In the latest issue of the "Rookie Voice Actor Guide", we will introduce Sayaka Suwa, who has performed well in works such as "The Mystery of the Devil" (Higashi Rabbit Kakusai) and "If You Break Her Flag" (Ninja Hayashi Ruri).

Q: When Miss Suwa first debuted, did you have any memorable acting works?

Suwa: The first time I played a major role in an anime was during the time of "Superdrive Spiral Jeter". At that time, the lineup that performed with me was luxurious, Miss Marina Inoue, Miss Rie Tanaka, and Mr. Yoji Nakata...... I was surrounded by these big names. Since I have no experience and am not used to recording, it is enough to be happy to be able to get a character with a name in such a work.

Q: Kono, which you voiced in your work, has a bit of an adult's maturity in terms of setting.

Suwa: Yes. It's the first major work, but it's a big sister character who is older than me, so I'm worried and think, "What should I do?" However, the seniors around me were kind enough to help me and told me, "Even if you fail, it's okay." "In the beginning, I was nervous about recording, but I found that people were really gentle. And this work has a long broadcast cycle, and I really learned a lot in it, and I feel so good to be able to meet such a warm environment on the set of the first important work. Like everyone else, I want to create an atmosphere that is easy for juniors to let go of when they encounter difficulties. From that point on, that's what I'm going to work towards.

Q: In the TV anime "Devil's Mystery", Miss Suwa began to perform with the junior voice actors.

Suwa: That's right! In terms of age, Yuka-chan Otsubo should be the youngest, right? Also, many people made their voice actor debut through the work "Devil's Mystery", so I feel that there is a feeling between them that "Let's work together!" "Let's experience the first experience together and learn from each other!" feelings.

Q: What was the atmosphere like at the dubbing scene?

Suwa: Basically, there are girls of the same age, so even though it's not a girls' high school, it still makes us feel like they're in the same class (laughs). Except for Xiaoqing of the black group, the other 12 people are all assassins, and fierce battles broke out in the work. However, the recording scene itself was very flat. Despite the large number of people, it doesn't seem to be very noisy, should I say that everyone is more leisurely? Anyway, everyone has their own rhythm to the conversation. And when recording and resting, everyone also seems to be relaxed.

Q: How did Miss Suwa feel about being a first-time starring role?

Suwa: This is the first time in my life that I have been the voice of the main character, so I have both ideas and pressure, but the strongest thought in my heart is: no matter so much, let's face the East Rabbit Horn head-on, and then perform. And the fact that I was able to perform in this style is inseparable from the gentle attitude of the people around me. For example, Miss Akomi Asakura, Miss Aimi Numakura, etc. In addition, the seniors of the office also work together, so I feel very relieved. Everyone supported me and watched me.

Q: In addition, the relationship between Higashi Rabbit Horn and another protagonist, Haru Ichinose, is also something that people have to pay attention to!

Suwa: Rabbit Horn and Haru are in a relationship of mutual support. Since I'm going to face the rabbit horn head-on, it's only natural that Kanemotoshouko-chan, who dubbed Haru, occupies a very important weight! In the rivalry between the two, I will always be guided by Suko-chan, right? I established a character image like "Koharu voiced by Shouko-chan" in my mind, and then I felt in my heart "If Koharu does this, then how will the rabbit horns respond". Rabbit Horn fell in love with Xiaoqing at first sight, and because I maintained a synchronous relationship with Rabbit Horn, I felt the same way about Xiaoqing. After all, Xiaoqing is a character who makes people want to protect (laughs).

Q: That is, it resonates with the mood of the rabbit horns.

Suwa: Yes. Through the plot, I feel like I'm getting stronger with the rabbit horns. In the beginning, since Rabbithorn is an elite character among assassins, I wanted to play her cool and handsome! However, I'm not used to dubbing action scenes, so there are always some weak spots on the language table, which makes me wonder: doesn't it sound strong enough? However, at that time, the staff said, "Although Rabbit Horn is very good at fighting, it is also easy to go with the flow, which reflects the fragility of the heart." We chose Miss Suwa because you can play both roles. So be confident! "So I felt relaxed.

Q: So, you also starred in the TV anime "Life" Emmi-chan Suzuki, what kind of role is this?

Suwa: Emi-chan is a stupid kid who is good at sports (laughs). It's the opposite of the rabbit horns, which are completely complete and complete (laughs)! In short, she has extraordinary motor nerves, surpassing ordinary people, and if you describe it as an animal, she should be considered a monkey (laughs). She uses intuition to do things, and she is a very frank girl. How to describe it, it should be a stupid person who can't be hated, or stupid enough to be cute (laughs). This little fool deserves our love (laughs).

Q: If Emi were to enter the black team of "Demon Mystery", she would definitely be the first to be targeted for her life, right? (laughs)

Suwa: That's the case (laughs). Because this is a type that doesn't know how to read words and colors, it should make the rabbit horns feel uncomfortable (laughs).

Q: You're hosting a show called "諏訪彩花のざっくば☆らん", and in terms of timing, it should be right after ""Devil's Mystery" Broadcast ~Black Group Communication~".

Suwa: During the broadcast of "Devil's Mystery", I really got a lot of experience from a lot of people who took care of me...... And it was in this that I established my own persona...... I was surprised to be labeled as a "scrap" product...... (laughs)

Q: Don't you feel reluctant?

Suwa: Oh, no, I think everyone has a kind of love...... Let's make fun of it. So on the other hand, I should say thank you to them (laughs).

Q: In this way, Miss Suwa has established her own persona. And bring this personality into "諏訪彩花のざっくば☆らん"?

Suwa: Ah, that's possible. I basically starred in "諏訪彩花のざっくば☆らん", and I chatted vigorously. Sometimes I think "it's too much to say" (laughs). Also, every time I say something, the people around me say, "It's in Suwa again." The so-called "諏訪る" is also a term invented by everyone during the broadcast of "Devil's Mystery" because I made the atmosphere very strange...... I have absolutely no intention of doing so! I don't want to use that attitude, huh...... This kind of thing happens to everyone once in a while.

Q: Speaking of which, have you cultivated any hobbies outside of work lately?

Suwa: Recent ...... I read some manga about cooking. Like "花のずぼら飯" and the like。 This is a manga about finding food to eat on the Internet. Then I got hungry when I looked at it (laughs), so I had an appetite...... That's pretty much it (laughs). After all, the characters in the manga look like they're eating with relish (laughs). Also, there are some restaurants and food in the manga that are stored in reality, so I'm thinking about trying them next time!

Q: Finally, tell us about your future goals as a voice actor?

Suwa: To be honest, I don't have a clear goal at the moment, and I don't know exactly what I want to be. Now, no matter what, I hope to be able to challenge a lot of things. I've always loved singing, so I wanted to be a voice actor who was good at singing. In addition, just like today's photo interview and hosting the broadcast, I hope that I will be able to master all aspects of expressive ability. My own voice isn't very distinctive. Therefore, it is necessary to make full use of your strengths and become a voice actor who can play various types of roles such as cheerful characters, cold characters, and boys!
