Lian Liang felt strange and found that the Shenlong Staff was exactly the same as the crutches of the Taibai God in the Taibai Temple, so he thought: It must be the Taibai Immortal who knew that I was in distress and sent the staff to pass the difficulty. So he kowtowed in the direction of the Taibai Temple, crossed the river with the dragon staff, and walked down the mountain step by step. After walking a short distance, Lian Liang looked back and saw that where the dragon scepter had been pointed, there were dragon descending wood trees growing one after another. After he returned home, he told the villagers that the dragon descending wood tree in Taibai Mountain was a crutch given to people by the Taibai God. Therefore, people went up to the mountains to collect firewood and dig medicine, and they always had to cut a dragon descending wood as a walking stick. This custom has been passed down to the order.
