Chapter 279: The Origin of the Buddha's Bone Relic

Xiqiang, which has a majority ethnic minority population, has a unique geographical location and ethnic customs, so that almost all the strong people here understand Buddhist culture. The large and small monasteries scattered throughout the territory are enough to show that the Buddhist culture is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. It was not until after liberation that the system of political power that combined politics and religion gradually decreased.

As the most powerful symbol of the West Strong, the Budara Palace is undoubtedly a holy place for Buddhists to worship, and many believers have resolutely adopted the method of one step at a time to worship here regardless of the distance, in order to prove their sincerity to the Buddha. This kind of fanatical religious belief has been seen very little in the mainland.

Because its average sea dial is more than 4,000 meters, it also makes Xiqiang known as the 'roof of the world', known as the closest place to the sky. It also makes the people who live here darker than the people in the mainland. The skin, which is often exposed to the sun, is also much rougher and redder than the average person.

Xiqiang, a pure land that is gradually respected by the world, is sparsely populated and many places where ordinary people can't reach it at all. Compared with the rapid economic development of the mainland, which has brought bad damage to the environment, the unique geographical environment here has made more and more people yearn for this pure land in the world. It also makes this place full of mystery!

The legend of Shambhala heard from the mouth of the contemporary living Buddha may not be groundless in Wu Dao's view. The temple in front of me is said to have been built during the reign of Tibet, and many of the structures are not designed and built by ordinary people.

Moreover, in Wu Dao's view, it is very possible for these advanced Buddha cultivators to leave here after gradually losing the soil for their survival. As for this holy place of Xiqiang Buddhist cultivators, Wu Dao prefers to imagine it as a great Buddhist sect like the Kunlun sect that moved away from the earth to an unknown land.

Listening to the contemporary living Buddha's narration about the difference between Xiqiang Buddhism and Central Plains Buddhism, Wu Daocai suddenly knew that there were countless branches of Buddhism. The way of worshipping the Buddha varies from branch to branch, but in the final analysis, they all believe in the Buddha. Like the monks of ancient times, they would also fight for believers.

It's just that compared with the prosperity of Taoist culture in the Central Plains, it has become the ruling area of Buddhist culture, and it is difficult to see the existence of monasteries here. From this point, it can also be seen that it is normal for Buddhist practitioners in ancient China to use this place as their headquarters.

Just as Wu Dao was quietly listening to the contemporary Living Buddha talk about these things, the Old Living Buddha had already refined the spiritual power of that cup of spiritual tea, and felt a lot more relaxed all over his body. He also felt that the time that was about to sit down seemed to be blurred. This means that he no longer has to worry about the crisis of sitting down in a short time.

Watching the old living Buddha finish his cultivation, Wu Dao also observed it attentively, and found that the dead qi that appeared on his face had indeed subsided a lot. This means that as long as this old living Buddha can break through to the bodhisattva realm. Maybe he could live a few hundred years longer! You must know that the limit of Jindan can be five hundred years, and these people who worship Buddha are not surprised, and I am afraid that they can live longer.

Now that the benefits have been delivered, Wu Dao accompanied the old living Buddha to chat about the difference in the way of cultivating the Buddha's Dao, and quickly said: "The living Buddha's senior, I came to visit this time, but in fact, I was given a high-ranking monk Buddha bone relic during my travels.

According to the villager who sent me, it was a lama who passed away in his village, and he sent it to thank his grandfather for taking care of his funeral. Because it is very useful to me, but I want to know the origin of this Buddha bone relic, so I also ask the living Buddha predecessors to give advice. ”

Hearing that Wu Dao had a Buddha bone relic in his hand, the old living Buddha was undoubtedly very curious, what kind of Buddha bone relic it was, even an immortal cultivator like Wu Dao would be interested.

It's just that when he saw the Buddha bone relics taken out by Wu Dao, he suddenly found that the aura emitted by it was the same as the Dharma aura he cultivated. It can be seen that this should be the Buddha bone relics retained by a certain senior monk of their Xiqiang Buddhism after they sat down. Otherwise, the Dharma aura above would not be so strong.

When it was clear that this was the remains of the predecessors of Buddhism, after the two living Buddhas kowtowed to the relics very respectfully, the old living Buddha took the Buddha bones from Wu Dao's hands with great caution and looked at them carefully. When he found out that the Dharma contained in this Buddha bone was indeed in the same vein as him, he was also curious about the bone relics left by the living Buddha.

It is undoubtedly very difficult to confirm the identity of a high monk during his lifetime based on a single Buddha bone relic. But the old living Buddha, who has lived for more than 200 years, can still deduce who this relic's former monk is as long as he understands it more clearly. After all, the monks who can cultivate such a superior Dharma are all disciples of Xiqiang Buddhism.

When Wu Dao told the location of the Buddha bone and the general layout of the dilapidated lama temple, and the old living Buddha was still speculating, the contemporary living Buddha suddenly interjected: "Master, you said that this Buddha bone relic, will it be left by the sixth living Buddha?" At that time, the Manchu Emperor escorted him into Beijing in the name of deposing the establishment, although it was rumored that the living Buddha sat in Qinghai Lake. But when the Sixth Living Buddha had profound Dharma, how could he die of illness?

If the Sixth Living Buddha did not sit in Qinghai Lake, but really chose to leave, would he really hide in seclusion near the capital, in order to avoid the pursuit of the Manchus? Otherwise, near the land of Longxing in the Manchu Qing Dynasty, such a lama temple appeared. It's unlikely!

Moreover, the layout of the lama temple sits in the north and faces west, and there is also a Buddha platform and a holy water well in the middle, isn't it the layout of the Buddhist room where the sixth living Buddha practiced? ”

With such a speculation, the old living Buddha's eyes really lit up and said: "Kura's inference is very likely that the sixth living Buddha is sitting as a profound monk of Buddhism, and it is normal for him to leave such a pure Buddha bone relic." This can also explain why the Dharma aura revealed is in the same vein as mine.

But if it is not the Buddha bone relics of the sixth living Buddha, I'm afraid it will be time, you can go there to find it in person. If it is really the place where the Living Buddha sits, no matter what, the Spirit Body Pagoda of the Living Buddha must be brought back to Xiqiang, so that its fallen leaves can return to their roots. If it is really a place where the living Buddha escapes from the world, I believe that if his spiritual body is brought back to Xiqiang, the ancestors and they will be able to rest in peace.

In order to appease the anger of the Manchu Emperor, the Sixth Living Buddha died to protect many monks in Xiqiang, and his merits were no less than the appearance of the Bodhisattva! ”

Seeing that Wu Dao didn't seem to know much about this matter, the old living Buddha did not hide it and told Wu Dao about the deeds of this sixth living Buddha. It also tells some of the secret things that the Manchu Emperor did not hesitate to send martial arts masters to suppress the profound Buddhism of the Western Qiang in order to rule the Western Strong.

Hearing that there was such a secret in this, Wu Dao suddenly felt that this Buddha bone was more important to these monks. It's just that without waiting for Wu Dao to speak, the old living Buddha handed the relics back and said: "Lay people believe in fate, but you can know that Buddhism also pays attention to fate. Since this monk relic can be obtained by laymen, it proves that you are related to it.

At the same time, I also have a relationship with my Buddha, so I hope that this relic will be used by lay people. It is waiting for us to investigate whether the lama temple is really the place where the sixth living Buddha sits. I am afraid that there is also a need for lay people to bring their relics for believers to see. Of course, this is just to allow the Sixth Living Buddha to enjoy the incense of the believers, and there will be no loss to it.

As long as we build the spiritual body pagoda of the Living Buddha at that time, this relic can be taken away. Placing the relics of such a high monk in the spiritual body pagoda will only attract the prying eyes of outsiders. Therefore, it is really rare for us to have such a Dharma-rich relic in our hands at present! ”

Seeing that the old living Buddha is not like telling lies, Wu Dao knows that this Buddha bone relic has a magical effect on dissolving anger. In addition, Buddhism has always had a miraculous effect on suppressing the demons and evil spirits in the heart, and when Wu Dao walked in some secret realms, he carried one with him, and perhaps under special circumstances, this relic could not necessarily save his life. You know, even the old living Buddha said that this thing is very rare and rare!

Explain to this contemporary living Buddha, if you don't know the location there, you can seek the person from the special affairs office to understand. If this Buddha bone relic really mentions the sixth living Buddha, then when it is said to welcome back the spirit body to build a tower, Wu Dao will also come to pay homage in person. Subsequently, Wu Dao bid farewell to the old living Buddha.

I feel that the old living Buddha who is deeply blessed by Wu Dao can't take out anything too valuable. After letting Wu Dao stay for a while, he gave Wu Dao a string of dzi beads left by the living Buddhas of the past dynasties, as well as the white Tibetan mastiff that had not yet opened his eyes, as a reward for Wu Dao's gifts.

When he took the dzi in his hand, he felt moist and calm, and Wu Dao, who knew very well that this string of dzi must be worth a lot. As for this Tibetan mastiff that is bred in the underground palace all year round, its spiritual surname is not comparable to that of ordinary Tibetan mastiffs. What's more, this is still a pure white little Tibetan mastiff, and its value is also immeasurable.

Wu Dao, who had always wanted to raise a Tibetan mastiff before, looked at the little Tibetan mastiff that was still sleeping in his hand, and felt sincerely liked. Therefore, after getting these two things in his opinion, they can also represent the old living Buddha's mind. Wu Dao took out two taels of spiritual tea and a small bottle of spiritual spring water again, and quickly floated away under the present of the two living Buddhas.

For the good things of paying so many other martial artists to break their heads for the sake of a piece of news this time, it is still very worthwhile in Wu Dao's opinion. First, he also received feedback from the other party, although these two things are not precious, but they are very much to his liking.

After the dzi goes back, it can be handed over to Xu Yiyi, who is about to cultivate, and I believe it will also promote her to settle down and meditate and cultivate. As for this little Tibetan mastiff, in his opinion, its bloodline is very pure, and if it is raised in his hands, it may not be impossible to evolve into a spirit animal.

Another reason is relatively simple, that is, through his observation in the underground palace, he admires the indifferent cultivation of the old living Buddha. And in his opinion, the old living Buddha seems to have a clear concept of the state. If there is a Buddha cultivator similar to the Jindan Realm, it will be a good thing for the Chinese cultivation world! (To be continued.) )
