Diary Caprice No. 11 "Watching American Dramas and Writing Essays"
I love watching American dramas, and this habit has started since I graduated from college. The first American dramas I watched were "Desire **** City", "Desperate Housewives", and then to "Heroes", "God's Gift" or something, and then chased after "True Love Like Blood", "The Vampire Diaries", "Tudor", "The Walking Dead" and the like, and now I love to watch "A Song of Ice and Fire - Game of Thrones". Sometimes I am chasing more than a dozen American dramas at the same time, and I watch two to three on Storm Video and Audio every night, according to the calculation of 40 minutes of an American drama, I usually watch two or three episodes in one night, that is, 80 minutes to 120 minutes. If I don't watch an American drama that night, it must be a friend party or a movie that night.
I'm not a diligent writer. I know that many part-time writers are working every day, but I can't, probably because my brain is not strong enough, I am too haggard--- and I don't like to be too tired.
Since I wrote the article in February last year, I have found that I have rarely watched American dramas at night, and many American dramas that I have been chasing, such as "Green Arrow", such as "Queen of the Wind", such as "S.H.I.E.L.D.", such as "The Walking Dead", have given up watching. A year ago, I was uncomfortable not watching American dramas every night, and now, I feel that something is missing if I don't code words for a day. Moreover, my habit of coding words is to write a chapter, put it on for a day, and then see the revision the next day. This is a good habit because when you revise the next day, or before the revision, you will find something inappropriate or missing. The first draft is just over 2,000 words, and after the revision, it will be a few hundred words more, or even a thousand more words, and of course, in this case, I will split the extra 1,000 words into the next chapter.
A person's writing is always related to his knowledge. In other words, the books that a writer reads must be reflected in his text in some way. Jin Yong put Guo Jing and Huang Rong in the Song Dynasty, Huang Yi put Xiang Shaolong in the Qin Dynasty, and Tonghua put Ruoxi in the Qing Dynasty--- history is always passed down in strange ways. Presumably, when they wrote their essays, they all had a deep understanding of the history of these dynasties.
A book friend said that when he saw my article, he felt that it was very inconsistent, and he mixed Chinese and Western things. There is no way, Chinese literature is my staple food, and American dramas are my favorite snacks. I think I have to play some other role in the American dramas I watch.
"The Tudors", does Henry VIII and his six wives ,--- feel a little familiar? Grand Duke Quirrell? O(∩_∩)O haha, yes, the prototype of Archduke Quirrell is Henry VIII. The prototype of the Marquis of Dodu Marie is Princess Marie Dotus, the "Bloody Mary" in history.
Also, I'm not a diligent writer, and putting Wen Ying in a non-existent heavenly kingdom would save a lot of things, at least not need to study the history of a certain dynasty.
When I wrote this caprice, I was relieved, the recommendation is over, starting this week, no need to change every day (no day change during the recommendation period, I feel sorry for the cherry editor), the same old way, resume a change every other day.
As I said, being able to do what you love is one of the great joys of life. Therefore, the text has to be written, and American dramas have to be watched. Time is limited and can only be allocated. Writing essays takes up a lot of time, and American dramas are less watched. For example, my favorite American drama "A Song of Ice and Fire - Game of Thrones" is said to be on the air in April, which cannot be missed, must be watched, my great love!
Recently, there have been more essays. I'm like that, sometimes when I'm in a surging mood, I can't help but write a few sentences.
Thank you for reading the article! Thank you for voting!
