Chapter 7 Internal and External Initiates

Bai Fan's first practice was Jinggong, first cultivating qi and then practicing qi. The most basic method of entry into Jinggong is to enter meditation, which refers to a stable state of quietness, without distracting thoughts, concentrating on one point, both intending to guard the dantian, weakening the feeling of external stimuli, and entering the realm of waking up but not waking up, and seeming to know but not knowing.

According to the posture mentioned in the book, Bai Fan sat cross-legged, put his hands flat on his laps, gradually calmed himself down, closed his eyes, threw away the distracting thoughts in his mind, and used his mind to sense the dantian, Bai Fan sat up quietly like this.

At first, Bai Fan felt a little uncomfortable, after all, it was very tiring to maintain this posture for a long time, which would cause blood circulation to be uncirculating, and he had already felt some numbness in his legs, as if there were countless ants crawling around on his legs. Several times, Bai Fan couldn't help but think of the activity, but he couldn't help it.

Gradually, Bai Fan felt as if he had entered a very strange state. The sensations in the body gradually weakened, and the whole person was confused, as if he had fallen into a half-asleep state.

"This should be a state of meditation, I have succeeded!" Bai Fan was overjoyed in his heart, but that feeling suddenly disappeared all at once.

When Bai Fan opened his eyes, he felt that his whole body was comfortable, indescribably comfortable. It seems that this qigong is really beneficial, and only then is it in a state of tranquility, Bai Fan feels that he is very comfortable, and most of the physical strength consumed before has also recovered, and what makes Bai Fan most happy is that he feels that his spirit is particularly strong and full of energy.

Getting off the bed, Bai Fan didn't feel numb in his legs, it seemed that this should be an illusion of physical performance, and this illusion naturally weakened and disappeared after entering a state of meditation.

Although it has not been confirmed, Bai Fan believes that if he continues to cultivate with such perseverance, even if he can't help the ability, it will be very beneficial to himself.

"Gollum." A strange voice came, Bai Fan covered his stomach and said with a wry smile: "Don't people all say that Jingjing can reduce hunger?" How did I get hungry so fast. Hey, it's dark outside. Bai Fan occasionally found that it was already night outside the window, and the neon lights were flickering.

After looking at the time, Bai Fan was shocked to find that it was already more than nine o'clock in the evening. Oh my God, he felt like it had only been more than ten minutes, but he didn't expect it to be hours. It's no wonder that those Xiuzhen novels are often hundreds or thousands of years, and this time flies really fast.

"No wonder I'm hungry, it's been so long." Bai Fan got up and walked to the kitchen, there were instant noodles prepared by Bai Fan in the kitchen, boiled water and boiled two bags, and originally wanted to put an egg, but because it was too long to spoil, so he had to give up.

After eating noodles, Bai Fan felt that his stomach was swollen and he was full. If it were usual, Bai Fan might have rested after watching TV, but the first taste of qigong was good, and Bai Fan was naturally happy. So after eating the noodles, I went back to the house and prepared to try it.

Only this time Bai Fan did not use the sitting posture just now, but changed to a supine position. This is called body adjustment, and it is a prerequisite for practicing qigong, allowing the body to gradually relax before entering a state of meditation. There are many ways to adjust the body, such as sitting flat, cross-legged, supine, sideways, standing, and even walking. For example, the standing and walking poses are quite difficult, and at least Qigong and Hinayana are required to enter the state of meditation in these two postures.

Lying on the bed, he put his body posture in the most comfortable state, and then Bai Fan closed his eyes and slowly tried to enter a state of meditation.

This is a night!

When the morning sun shone on Bai Fan's body, Bai Fan felt warm, and when he opened his eyes slightly, he found that the sky was already bright.

Stretching out his arm and putting it on his forehead to block the dazzling sunlight, Bai Fan smiled bitterly. "It seems that I am a little too anxious, and I want to use the supine position to enter the state of meditation for the second time. As a result, I fell asleep in a daze, and it seems that I still have to follow the steps step by step, slowly and gradually. ”

Bai Fan originally wanted to use the supine position to meditate, after all, lying down is more comfortable than sitting, especially when Bai Fan knows that this meditation time will pass quickly. But in the end, because of the first practice, I had not yet mastered the technique of meditation, and I failed very gorgeously.

I should go back to school today, but Bai Fan has no plans to go back. Anyway, the exam is over, and the school won't be so strict, so Bai Fan plans to stay at home for two days and wait until the exam results come down before going back. Take advantage of these two days to ponder this qigong well, and it is best to use the supine position to enter the state of meditation, so that even if you return to the dormitory, you can continue to practice.

Otherwise, meditating cross-legged and cultivating will not let those two friends mistakenly think that they have cultivated evil skills and are mentally abnormal.

Bai Fan planned to practice both kinetic and static exercises at the same time, in other words, both internal and external cultivation. The morning air is the best and the most suitable for cultivating exercises.

Although Bai Fan planned to practice martial arts, he didn't understand any cultivation methods. Because the main purpose of exercise is to exercise the body, strengthen the body, exhale for yang, inhale for yin, coordinate yin and yang, and move and still. After thinking about it, Bai Fan planned to try it with the military body that he could learn when he first went to school.

Coming to the spacious place in the living room, Bai Fan stood tall and took several deep breaths to adjust his spirit and body to the best. "Drink" Bai Fan shouted, and then a fight began.

This military body has not been fought for too long, and it is a little rusty. At the beginning, I often forgot what was behind it, and it was intermittent. But in the end, he became more and more proficient, and it can be described as enjoyable. Bai Fan gradually adjusted his breathing, and changed his shallow breathing to deep breathing. Each breath is long, even, and slow, as if the fatigue and impurities of the body are exhaled along with the breath.

It probably lasted more than an hour before Bai Fan stopped because he was tired. Although the body is very tired, the spirit is very strong, and it seems that it is really effective. After resting for a while, Bai Fan meditated again and practiced meditation.

Probably because of the feeling of being in good spirits at this time, this time I entered a state of meditation very quickly. It didn't take long for Bai Fan to feel that he was already half-asleep and half-awake. It's a wonderful feeling, as if you're asleep, but everything around you isn't completely blocked, and you can still feel it.

On a whim, Bai Fan remembered that he had heard people say before that he could still have the ability to look inwardly when practicing qigong, and he could see his meridians, blood vessels, and even his internal organs, brain, and so on. Bai Fan tried to look inside to see if he could see it.

Concentrate your mind and control your mind to scan your whole body. Bai Fan was careful in the whole process, because he was not so proficient in entering the static state, and as long as he was careless, he would immediately quit. Gradually, he felt as if there was a very faint qi running irregularly in his body, and that qi was scurrying around his body, and finally it even reached his head and entered his right brain.

Bai Fan didn't wait to think about it, but the qi had already rushed towards the extra strange ball in his right head, and at the moment when the qi just touched, the ball seemed to move all of a sudden. Then, amazingly, the energy actually entered the ball.

Before Bai Fan could react to whether there would be any danger, the ball suddenly emitted a strange light, and his right brain seemed to be enveloped all of a sudden, and then Bai Fan felt a burst of intense fatigue coming, as if even his soul had been sucked away, and he suddenly collapsed on the bed, losing consciousness.
