Such engine oil may be ubiquitous in a few years, but now it is still very rare at the beginning of the popularization of dual-clutch transmissions.

Even Volkswagen was stumped by such a problem, and finally even had to use a dry dual-clutch transmission without lubrication, which shows how difficult this problem is.

Volkswagen's 6-speed wet dual-clutch transmission was launched and soon encountered such a problem, but at that time, Volkswagen gave an answer that the oil temperature sensing element inside the transmission was not up to specification, and so on, so the problem was covered up.

Later, when the vehicle was recalled, all the cars were replaced with 6AT transmissions, and later when the dual-clutch transmission was promoted, it was simply replaced with a 7-speed dry dual-clutch transmission, so that it would not be troubled by the problem of excessive lubricating oil temperature.

However, the dry dual-clutch also has its disadvantages, that is, it cannot withstand too high torque, once the engine power is too large, and the torque exceeds 200 Nm, this transmission is difficult to cope with.

So this is also the reason why Jin Xiaoqiang did not use a dry dual-clutch transmission, because the ecoboost engine of his car is a powerful big guy, and the use of dry dual-clutch will definitely not be able to cope with it.
