The Buddha gave him a memory, and since then he has passed hundreds of trillions of Buddha land to the west, and there is a world where the king of the sound is like a world, and in that world, the time when the Ganges sand cannot be counted for hundreds of trillions of eons of time, and the time when the second Ganges sand is not tens of trillions of eons of time, the world at this time has been renamed "Anle", and you can become a Buddha at that time, called "Amitayus Nyolai". When Amitabha Buddha practiced in the ground, he made a vow based on the Sadness Sutra, which was roughly similar to the vow made in the Sutra of Amitayus.

The Sutra of the Bodhisattva of Eternal Birth also says: 'Amitabha, the crown prince of the Wheel King before the time of the immeasurable eons of time, whose name was "Incredible Victory", when he was sixteen years old, heard of the Dharma Bendrani from the place where the Treasure Meritorious Star Tribulation King had come. For 70,000 years, he practiced diligently and diligently, never slept or rested slightly. Later, he met 9,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 After making the Shaman, he practiced this dharani for 90,000 years, and he also expounded and taught all sentient beings the righteousness and righteousness. In the course of his life, he worked hard to educate sentient beings, so that the eight billion sentient beings from others developed bodhichitta. Accumulate merit and virtue, to the place where there is no retreat. ’

The Lotus Sutra also says: 'In the past, when the Buddha was outwitted and did not become a monk. There were sixteen princes, all of whom became novices when they were children. After speaking the Lotus Sutra, he entered the silent chamber and went through 84,000 eons. At that time, the sixteen princes and bodhisattvas, each of whom had ascended to the Dharma seat, were the four groups of bhikshus, bhikshunis, upasaks, and upasaks, and they extensively explained the principles of dredging the Myoho-renge-kyo respectively, and each of them had 680 trillion sentient beings such as the sand of the Ganges River. One of these sixteen bodhisattvas is Amitabha. The sixteenth prince is my Shakyamuni. From this, we can see that Amitabha Buddha, who has been engaged in the work of attaining a solemn and pure land for countless eons of eons with all kinds of special virtues arising from the power of his original will. Take only these verses. It is roughly marked the general content of Amitabha Buddha's solemn Pure Land with 48 vows, as for other things in the Elysian World that are to be reported according to retribution. All of them are well documented in various scriptures. Not all of them are included today.

As for the difference between the three generations of sentient beings in the Pure Land of rebirth, according to the Sutra of Amitayus: 'Those who are able to reincarnate in the Pure Land are all those who have given up their homes to get rid of their desires, shaved their hair and become shamans, and have developed bodhichitta and have always devoted themselves to the Buddha Amitayus and practiced all kinds of good karma. With this dedication, I wish to be reborn in the Pure Land of the West. For beings like this, at the end of their lives, the Buddha Amitayus and the great bodhisattvas of the pure sea immediately appear in front of this person. This person immediately followed Amitabha Buddha and was reborn in the Elysium of another country. It is convenient for the Seven Treasure Lotus Flower, which naturally regenerates and settles in a state of non-retreat. Wisdom is proficient, brave and diligent, and it is at ease with its thoughts. Therefore, Ananda, if there are sentient beings who want to see the Buddha Amitayus in this life and this life, they should initiate the supreme bodhi mind, practice all the good karma merits, and make a wish to be reborn in the Pure Land of another country.

Secondly, those who can pass away at the rank of middle generation are those who have sentient beings in the heavens of the Ten Worlds, who have sincere and deep aspirations to live in the Pure Land of that country, although they cannot become monks and practice pure sand doors and practice all merits, they should initiate the supreme bodhi mind, always concentrate on Amitayus Buddha, practice some good deeds, observe fasting, build and build Buddha statues in pagoda temples, make offerings to monks and monks, hang colored threads and light light lanterns, scatter all kinds of splendor and burn all kinds of incense, so that all merit is dedicated, and make a wish to be reborn in the Pure Land of Bliss. At the end of this person's life, Buddha Amitayus manifested his solemn form, full of all the light and goodness, exactly like the true Buddha, and appeared in front of this person with all the great bodhisattvas and pure seas. This person immediately followed the incarnation of Amitabha Buddha and was reborn in the blissful world of another country, dwelling in a state of non-return. Merit and wisdom are slightly inferior to those of the previous predecessors. As for those who have passed away, if the people of the heavens of the Ten Worlds have a sincere and deep desire to live in the Pure Land of Bliss, and if they are not capable of making all kinds of merits, they should initiate the Supreme Bodhi mind and always concentrate their minds on the Buddha Amitayus, or even only the Ten Thoughts, recite the Buddha Amitayus, and make a wish to be reborn in the Pure Land of Bliss. Or when they hear about this Pure Land Method, which is very difficult to believe, they rejoice in believing and receiving the love of their hearts, and they do not have doubts, and even recite Amitabha Buddha with a pure mind, so that they sincerely wish to live in the Pure Land of another country. When this person is dying, he dreams of Amitabha Buddha, and he can also be reborn in the Elysian World, and his merit and wisdom are slightly inferior to those of the middle generation. ’

According to the nine-grade hierarchy divided into the Sutra of Amitayus, the upper and middle grades are roughly included in the three generations of the Sutra of Amitayus, and the beings of the lower three grades of the Sutra of Amitayus are all guilty of all kinds of sins in their lifetimes, and at the end of their lives, when they are dying, they repent and return to their hearts to wish to be reborn in the Pure Land and attain rebirth, which is not mentioned by the three generations in the Sutra of Amitayus. According to the Nirvana Sutra, the principle of breaking the root of goodness and expounding that sentient beings also have Buddha nature is the purpose of the three generations of the Sutra of Amitayus must be read together with the nine qualities of the Sutra of Amitayus, so that its righteousness can be fully satisfied, please think about it in detail.

The commentary said: 'The Dharmakaya of the Buddhas pervades everywhere, and if this is the case with Virujana, of course it is also like this with Amitabha. In the end, there is no difference between purity and defilement in all the Dharmas, so where is the so-called distinction between the East and the West? However, in the method of convenience, the special and the turbid worlds have completely different feelings for sentient beings. Those who are able to attain non-retreat in the position of ordinary people can only do so in the realm of the saints of the Elysian World, and this is not something that other Buddha worlds can achieve.

As long as the beings of the five turbid and evil worlds can initiate a sincere heart, the ten recitations of the Buddha will be able to achieve the hard work of getting rid of life and death, and surpass the dust and tribulation in an instant. The great compassion of my Buddha can be said to be exerted to the extreme in this Pure Land method.

How fortunate we are to have come across such a vast and supreme Dharma to hear about the extraordinary and magnificent merits of Amitabha. If we can't start to have a rare heart, and give rise to the memories of admiration and love, it is like turning away from my loving father and fleeing from my hometown, wandering on the long road of poverty and danger, drifting and sinking in the painful sea of life and death after a long time, but no one can be merciful and rescued, so how can we not be afraid and vigilant? How can you not work hard?
