Chapter 34: A Journey to the Sky
The summer vacation seems to pass a little quickly, and just when everyone is still immersed in the happy time of the summer, the second school year is coming.
"Augustus, it's a pity that your mother and I have a banquet to attend today, and we can't take you to the station, but you'll have to get into the carriage yourself later, and it will take you straight to King's Cross." In the manor's dining room, Clovis explained to Augustus as he ate his breakfast.
"It's nothing, you don't have to worry, I'll just go by myself." Augustus nodded and picked up a cup of black tea at hand.
After breakfast, Clovis took Augustus to the manor carriage stop, and under Clovis's watch, Augustus boarded the carriage, and then the carriage began to accelerate into the air, and soon disappeared over Julius Manor.
At King's Cross Station, the carriage slowly stopped, Augustus stepped out of the carriage, surrounded by a crowded crowd of people, the afternoon sun swayed wantonly in the station, and everywhere passers-by with luggage packages.
"Monsieur Augustus! Over here. Harry waved at Augustus, who looked at the station, where Harry and Ron were gesturing at him anxiously.
Augustus frowned, took Hai Dongqing and his luggage, and walked towards Harry.
"What are you two doing, the train is about to start in a minute, why haven't you entered the station yet."
Harry had a glimmer of joy in his eyes. "The two of us don't know what the road is about, and we can't get into the platform now. It was like it had been enchanted and fixed. You must have a way, don't you? ”
Augustus looked suspiciously at the center of platforms 9 and 10, where a stone wall had indeed been cast and had been completely sealed under the influence of the Eye of Inquiry. Draw out the silver wand and unfreeze it quickly. The red light struck, and to Augustus's surprise, the target did not respond. What's going on, could it be that the caster's level is high enough to ignore the effects of all level 5 magic? Augustus thought for a moment, and threw a magic analysis over, and the information back made Augustus suddenly realize that it turned out to be a magic function that did not belong to this system, so it was useless to quickly unfix it, in other words, it was not a spell cast by humans. Since this is easy to do, just destroy it. A red laser with high temperature flew out, and under the high-temperature cutting action of the laser, the stone wall was quickly divided.
"Alright, now you can go in." Augustus looked at Harry Ron next to him and motioned for them to go in first.
Harry and Ron didn't rush in, and their expressions were a little strange at this time.
"What's wrong? If you don't get in, the train will leave. Augustus asked curiously.
"It's too late, now the time train has started!" Harry shrugged his shoulders with helplessness in his eyes.
Augustus looked at his watch and patted his forehead in annoyance, how could it be that every time he met the two of them, nothing good happened.
"Harry!" Ron's eyes lit up and he exclaimed, "Cars!" What's wrong?" We can fly to Hogwarts by car!"" But I thought-"
"We're trapped, aren't we? We have to rush back to school, don't we? In a real emergency, the little wizard can also use magic. Paragraph 19 or Paragraph 1 of the Restriction Regulations states: "Harry went from panic to excitement. "Will you drive?" No problem. Ron said, turning to Augustus, "Let's go, if we hurry, we can still catch up with the Hogwarts Express." They walked briskly through the curious crowd and out of the station to the old Ford Anglia parked on the side road. Ron clicked his wand a few times and opened the spacious suitcase. They moved the boxes in, sat them all in...... "Let's see if anyone is paying attention to us." Ron said, using his wand a little more, and started the car. Harry stuck his head out the window: there were rumbling cars on the road, but their street was empty.
"No one."
Ron pressed a small silver button on the dashboard. Their cars are gone – and so are the two of them. Harry could feel his seat vibrate, he could hear the engine, he could feel his hands on his knees, his glasses on the bridge of his nose, he could see everything. But all he had left was a pair of eyes, a few feet above the ground, floating on a dirty street full of parked cars.
"Take off." Ron's voice said to his right. The ground and the filthy buildings on both sides sank and were out of sight for a moment. The car rose higher and higher, and in a few seconds, the whole city of London was beneath them, smoky and faintly shining. Suddenly, with a pop, the car, Harry, and Ron reappeared. "Ahh," Ron said, stabbing the stealth booster, "there's something wrong with this switch—"
"I'll take a look." Augustus lost a fix as before, and the switch was instantly restarted.
Together, they slammed that button. The car vanished, but soon flickered again. "Sit down!" Ron shouted, slammed on the gas, and they shot straight into the low-altitude cotton wool clouds, everything dimming and blurring. "What now?" Harry asked, the clouds coming in from all sides made him feel a little dazzled.
"We need to see the train to know which way to go." Augustus said to Ron, who was driving in the front seat.
"Or go down—quickly—"
They descended back below the clouds, twisted their bodies and squinted to search for the ground.
"See!" Harry shouted, "Right ahead—there!"
The Hogwarts Express sped like a red snake beneath them.
"Due north," Ron said to the compass on the dashboard, "well, we'll just have to come down and have a look every half hour." Sit down" the car scurried into the clouds. A minute later, they were rushing into the dazzling sunlight.
This is another world. The wheels flew through the soft sea of clouds, and under the dazzling white sun, the sky was bright and blue, boundless.
"Now we just have to watch out for the planes." Ron said.
It was as if they had entered a mythical dream. Harry thought it was the best way to travel: sitting in a sun-drenched car, navigating swirling, Tallinn-like white clouds, with a large bag of toffee under the dashboard, and imagining the jealous expressions on Fred and George's faces as they magically descended from the sky and landed smoothly on the large lawn in front of Hogwarts Castle.
From time to time, clouds floated over Augustus' clothes, the blazing sunlight shone through the sunroof on Augustus's long golden hair, and the colorful light shimmered through the windows between the black robes, and the sky and clouds side by side, everything was like a long-rehearsed sky ballet.
