Chapter 30: The Five Eyes and the Six Divine Powers

Just as my mind scanned the relic, the relic seemed to have sensed and took the initiative to fly up and merge with my mind.

Pen & Fun & Pavilion www.biquge.info I found that I unconsciously mastered the magical powers of Buddhism.

1. Paraphrase of Sanskrit for supernatural powers.

It is also translated as "divine power" and "divine power".

It is the mystical power of Buddhas, bodhisattvas, arhats, etc., obtained through the practice of meditation.

Those who are supernatural are unpredictable and unhindered, and they are called supernatural powers.

The supernatural power of Buddhism is "wisdom in God, wisdom in wisdom"

That is to say, with wisdom as the rational body, externalized and the appearance of things - supernatural powers.

"Zongjinglu?

Volume 15", citing five kinds of passes: "One is Daotong, the second is supernatural power, the third is Yitong, the fourth is Baotong, and the fifth is Demon Tong." Demon passers, foxes are old, wood and stone are refined, attached to people and gods, smart and strange (such as the clouds and fog in TV, or magic shows, etc.), this is called demon power. What is the meaning of reporting, ghosts and gods are contrary to knowledge (fate). The changes of the heavens (the changes of heaven and man into people, etc.), the birth of the bardo (when you understand the place of birth in the future), and the hidden change of the divine dragon, which is called the report communication. What is according to the pass, the law and know (such as "Zhou Yi", fortune telling, looking at the physiognomy, etc.), the use of the body (such as out of the yin god, etc.), multiplication talismans, medicine bait and spiritual change, this is called Yitong (that is, the magic power of the outer way), what is the supernatural power, meditation and according to the object (Tianyantong), fate (his heart), all kinds of differences, all with the concentration force, this is called the supernatural power (that is, the Hinayana supernatural power). What is the Taotong, there is no intention to respond to things, the fate of all things, the water and the moon are empty, and the image is ownerless, this is called the Taotong"

(i.e., the Mahayana Divine Channel Force).

The Lengyan Sutra refers to "the ability to understand things"

There are six main types of coverage: (1) Sky Eye Penetration: Seeing Extremely Far Away, or Seeing Through Obstacles (e.g., Walls) or Body; It is not affected by the brightness of the light source.

(2) Heavenly ear to heavenly ear: can hear extremely distant sounds, including speech, etc.; or be able to hear sounds over obstacles (e.g., a secret room conversation).

(3) He has a heart and a heart: he can know the thoughts and thoughts of all sentient beings.

See Telepathy.

(4) Divine Foot Communication: Able to travel to extremely distant places, or the past, present, and future three lives, without being limited by time and space.

(5) Fate: Knowing the past karma of sentient beings, and knowing the origin of current or future retribution.

(6) Leakage and leakage: The magic power of Buddhism is mainly leakage, leakage refers to seeing and thinking, and exhaustion refers to breaking off.

That is to say, to see all the confusion and confusion, to prove the arhat fruit, according to wisdom as the rational body.

And the appearance of the things that arise - supernatural powers.

It is the supernatural power of Buddhism, and it is the so-called supernatural power of Yinzu.

This supernatural power is unique to Buddhism.

If it is exhausted, then the Heavenly Eye, Heavenly Ear, Other Heart, Fate, and Divine Foot are all transformed into Buddhist supernatural powers.

If you don't get all the passes, even if you have the heavenly eye pass, the heavenly ear pass, the heart pass, the fate pass, and the divine foot pass, it is still the "pass" of the demons and monsters

That's it!

Therefore, those who practice Buddhism and Taoism suddenly have five kinds of spiritual powers (Tianyantong, Tian'er Tong, Other Heart Tong, Fate Tong, and Shenzu Tong).

It must be discarded urgently.

If you refuse to give up, you will become an obstacle to the cause, not only useless, but also harmful.

Sentient beings in the six realms, such as heaven, humans, ghosts and gods, are more or less innate in meditation in the world, and have more or less the first five paths, but their abilities are also shallow, deep, and small. The Heavenly Demon also has five kinds of supernatural powers, and can realize all kinds of wonders.

However, the sixth path, the missing path, can only be attained by those who have broken through their afflictions according to the principles of the scriptures.

The Lengyan Sutra mentions that in the process of cultivation, you may encounter all kinds of wonders, perhaps with the deepening of meditation (meditation) and gradually gain supernatural powers, but if you persist in seeking supernatural powers or rejoice in obtaining supernatural powers, you are easily tempted by demons and enter the demonic path.

Not only that, but my naked eye has actually gone further, and I have actually reached the five-eye realm of Buddhism.

Sanskrit pan~cacaks!

i, Pali pan~cacakkhu^ni.

Refers to the five types of eyesight.

Namely: 2. Five eyes (1) naked eye naked eye (Brahma ma^m!)

us), which is the eye of the flesh.

(2) Tianyan Tianyan (Van divya-caks!)

us), which is the eye obtained by the celestial beings in the color world due to meditation, this eye can be seen far and near, before and after, inside and outside, up and down day and night.

(3) Wisdom (Brahma prajn~a^-caks!)

us), which is the eye of the two-vehicle man, can recognize the vacuum without phase; That is to say, it is easy to perceive that all phenomena are void and fixed.

(4) Dharma Eye, Dharma Eye (Brahmandharma-caks!)

us), that is, the bodhisattva can see all the eyes of the Dharma in order to save all sentient beings.

(5) Buddha's Eye, Buddha's Eye (Brahma-caks!)

us), that is, the Buddha's eye that has the functions of the four eyes mentioned above, which does not know everything, and even knows and hears nothing; Smell and see each other, think nothing, see everything.

The Tiantai family said that there are four kinds of eyes, the eyes of heaven, the eyes of wisdom, and the eyes of the Dharma, and the eyes of the Buddha.

The meanings of the four teachings of Tibet, Tong, Bei, and Yuan in the Five Eyes are different.

Esoteric Buddhism believes that there is no superiority or inferiority between the five eyes, and advocates that the virtues of the first four eyes are equal to those of the Buddha's eyes.

In addition, the Shingon family attaches great importance to the Buddha's eyes, and they are Buddha-like, which is called the Buddha's Eye Zun.

In short, the so-called five eyes refer to the function of investigating the beginning and end of things and phenomena from ordinary people to the Buddha's position.

Some call the eye the "door of wisdom"

, "Window to the Soul"

, the eyes can distinguish objects and increase knowledge.

The higher the level of practice, the wider the scope of the mind-eye action.

The distance and scope that ordinary people can see through the naked eye of their parents are quite limited, too small, too big, too far, too close, and too far to be seen by the naked eye, or too dark or too intense, and not suitable for the naked eye.

If you have the eye of heaven, you can observe freely in the material world, without being limited by distance, volume, or luminosity.

However, there are also levels of heaven: there are earth-dwelling heavens, empty heavens, and meditative heavens.

The earthly heaven is the god of good fortune and ghosts, as well as the four heavenly kings and the heavenly gods of the heavens; The empty heaven refers to the god of desire from the heaven of Yemotian to the realm of desire; Meditation refers to the twenty-two levels of the color and colorless worlds.

The higher the level, the more functions of the Sky Eye will be.

The function of the so-called eye of heaven is to see things that cannot be seen by the naked eye, in addition to not being limited by size, distance, light and shade, nor is it limited by concealment or transparent exposure, it does not need to be reflected by light and shadow, but the reflection or refraction of spiritual power.

Tianyan Tianyan has the difference between cultivation and retribution.

Ordinary ghosts and gods have heavenly eyes of varying shades, which are called retribution.

Because there are no ** bound ghosts and gods, there are only spiritual activities, which reduces the obstacles of objects.

The general spiritual medium, that is, the person who is entrusted and attached to the ghosts and gods, this is the heavenly eye that the ghosts and gods repay, and can see things that people can't see.

For human beings, meditation may lead to the eyes of heaven; However, the purpose of meditation is not to cultivate the Heavenly Eye, although there are other ways to specialize in cultivating supernatural powers, but if the Heavenly Eye is cultivated, it does not necessarily mean that you have entered meditation.

In addition to the above, the function of the Sky Eye is to see the events that will occur in the future.

That's because the occurrence of any phenomenon already has a certain causal relationship, and because of the creation of a certain amount of karma, it will cause a certain amount of karma, and often the phenomenon has not yet occurred, and the power to occur that phenomenon has already been formed, and if there are no other factors to join it, it will become a fact that will inevitably happen.

Therefore, a person with an eye can predict the future.

The stronger the ability of the eye of the sky, the longer the future can be seen, and the higher the accuracy.

The so-called accuracy means that Tianyan is not reliable, as long as other factors are added, the future state of affairs may not produce his expected results.

It's like two Go players playing against each other, the higher the number of sets, the more moves you see; The lower the number of segments, the less you see.

But no two players of equal skill can already know the outcome of the game as soon as they get on the board.

Because there are too many variables in the world, fixed numbers are only partial and short-term phenomena.

Therefore, Buddhism does not cling to the Heavenly Eye, nor does it encourage people to cultivate the Heavenly Eye in order to use it.

The so-called five eyes, in addition to the naked eye and the heavenly eye, also have the eye of wisdom, the eye of the law and the eye of the Buddha.

The discerning eye is the evidence of the arhats, seeing the signs of the twelve causes and conditions and the flow of birth and death, so that they can be born and die in the cycle of birth and death, and are not bound by the physical and mental worlds, leaving the five aggregates and the three worlds.

This is obviously different from the common people in the world who say that the wisdom of the hero and the unique function of the wisdom of the eye, the wisdom of the world is the wisdom of the world, and there is still my concept, but it is more profound, sharp and agile; And the discernment of the arhats is selfless and non-attached.

The Dharma Eye is possessed by the Bodhisattvas above the primordial ground, who can see the nature of all Dharmas, the Dharma nature, and personally witness that all Buddhas have one or even more parts of the Dharma Body. Those who understand the Dharma are also said to have Dharma eyes.

In fact, the Dharma Eye is related to the Dharma Body, and if it is only seeing, it cannot be called having sufficient Dharma Eye, but can only be convinced of the existence of the Dharma Eye and the function of the Dharma Eye.

When the Dharmakaya is everywhere and everywhere, it is non-colorless, non-colorless, non-existent, non-non-existent, non-phaseless; Yes, everything is, and arguably, everything is not.

There are persistent people, and everything is not; Attachment-free, everything is.

A bodhisattva with full Dharma eyes is called a Dharmakaya Master, and an extraordinary man can imagine.

There are two kinds of selflessness, which are divided into selflessness and dharma.

A witness who has no self and is detached from others is an arhat; Attaining the Dharma without self and detaching from the Dharma is a bodhisattva above the primordial ground.

Arhats detach themselves from others, gain discernment, and go out of the Three Realms; Bodhisattvas go one step further, detach themselves from the Dharma, attain the Dharma Body, obtain the Dharma Eye, and live in the Three Realms, but are not trapped by life and death, and are called Dharma Body Masters.

Some of the outer paths attached to the Dharma say that they have attained the Eye of Wisdom or the Dharma, but in fact they are not even the Eye of Heaven, but only the reflex effect of the movement of the Qi and the veins, or the spiritual power of the ghosts and gods.

As for the Buddha's eye, it has all the functions of the previous four eyes, and it is the whole of wisdom, that is, the wisdom of the Great Circle Mirror itself, also known as the Great Circle Enlightenment, also known as the Supreme Bodhi.
