Every year, a large number of newcomers emerge in the Japanese voice actor industry, and for this reason, the Japanese media specially produced a program called "New Voice Actor Illustrated Guide". The show interviews and reports on some of the most promising rookie voice actors, to understand the behind-the-scenes stories of their entry into the industry, and their prospects for the future. In the latest issue of the "Rookie Voice Actor Guide", we will introduce those who have appeared in "Assassination Classroom" (Nagisa Shiota), "Girl and Chariot" (Miho Nishizumi), "Heartbeat! Works such as the Beautiful Girl of Light (Yotsuha Yusui) and "Moe Invader OUTBREAKCOMPANY" (Petlaka Ann Erdant III) have excellent performances of the Origami dance.

Q: Mai Takigami will play the role of Xiao Baa in the TV anime "Ganji Soul", which will be broadcast in April, so what kind of character is this?

Mishikami: This is one of the twelve members who appear in the story, and although it is a character of the sheep god type, including the appearance, I always feel that this character gives people a very gentle feeling. I don't know why, but her costume is actually a nurse's uniform (laughs). Many of the other Ganzhi gods belong to children with strong personalities and are always noisy, so in comparison, Xiaoba belongs to a very calm child. This kind of healing character gives people the feeling of "I'm here to heal everyone's mind and body".

Q: So how did you behave when you starred in Xiao Baa?

Kushikami: The sound director gave me the freedom to perform. In the plot where she has a lot of scenes, not only herself, but also seems to involve the characters around her, which feels lively. There are many characters in this work, and each one has a distinct personality. There are also a lot of episodes where everyone appears, so I thought I would make the whole performance feel like it's lively.

Q: After all, the goal of this work is to "become the noisiest anime in Japan" (laughs), and I also watched the NICONICO live show "Kanji~ク!" and "えとたまらじおソルラルくれにゃ!?", I feel that the voice actors led by the voice actor of the protagonist Xiao Meow, Miss Rii Murakawa, are very lively. Looks like the same is true for dubbing, ......?

渕上:The ...... It's the same (laughs). Everyone will play tricks on the pear bear (laughs). "Dry Branch Soul" is a story with Xiao Meow's growth as the core, and in the face of Xiao Meow's messy speech, Yue (voice actor: Shimono Hong) will give complaints. And Riki Bear and Mr. Shimono themselves look like the three-dimensional version of Komeow and Yue (laughs). In short, Mr. Shimono always complains in the face of the elevated pear clothes and bullies her...... It's a scene where you can't help but smile.

Q: What will the other 12 do at this time......

Mishigami: Seniors like Kojiu (voice actor: Sayaka Ohara) and Xiao Scare (voice actor: Ikutenme Hitomi) always look at our noise gently (laughs). I feel that in terms of the relationship between the plot, the scene is also 100% restored (laughs). I'm not the type to scream at the scene, so I always look at it from a distance, thinking, "Ah~ everyone is happy" (laughs).

Q: You can say that this is the characteristic of the voice scene where there are many women, right?

Igami: People give each other small gifts, and it's always a great thing. Since it's twelve, I'm going to get a "yokan" or something like that. I am very touched every time!

Q: It's very delicate (laughs). Speaking of which, the ending song "Bluemoment" is sung by Xiao Meow with the twelve members, so what type of song is this?

Kushikami: I think people might think it's a loud and very popular song. However, it's actually a very quiet tune. It gives the effect of feeling warm inside. Although the plot is a funny theme and the atmosphere is warm, in essence, you can also feel the serious intentions of the characters and the growth of Xiao Meow through the ending song.

Q: Is there any content in the story that reflects the change in Xiaoba's mood?

Shakigami: Baa...... In fact, from the middle of the plot, the impression she gives people has changed completely. At first, she was a gentle and lovely girl...... Anyway, I didn't think she was like that at first (laughs). I guess it's not reflected in the character design (laughs).

Q: (laughs). So, please say a few words to the viewers who are looking forward to the TV broadcast!

Mishikami: The first episode is very hilarious overall, and it may make people feel "What the hell is this!" From the second episode onwards, it gradually changed to a change in everyone's relationship and mood. Just looking at the work makes you feel happy, and in short, there is a very relaxed atmosphere! There are a lot of characters in each episode, so it's fun to find a character you like and watch it as a center.

Q: Could you please tell us about your other works? You've starred in many, many works before that, so which one is a turning point for Ms. Oshigami?

Kugami: This must be "The Girl and the Chariot"! At first, I had never played a "cute and simple girl" like Miho Nishizumi, so I wondered if my voice could continue to be competent for this role.

Q: How did you feel after the actual performance?

Miho thinks that she can't achieve the battle lane...... However, I saw the appearance of my companions, and finally achieved growth. I was very uneasy at first, but I guess I grew up naturally because of the gentle care of my predecessors. To be able to play a role in his true colors, and now in that sense, it's really nice to meet this work.

Q: Since the start of this work, the evaluation of the work has also risen rapidly. Did you feel this phenomenon first-hand during your performances?

Mishikami: Yes, it's an incredible feeling. I think life is always full of variables (laughs).

Q: Do you enjoy the feeling of slowly becoming lively?

Kushigami: I myself wasn't interested in tanks at first. At the time of the audition, the picture was still just an uncolored sketch, so I just watched the live broadcast with the mentality of an audience. But it turned out that the tank was very handsome. And it's a great pleasure to be able to enjoy the work in the same mood as everyone else.

Q: You've been doing a lot of singing work lately. For example, on March 22, the birth group · Trident (Mai Odori, Aimi Numakura, Hibiki Yamamura) had their first concert. So what can we expect?

Mishikami: It's the first time I've held an exclusive concert as a work team, so I'm looking forward to it. And the responsibility is heavier than before, so it's absolutely important to make everyone happy. The preparation is intense, there are many things that must be remembered, but very challenging and valuable.

Q: In addition, the songs included in the mini album "BlueSnow" will also be announced at the concert, right? Can we expect this?

Yugami: Yes. The song will be announced for the first time and will be accompanied by a dance, so be sure to look forward to it. Of course, the songs I sang before, such as "ブルー·フィールド" and "PurestBlue", should still bring you a new feeling if you perform them at the concert.

Q: Finally, if you want to go in any direction as a voice actor, would you like to go in any direction?

Mishikami: After getting a lot of work as a voice actor, I think I still like voicing anime characters the most. So it would be nice if I could meet more characters in the future~ Recently, I played the boy Nagisa-kun in "Assassination Classroom", and I want to try a bad role in the next step (laughs). I want to be an actor who can play perfectly no matter what role I face.
