Diary Caprice 3: Update speed

May 3, 2014

I'm not a particularly diligent person, nor am I particularly lazy person, but I am certainly an impulsive person.

The idea for this story was conceived in 2012, but it has not been written for a long time. Until February 2014, five or six chapters were written.

On February 13, 2014, on impulse, I uploaded the first two chapters to the starting point. Then it passed the audit.

I write a chapter of about 2500 words, not counting the time to conceive, with the idea and then code words, a chapter takes about 2-3 hours. After I finish writing the first draft, I like to leave it for a day or two and polish it before uploading it. The final uploaded manuscript is generally the third draft, and the largest draft is revised five times.

Originally, I didn't have any manuscripts, so I usually only had 2-3 hours to write every night, and I used the time I spent walking to and from work to compose a story. At my current pace, updating a chapter a day is within my control, and within the scope of my ability to ensure the quality of the work.

I'm an impulsive person and a serious person. Maybe my coding speed is a little slower, but I will persevere, and I hope that my book friends will understand. Now I insist on coding words every day, hoping to save more manuscripts, and I can also update them every day like other authors.

I'm thankful for my impulse on February 13, 2014. Writing a book was one of my dreams when I was a child.

Thank you book friends for dreaming with me! Thank you for clicking, recommending, and collecting! Thank you for your support!
