The diagram of the mandala in the Tibetan realm is extremely inconsistent, and there are generally three different ones.

1. The Sutra Mandala Sutra Sutra Mandala, that is, the diagram position mentioned in the "Great Nikkei" and "Shu".

"The Great Nikkei" and "Destined Products" belong to the "Great Mandala"

, indicating that the body is endlessly solemnly hidden; What is said in the "Turning the Wheel" belongs to the "Dharma Mandala"

3. The present mandala is the position of the current mandala in the current flow of the picture mandala.

1. The meaning of the Zhongtai Eight-Leaf Courtyard (1) The first courtyard of the Zhongtai Lotus, the eight-leaf lotus represents bodhicitta virtue.

The Tibetan world is centered on the lotus flower, which is the heart of the eight-petal meat group, transliterated as Khan Li, and translated as "meat heart"

, that is, the heart of the object, through the affectionate and non-emotional, its shape is like a lotus flower closed but not opened, and the Buddha's heart is like a lotus flower.

The Vajra realm is centered on the moon wheel, which is the heart of the quality, and the Sanskrit citta, transliterated by the quality, is called "thinking and knowing"

, limited to sentient beings.

Today, the Zhongtai Eight-Leaf Courtyard is to enable practitioners to contemplate the virtues of the Eight Leaves and Nine Virtues in their own minds, and develop their own inherent bodhicitta mind, so they express bodhicitta virtue, (2) the second expression of great compassion.

(3) The third level of the photogram is the convenience of the receptive.

The third explanation of the "Great Shu" says: "From the Buddha's self-evident virtue to the eight-leaf Zhongtai womb hidden, from the Vajra Secret Seal to the first Vajrapani and other inner dependents, from the Great Compassion Ten Thousand Lines to the second Mahasattva's great dependents, from the Pumen to the third level of all sentient beings happy to see the body of the like." If it is shown by the wheel king irrigation item, then the third weight is like the king of all countries, the second weight is like the court hundreds, the first weight is like the branch of the sect, and the middle platform is like the king of the vertical arch, so the flower platform Changzhi is the king of the big mandala. If it is traced from the original source, then the first gate of the middle platform will flow out of each of the first gates, from the first one gate will flow out of the second gate, and from the second one door will flow out of the third gate, if the cause and effect will be done, then the achievement of the third level can pass through the second level, the second level of the introduction of the achievement can pass through the first level, and the first level of the introduction of the achievement can see the middle womb. ”

These triple mandalas are divided into thirteen courtyards (actually twelve courtyards).

The eight-leaf courtyard in the center is painted with an eight-leaf lotus, and the lotus platform in the center is the Great Sun Rulai; Four Buddhas and four Bodhisattvas are painted on the eight leaves, representing the four wisdom and four elements of the Great Ri Rulai, collectively known as the Eight Leaves and Nine Zuns, which are the whole of Virujana and the fundamental whole of the mandala in the Tibetan realm.

The fourth explanation of the meaning of the four Buddhas in the "Great Shu" is: "The Oriental Treasure Buddha is the meaning of bodhicitta and bodhicitta is like the banner of a great general. The Buddha of the King of China in the south is the great compassion of ten thousand lines of righteousness. The Northern Heavenly Drum Thunder Buddha is the wisdom of Nirvana, which is different from the eternal silence of Nirvana, so it is a metaphor for the Heavenly Drum. Amitayus in the West is as convenient as wisdom, as it is in the realm of sentient beings, and the convenience of great compassion is also endless, hence the name Amitayus. ”

Volume 20 explains the significance of the four bodhisattvas in the four corners of Huatai: "The southeast is bodhicitta and without this wonderful cause, it will not be able to achieve great results, so it was originally named." Southwest Manjushri is the great wisdom, the root of beginningless and ignorance. Even if we have bodhichitta but we don't have wisdom, we can't achieve results, so we don't know it. Northwest Maitreya Buddha is great compassion, if wisdom and no sorrow, then it is convenient not to have no Bodhi, so this time also. Northeast Guanyin is the fulfillment of the wish, if there is no fruit when the view of it, this is the difference between shallow and deep, now to the equal wisdom of the future, from cause to effect but such as a body and a wisdom of the ear, is so the eight leaves are all the day such as the one body. ”

2. The courtyards around the Yahoin Temple in Zhongtai surround the twelve courtyards on the front and back, and the left and right are manifested by the immeasurable difference of the whole.

, symbolizing the omniscient merits of the Great Circle Mirror Wisdom.

The Guanyin Temple in the north of Zhongtai is the main deity of the Guanyin Temple, also known as the Lotus Temple, which is equivalent to the wonderful observation of wisdom, indicating the great compassion of the Buddha, and the Vajrapani Temple in the south is based on the Vajrasattva Temple, which is called the Sata Temple, which is related to the wisdom of the Cheng, which means that the great wisdom is sought.

The lower holding of the Ming Yuan is the body of the decree of the Great Ri Rulai, which is called the Ming Messenger, so it is called the Ming Temple, also known as the Five Great Courtyards, which is equivalent to the equal sexual wisdom, which means that the purification of other afflictions into the equal reality, symbolizing the two virtues of subduing and receiving.

The above is the first mandala to be used for the body.

The Shakyamuni Temple at the top of the second level is dominated by Shakyamuni, who has changed his body, which means that it is convenient to take in the virtues.

The third layer of Wenshu Monastery above.

The Wenshu Monastery in it, in addition to the Cover Barrier Temple, the Jizo Temple, the Void Tibetan Temple, and the Susidi Temple, is a bodhisattva family mandala that is enlightened and upward in order to develop the reality of the three endless solemn treasures of the Great Day of the Great Day of Zhongtai.

Wenshu Monastery resides in the east, and represents the wisdom of the enlightened reality.

The second obstacle removal temple on the left side is mainly based on the Bodhisattva of Removing Obstacles, and from the great wisdom gate of Vajrapani Bodhisattva, all sentient beings are removed from their troubles and knowledge, and they are enlightened into the reality of the Three Infinite Solemn Hidden Beings.

The second place on the left is dominated by the Jizo Bodhisattva, which is the result of the merit of removing obstacles, not only has the three kinds of forbearance of patience, peace of suffering, and the truth of the Dharma, but also fights from the Great Compassion Gate of Guanyin to the most bitter evil path to relieve the suffering of all sentient beings, for example, the earth carries all things without labor, but can give birth to all things, so it is called Jizo.

The second Void Tibetan Monastery below is located in the west of the Zhiming Temple, and is dominated by the Void Tibetan Bodhisattva, which is the result of attaining the merits of Jizo's suffering, such as the void has no obstacles, and the void contains all virtues and fulfills the wishes of all sentient beings.

The third Su Si Di Monastery below, this courtyard is actually the third column of the Void Tibetan Temple, and the meridian track does not open another courtyard, but because there are two temples of Shakya and Manjushri above, and a separate courtyard can not be opened below, so the Su Siddhi Kara Bodhisattva of the Void Tibetan Monastery is used as the main one, indicating the virtue of the achievement of two benefits.

The outermost outer Vajra Ministry is painted on the periphery of the four sides, such as the heavens, the medicine fork, the human, the non-human, the seven stars, the twelve palaces, the twenty-eight houses, etc., indicating that the kind should be transformed into the principle of all saints.

This courtyard includes a wide range of fields, all the gods and goddesses mentioned in the scriptures, and even the outer ways of the world that people believe in, such as the five ways of the immortals, the surrounding and the fire, can be included.

The sixth part of the Great Shu says: "All these deities can also be painted into the mandalas according to the other scriptures if they have the form of the Sutra,...... Its mountains and seas, ponds, forests, trees, valleys, medicines, cities and roads, etc., each with their own names to mark the phase, the mountain gods sit on the mountain, the river gods are in the river, and its trees and medicines are held in their hands, or according to them, and so on, and so on, and so on, there are gods of foot and body in the Huayan Sutra...... They can also be listed in order...... When you know that there are miscellaneous ghosts and gods in the body of Vilu Chanapumen, there are no other names in the picture, and there are many of them, and the photos are very wide. ”

3. The 12 courtyards of the Tibetan mandala are 414 in total, and there are three categories in terms of its tribal classification-Buddha, Lotus, and Vajra.

These three divisions indicate that the Tibetan realm is the transformation of rigpa and other gates, so it is divided into three parts according to the three virtues of great concentration, great compassion, and great wisdom.

(1) The Buddha Department is the Buddha Fruit Wisdom and Wisdom of the Buddha, that is, the Zhongtai Eight Leaves Temple and the upper and lower courts, which belong to the Great Dingde.

(2) The Great Compassion Lotus Department is the Samadhi of Great Compassion, which can nourish all goodness, so it is compared to a lotus, which can be placed in Guanyin Temple, Jizo Temple, etc., which belongs to Great Compassion.

(3) The Great Wisdom Vajra Department is the wisdom of the Buddha, which can destroy the three obstacles of confusion, karma and suffering, so it is compared to gold, that is, the left Vajrapani Temple, except for the Cover Barrier Temple, etc., which belongs to the Great Wisdom Virtue.

Although there are three parts of these three virtues in performance, they are actually inseparable from each other.

For example, the fifth cloud of "Da Shu": "The first top of the Great Fan (Panzhi Temple) is the solemnity of the Buddha's body and virtues; Below (Zhiming Temple) is the Buddha's messenger, all of whom are named as the Rulai Department; On the right (Guanyin Temple) is the Samadhi of Great Compassion, which can nourish all goodness, so it is called the Lotus Department; The left side (Vajrapani Temple) is used by the great wisdom of Rulai, which can break the three obstacles, so it is called the Vajra Department. ”

Buddha Quya's "Great Nikkei Commentary" says: "The occurrence of the wisdom of the Buddha from the great circle mirror and the wisdom of equality is the great virtue, the occurrence of the wisdom of the lotus department from the wonderful observation is the great compassion, and the occurrence of the wisdom of the Vajra department from the wisdom of the formation is the great wisdom." ”

If it is equipped with the four Dharma bodies, then the eight leaves of Zhongtai are self-natured bodies, the three dependents are self-receiving bodies, the second-level beings of the great minds are his body-receiving bodies, the third-level Shakyamuni Buddhas and so on are the changing bodies, and the dependents of the Nine Realms are equal bodies.

In order to represent the two methods of color and the two doors of reason, it is two parts of the golden fetus.

The womb is based on the lotus flower, that is, the heart of the eight-leaf flesh group of all living beings, and the mandala is established here, so it is called the fetal Tibetan realm.

The vajra realm is based on the five-strand vajra as the body, and the five-strand vajra expresses the five wisdoms, that is, the samaya shape of the great day, and establishes an mandala on the five-strand vajra, so it is called the vajra realm.

The Tibetan realm of womb starts from the place of birth and desire, and the vajra realm starts from the wisdom of the Buddha.

Therefore, the womb is inherent in the living world, and it is reasonable, so the deities live in the moon wheel of lotus petals.

The lotus flower, the moon wheel is wise, and the wisdom is inside, which means that there are no two.

The Vajra realm is a Buddha realm cultivator, which belongs to wisdom, so the deities live in the lotus flower in the moon wheel and live in wisdom.

Reason is also the same.

Therefore, the two parts of the golden fetus are the color center and the reason are the same as each other, so in order to illustrate the convenience, they are divided into two parts.
