At the end of May 2014, at the Shanghai Animation and Game Creation Exchange Exhibition held in the magic capital, AnimeparTy2nd-魄-, abbreviated as AT02, the organizer invited some famous and even top industry creators at home and abroad. The two groups of guests who were fortunate to be interviewed by the Evil Society this time are well-known among domestic enthusiasts. In this article, we interviewed Mr. Chiyomaru Shikura, the CEO of MAGES, and Afilia Saga, the maid idol group he founded.
If you are not very familiar with MAGES. Co., Ltd., then talk about its predecessor, 5pb., or trace back to the KID company, which has a lot of karma and has now collapsed, you can list a bunch of such things as "Autumn Memories", "Ever17", "Never7", "Remember11", and "Chaos; Head》、《Steins; Gate》、《ROBOTICS; NOTES" and other works that are also familiar among Chinese AVG lovers.
Here's a transcript of our interview with President Shikura and Afilia Saga:
Question 1: After a hard show, President Shikura, are you the first to come to Shanghai from AfiliaSaga? What is your impression of Shanghai?
AfiliaSaga: The fans in Shanghai are very enthusiastic and have been cheering us on during the show. We are very happy.
Shikura: It's my first time in Shanghai. It's more than I imagined, and I'm relieved. I really hope that everyone can be a house.
Question 2: As a music producer, President Shikura, please tell us about how you started.
Shikura: When I first started designing game programs in elementary school, I asked my parents to borrow a computer, so I think that's when I started designing game programs. This led to the right path in life.
Question 3: The music of the "Autumn Memories" series is handled by President Shikura, what kind of existence does "Autumn Memories" seem to you? In addition, in the "Autumn Memories" series, only "Autumn Zhi Memories 6" has not been released in Chinese, will it consider a Chinese version?
Shikura: First of all, I had never been exposed to Bishoujo games, but I was introduced to this field for the first time through the work "Memories of Autumn". Since then, it has slowly developed towards the beautiful girl department and the cute game. It can be said that it was the inspiration for me to create a cute game series.
In addition, the "Autumn Memories" series also hopes to be introduced to China, and I don't like to drag mud and water and give up halfway. I'll try to make it happen.
Question 4: I would like to ask AfiliaSaga about your hobbies and what do you do during your break?
Afiliasage: We have a coffee shop, and when we don't have live events, we go back to our respective coffee shops and communicate with customers.
We introduce this kind of school lunch in the school under the AfiliaSage Kingdom established by President Shikura. In addition, there are currently 6 stores in Japan, and we are considering whether to expand overseas. For example, opening a store in Shanghai.
Is there a maid shop in Shanghai? Ah, is there one?
Shikura: Let's open it!
Q5: Will you consider touring overseas in the future?
Afiliasage: It's a pleasure to invite us to Shanghai for an anime-related exchange event, and it's a pleasure to be welcomed by Shanghai fans. I hope that with your support, and with the help of President Shikura's strength, we will be able to pass on our magic to all of you in Shanghai once again.
Question 6: Pilgrimage to holy sites is also very popular in China. Many fans will also make a special trip to Japan to participate in events, such as the previous "Autumn Memories" series of Enoden's stamp, and the collaboration event with the Akihabara Kaikan. Will you consider holding similar events in cooperation with local governments in the future?
Shikura: I don't think this kind of event is limited to Japan, but it is possible in Shanghai, for example. For example, the protagonist leaves Japan and goes overseas, and Shanghai is a metropolis, so it is entirely possible to develop in Shanghai.
I was very impressed when I came to Shanghai this time. In addition, the main reason for the visit to the holy place is that the fans are self-developed, and as a company, it is not very fixed to specify where and where the holy place is. It mainly depends on the opinion of the fans.
Question 7: Please give a message to the fans
Afiliasage: I'm very happy to be in Shanghai this time, and I see that Japanese anime, games, songs, etc. can be accepted and loved by so many fans. We also love anime, so we will also work hard to become an idol that everyone will love and share the joy of anime with everyone.
I hope to come to Shanghai again, please support us.
Shikura: When I came to Shanghai this time, I felt the enthusiasm of the fans, which ignited my passion for creation again. When I go back, I will put this enthusiasm into my creation, and thank all the fans who have supported me with better works. Thank you for your support.
