The successful development of CT is hailed as another major breakthrough in radiology after Roentgen's discovery of X-rays in 1895.

However, China's CT market has been staging a "Romance of the Four Kingdoms" - six companies from the United States CE, Germany Tomenzi, the Netherlands Philip, Japan Toshin, Japan Shimadzu and Japan Hitachi monopolized this huge market.

Three years ago, several hospitals, including Andong Central Hospital, imported three CT machines, each costing about $500,000. However, the medical equipment purchased with a huge amount of money was not successfully commissioned and installed at all. The three CTs that spent a lot of foreign exchange were all paralyzed, which attracted a lot of media attention, as the charter asked, "Science and Technology Daily" once published a long report on "The Beginning and End of the CT Machine Incident", comparing CT to a vegetative person!

After the "CT incident" caused a strong social repercussion, the Andong Municipal Health Bureau implemented public bidding and limited-time contracting, and posted a "red list of talents" to the outside world.

With their comprehensive knowledge of computers, electronics, and machinery, the CT scan of Andong Central Hospital was not only resurrected after about 80 days, but also greatly improved the performance and reliability of the whole machine. Since then, they have traveled all over the country to bring several paralyzed CTs back to life.

This was a proud stroke of the School of Engineering, and Dean Gao immediately asked the driver to invite the two teachers and the person in charge of the CT machine research project to come and sit together.

Mr. Zheng is very young and seems to rarely come into contact with such occasions, which seems to be a little restrained, but when he mentions the CT machine, it is like a different person, and he recalls excitedly: "The result of rebirth of several paralyzed CT scans is quite encouraging to everyone. At that time, some people proposed that only the United States, Germany, the Netherlands and Japan in the world can produce CT, can we Chinese use our own CT?

Some people also think that the research and development of domestic CT is a fantasy, the lessons of the past are there, because they are not willing to be controlled by others in the CT project, in 87 years, the six national ministries and commissions have jointly established a project, invested 130 million yuan, and organized more than 2,000 people from 44 institutes across the country to carry out 'China Type I CT research', but this project was disgraced last year.

In terms of investment in funds, talents and equipment, we must not be able to compare with the 'China Type I CT research', and no one has come up with it, so our pressure can be imagined. Some even said that if we could figure it out, he would crawl out of school. In June last year, the leaders of the hospital finally supported our idea, set up a CT project team, and provided funds for us to focus on tackling key problems. ”

On this one issue, our project team held back for two or three months, as if it had hit a hard wall......"

If the history has not changed, in more than ten years, they will successively develop dozens of products with China's independent intellectual property rights, such as nuclear magnetic resonance instrument, digital X-ray machine, color ultrasound and other three systems covering diagnostic imaging solutions, routine examination solutions and tumor solutions, and become the only construction support unit of the National Digital Medical Imaging Equipment Engineering Technology Research Center.

It's a pity that the mass production of CT machine is also a huge system project!

The initial cost and industrialization process require a large amount of capital investment, the specific implementation of the production process, and the supporting management system required for large-scale production, which are not small obstacles, which are obviously difficult to solve by relying on the school system. It wasn't until after the listing of Ansoft Group that there were enough funds to turn all this into reality.

For more than ten years, the market has long been occupied by the United States CE and Germany's Oriental, when the time is pushed to the market of the hospital is not bad at all, can purchase imported will never buy domestic ones.

Anton Institute of Technology and Anton Soft do all this, as they say, "learn from Lei Feng". In addition to adding more technical gold to the words "Made in China", it did not let the vast majority of Chinese use China's CT.

The most common question they will ask is who else has bought your products and why other hospitals choose to import equipment? And the sales staff of GE and Siemens will hardly receive this kind of treatment. ”

The CT project is in the stage of tackling key problems, and it is still a question whether it can be done and whether it can be put into production after it is done. Even if it can be made and put into production smoothly, it will take at least five or six years.

In BJ, in Hujiang, in Guangdu, and all over the world, they are establishing R&D cooperation bases with major hospitals. On the surface, it is to bring more scientific research opportunities to the hospital, so as to obtain the favor of the hospital for the product, but in essence, it is to bind the hospital's future product selection through R&D cooperation, and at the same time obtain more medical information.

Ten or twenty years later, or even less than ten years, domestic medical personnel will imperceptibly accept everything they have instilled, and once the Chinese equipment does not match its settings, doctors will think that it is a product quality problem.
