Chapter 12: Hogwarts Two or Three Things
At night, while sleeping, Dudley had a dream.
In the dream, he was dressed in a black robe, holding a wand and standing on the top of a high mountain. In front of him was a cliff, and the crowd behind him looked at him with unwavering eyes. His robes rippled in the wind, and a pair of cold eyes stared straight ahead. He stretched out his hand, and with a flick of his wand, the clouds and clouds between heaven and earth changed color. Suddenly, a huge long table appeared in front of him, and the long table shouted, "Come and eat me." The sudden shock caused him to slip and fall off the mountain
Dudley woke up, he wiped the cold sweat from his head, exhaled and muttered, "This is not a good dream, Lao Deng must give it his strength! ”
Dudley sat up, and through the window he realized that the sky outside had just shone slightly, and the lions cubs in the dormitory were still asleep.
Dudley glanced at an extra piece of parchment next to his pillow that read Gryffindor's lesson. There are no classes on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons at Gryffindor, plus a weekend, which is equivalent to three days off in a row, which is very pleasant.
It's still early, so it's not a night tour. He planned to visit Hogwarts, after all, even if he had watched the movie in his previous life, he didn't know anything about the various secret passages in Hogwarts, and where the Room of Requirement was, the only thing he knew was that there was a secret passage under the beating willow, which could lead to the screaming shack.
He walked out of the Gryffindor common room, where the fat lady was dozing off with her head down.
Dudley didn't know how long he had been walking, but he had been circling around the castle anyway. It's completely circumvented, I'm afraid it's not a maze.
Dudley didn't know where he was now, but luckily, he turned a corner and saw a ghost hovering there at the end of the hallway. He hurried forward.
Dudley saw that the ghost was none other than the ghost of the Gryffindor Tower, Nick, who was almost headless. After walking for so long, Dudley didn't go far at all, probably just walking around the tower.
He waved at the ghost and shouted, "Hey! ”
However, Nick didn't pay any attention to Dudley at all, he just dangled left and right there.
Dudley realized that Nick was still asleep.
"Nick?almost headless Nick?" Dudley didn't react at all, no matter how loud he shouted at him.
"Nick, your head is off. ”
Nick, who was almost headless, opened his eyes instantly, and he exclaimed in surprise, "Really? I can join the Headless Hunting Club!"
Nick wanted to know if his head had really fallen off, and he reached out and waved it hard, his head was still above his neck, but because of the force, his head fell to the side, leaving only a piece of skin attached. He sighed in frustration and said, "This is really an unpleasant joke. ”
Dudley felt that he was quite adaptable, born and cooked again, and it was like that when he saw Nick's bones and wriggling flesh again. He smiled dryly and said, "Nick, can you take me to the auditorium? ”
"It's a great honor. ”
When Dudley arrived at the auditorium, he happened to meet Percy with a group of lion cubs.
"Where have you been? Why weren't you there when Percy asked us to assemble? I asked Harry and Ron, and they said they didn't see you when they woke up. Hermione asked as she sat down next to Dadley, like a mother.
"Don't mention it. Dudley's face was full of frustration, and he said, "I woke up too early, and I wanted to walk around the castle, but I couldn't find my way." ”
Dudley added: "It was just a small mistake. ”
"Actually, you don't have to explain. Hermione looked at Dudley with disdain on her face, and then whispered, "Road idiot!"
"Ahem. What about Harry and Ron? Why didn't I see the two of them. ”
"Unfortunately, they were taken away by the moving staircase. Hermione spread her hands and shrugged her shoulders and said, "Percy told them to wait, I just went to look for them." ”
It wasn't until Dalli had finished breakfast that Percy took Harry and Ron to the dining room.
"This way. Dudley stood up and waved his arms at Harry.
As soon as they sat down, Ron complained, "Filch is such a nuisance." ”
Dudley realized that they hadn't listened to Percy and stayed where they were. Obviously, the little lion will be obedient, which is impossible, so the two of them got lost. Of course, in Dudley's opinion, it was normal to get lost.
Even more unfortunate was when Filch found Harry and Ron trying to break through a door that was the entrance to the third-floor restricted area corridor.
Filch didn't believe they were lost, and firmly believed that they were trying to break in, so he threatened to lock the two of them in the dungeon, but Professor Quirrell just happened to pass by to free the door.
Dudley smiled gloatingly, but there was a hint of worry in his heart that Voldemort had begun to test the guards of the Philosopher's Stone so early.
"Why don't you wait where you are!" Hermione said in a tone of instruction.
But no one paid attention to her.
By the time the afternoon class started, the entire Gryffindor first-year students knew about Harry and Ron's bravery.
The first class in the afternoon was a class on herbal medicine, taught by Professor Sprout, who was also the head of Hufflepuff House. She was short, with a thick hat full of patches on her head, and an earthy smell of her.
Dudley had thought that in the first herb class, Professor Sprout would take them to the greenhouse to talk about some magical herbs. The result was just a long first class in the classroom.
The evening was a history of magic lessons, and the class was attended by Professor Binns, the only ghost professor in Hogwarts, who is said to have forgotten to bring his body with him during class.
Dudley thought the lesson had become boring and tiresome to the point where Professor Binns kept talking about the history of the wizarding world in a monotonous voice, like a lullaby, and he was so sleepy that he couldn't sleep.
Mainly, little Hermione had her eye on Dudley, and the herbology class sat next to him, as did the history of magic class. When Dudley was drowsy, Hermione would pinch him hard, and it was only when Hermione was taking notes seriously and it was a long note that Dudley would be able to squint quietly for a while, which really annoyed him.
Although Dudley annoyed Hermione, he had to admit that she still had some uses, such as Tohmione's blessing, he walked from the common room to the auditorium in a month, then to the library, and finally back to the common room, of course, that's all for later.
Dudley rarely went out in his previous life, staying at home all day to collect money, ordering takeout when he was hungry, and even if he went out occasionally, he still had a map on his mobile phone. In Dudley's life, no one had been out of the house before coming to Hogwarts. He didn't expect to unlock such a skill point as Road Idiot, or the MAX level.
Dudley's day can be summed up in one sentence – either lost on the way or already lost.
The most time Dudley was late was for his first Charms class. By the time he managed to find a place in the classroom, most of the course had already passed.
Luckily, the teacher of the Charms class was Professor Flitwick, who was very short, looking to be only about a meter or so, with some pointed ears and long ears, and Dudley suspected that he had some elven blood. However, Professor Flitwick was really nice, and only deducted 10 points from Dudley, and did not punish Dudley in any other way. If it had been Snape's Potions lesson, the consequences would have been unimaginable.
In the first Transfiguration lesson, Dudley was lost, but he could have been not late. As a result, he met Harry and Ron, who were pestered by Peeves, and after such a delay, the result was self-evident.
When they ran into the classroom, the only sound in the classroom was their footsteps and panting. The other little wizards were quietly reading their books.
Dudley saw a tabby cat crouching on the table in front of him, staring at them with a very human gaze.
Professor McGonagall was very bad, and Dudley, with the spirit of the Dead Friend Immortal Poor Dao, didn't say anything to Harry, just bowed to the cat, and then silently walked to the empty seat next to Hermione and sat down.
Dudley had just sat down when he heard Ron say, "Luckily, if Professor McGonagall were here, her face would have scared people to death." ”
I saw the tabby cat jump forward, and she became Professor McGonagall, and she looked serious.
Ron was taken aback and said, "That's a clever tactic." ”
"Thank you for your comment, Mr. Weasley. She said, "Maybe I should turn one of you into a pocket watch, so that at least two of you can keep the time." ”
"We're lost. Harry argued.
"Then turn it into a map? You don't need a map to get to your location now. ”
After Harry and Ron sat down obediently, Professor McGonagall turned to Dudley and asked, "Mr. Dursley, I'm curious why you bow to a cat?"
"I've only read about Animagus in books, and I know that there are seven of them registered with the Ministry of Magic, including you. And the cat's eyes are a bit like the glasses you wear. Dudley said.
"Very smart and observant. She deducted one point from Harry and Ron, and Dudley was lucky enough to be deducted one point for recognizing Animagus.
"Transfiguration is the most complex and dangerous form of magic you'll ever learn at Hogwarts. "Anyone who is mischievous in my class will be invited out and never allowed to come in." I warned you. ”
She then turned her lectern into a pig, which ran around the classroom with a chirp and then changed back again. The students were all fascinated and eager to start learning this longed-for transfiguration technique right away.
