But it's better to make a wish for how many good deeds you will do, and then make a wish to motivate you to make your own wish.

Don't try to get rich! The Buddha doesn't bless you with wealth, this is a problem with many donors! You can ask for peace and health.

Don't just make promises of something to the Buddha and then throw it away.

The Buddha does not fight for your pillar of incense, this saying is to let us not promise at will, the so-called life should be practiced by words. The Buddha must have been annoyed by these vain words.

Walk in a clockwise direction in the temple to worship the Buddha, do not step over the futon, and when someone is praying, do not walk in front of him.

Do not pick flowers and fruits in the area of temple management without the consent of the temple, and take offerings and other things without permission, this is also a wrong act, and it is called "stealing from the four directions" to get retribution. Do not eat meat at the monastery.

If it is because they are haunted by evil creditors, they will also be happy if they dedicate their merits to the unjust creditors when they finish worshipping the Buddha.

The bells and drums in the temple should not be struck without permission, and the robes and sea greens should not be moved.

If you have already arrived, the Dharma Master has ascended to the throne, and you must bow to the Buddha and take a step back. Then bow to the mage. Once seated, do not greet acquaintances. Do not sit up, cough and talk. If you can't finish listening, but make a chord to the Master, quietly withdraw, and don't beckon others to retreat.

A common way to greet a monk is to fold your hands and bow your head slightly. or one hand in front of the chest with the head slightly lowered. Do not use improper etiquette such as shaking hands, hugging, and touching the monk's head.

Talk to a monk humanitarian. There should be no mention of killing, marriage, or the consumption of fishy meat.

Wash your hands before bowing to the Buddha.

Incense is not called "buying" but "please".

Ordinary people should use their left hand to worship incense, because it is said that the right hand is not pure, and ordinary people mostly use their right hand to kill.

Three burns pray for themselves, six burns pray for two generations, and nine burns pray for three generations. And thirteen is an extreme, and thirteen incense sticks are high incense with complete merits.

When you enter the temple to burn incense, you can bring it yourself or buy it from outside. However, there is usually incense on the main hall, so you can use it directly, and if the financial conditions allow, you can put some merit money in the merit box. If it is difficult, rest assured that the Bodhisattva will not blame you, and you will have the same merit if you worship the Buddha.

Light the incense with your own fire.

Hold the incense stick between the middle finger and index finger of both hands, and put the tail of the incense on the top of the big finger - set it up on the chest, and the incense head will be flat on the Bodhisattva icon - then raise the incense to the eyebrows - and then set it on the chest - insert it with the left hand.

To burn incense is to hold incense in the left hand and a candle in the right hand. When burning incense, first light the incense with your own fire, and the more prosperous the better. People often say that incense is strong.

Hold the incense with your left hand on top and your right hand on the bottom, hold it high above your head, and insert it in the ashes of the incense, and then you can enter the door and prostrate. If you prostrate, you should look for the Buddha, Bodhisattva, or Arhat. You can't bow your head to Jizo Bodhisattva for a while.

It is advisable to have three incense sticks, which indicates that there is no leakage of learning from the three of "precepts, determination, and wisdom"; It also means to make offerings to the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha to live in the Three Jewels. This is the most complete offering of burning incense. The incense is not much, but the sincerity. When the incense is put into the incense burner, it should be at a horizontal angle, so that it is safe and secure

You can't ask for your own incense, and you can't have someone else pay for it.

It is better to light incense with your own fire.

When incense is incense, three incense sticks are enough, worship in a furnace, "ten thousand Buddhas in a furnace" and then turn each Buddha hall upside down, three times to worship together, Buddhism does not have a lot of attention at all, the most important thing is whether you have a pure heart.

Hold the incense to the height of your forehead, close your eyes and make a wish, and then bow three times.

The height of the incense should not be lower than the lower body.

Turn right - facing east, the door of the main hall is usually facing south.

Make a wish in the way and bow three times.

After worshipping, you can insert the incense into the incense burner, pay attention to the left hand should burn the incense, because the right hand kills, the left hand should be relatively peaceful, and you should not throw it into the incense burner.

Entering the temple to burn incense means lighting one's own heart incense, lighting the lamp is to light one's own heart lamp, you can get the blessings of the Buddha and Bodhisattva, so that you can get wisdom and so on.

Incense can be burned one, two, and up to three.

However, I have seen many people who believe in Buddhism and ask them to wear a string of prayer beads around their necks, which ordinary people cannot afford. So I asked for a rosary, which should be carried on my hand.

In the middle of the mat in the temple is for family members to worship the Buddha, in the family men kneel with the left mat, and women use the right mat.

The first method of incense insertion: the first incense stick is inserted in the center, and when inserted, it is silently recited: "Offering the Three Treasures of the Ten Directions and the Third World". The second incense stick is inserted on the right side, and when it is inserted, it silently recites "Offering to the parents and teachers of the previous children." ”

The second method of incense insertion: first right, read: "Oath to break a qiē evil." Ci Zuo, read: "Oath to cultivate a qiē good." Later, read: "Oath to a qiē sentient beings." ”

The third method of incense insertion: it is the same as the first method, but the recitation is relatively simple, the first incense is inserted in the middle, and the recitation: "Offering to the Buddha, feeling and not being confused; The second incense stick is inserted on the right side, and it reads: "The offering method is good but not evil; The third incense stick is inserted to the left, and it reads: "Offering to the monks, pure and unstained." ”

After the incense, stand and fold your palms to the Buddha statue, bow to the Buddha respectfully, and silently recite in your heart: "May this incense and clouds go straight to the Three Jewels", or read: "Go straight to the Buddhas", plead for great compassion and give happiness to all sentient beings. ”。

If it is a ring of incense, it is necessary to light it to the Buddha, and both hands are like holding a long incense stick, and when holding the incense, as long as the mouth silently recites: "Offering the Three Treasures of the Ten Directions and the Three Worlds." May this fragrant cloud go straight to the Three Jewels, pleading for great compassion and giving happiness to all sentient beings. That's it.

If you put sandalwood, that is, a small branch made of sandalwood, you should hold the two ends of the incense with the big finger and index finger of both hands, and the middle finger, ring finger, and little finger are all open and straight, raise your eyebrows, and put them into the incense burner before and after;

The first sandalwood is picked up with the left hand and fed in with the right hand; The second is lifted with the right hand and fed in with the left hand; The third is the same as the first. The method of visualization and meditation should be the same as when incense is applied. Burning incense is an offering, and burning sandalwood is the best!

The posture of kneeling is to kneel on the futon with both knees, put your hands together, and pay attention to the hollow shape of the palms of your hands, hold them high above your head, and go down to the mouth to strand, you can make a wish;

Then go down to the mouth of the heart and meditate; Then spread out your palms, palms up, and bow down.
