the most news should be that the two-year Quidditch World Cup group stage will be held in August this year.

With the arrival of examiners from the Wizarding Testing Authority at Hogwarts for dinner in mid-June, it was a sign that the exams, which were extremely important for both fifth and seventh year students, were about to begin.

Note 1: I flipped through the traditional Chinese book I had and found that this Quidditch was written in March (I pre-ordered the version, maybe the reprint has already fixed this error?). But it was obvious that this was wrong, so I went to the English HarryPotterWikia, which has an account of May 1996, and confirmed that the original text should be "under the May sun".
