Chapter 384: Crossing the Night in the Vast Expanse
Staying in Jardi Mui Ne, you can turn right into the rolling sea when you go out, and there are resort hotels along the coast, and beach chairs are placed on the seaside, so that guests can lie on it and bask in the sun with nothing to do, and watch the sea in a daze, which is what Europeans and Americans love to do.
We went to the street to eat a bowl of Vietnamese noodles back, already hot and dry mouth, so we ran to the hotel's sea bar, ordered a cup of passion fruit juice to drink, a sip of sour tooth juice just into the throat, suddenly saw a string of round baskets on the sea, "suddenly" opened, the first basket was loaded with a motor, the back basket was pulled up with a rope, one after another, in the basket sat a dark-skinned Vietnamese man, smoking with his teeth, very joyful from the sea dangling, let us laugh, this picture, It's so cartoonish!
This is Mui Ne's unique fisherman's boat, the "Pig Blossom Boat", which is used for offshore fishing, or for carrying the catch back and forth from the big boat to the shore after the large fishing boat docks at the port.
[Red Beach]
We rented a motorcycle from a motorcycle shop on the street for $5 and started our "self-driving" exploration of Mui Ne.
Red Beach, perhaps thousands of years ago, was a stretch of sand washed by the sea day and night, but due to geological evolution, it has been pushed up into a lonely sand dune, far away from the sea, but can no longer be approached.
When we rode our motorcycles here, it was just the sun going down, mixed with the crowd of tourists to climb up, the fine sand under our feet stepped on a footprint, but it was difficult, occasionally a gust of wind blew, raising the wind and sand in the sky, and we had to hurry up to protect the camera.
Staggering to the top of the red sand dunes, the sunset has slowly slid down, and the golden light dyes the rolling red sand beach more and more vividly, giving the illusion of being in the desert. In fact, not far behind you is the edge of the sandy beach, where are lush forests, and across the road below the beach are scattered villages and the turquoise sea.
When the people on the red sand beach were still reluctant, we rode our motorcycles and walked back, and in a blink of an eye, it was dark.
Except for the dim street lights on the road, the forked road leading to both sides was all pitch black, and we got lost.
After running back and forth a few times, we finally found the familiar street, which was the second time we got lost after countless walks. The first time was during the torrential rain in Da Lat, Vietnam.
[Fairy Creek]
Fairy Creek is actually hidden on that long street on Mui Ne Central Beach.
Riding a motorcycle, looking for road signs all the way, I finally found that under the most inconspicuous bridge, is the entrance to Fairy Creek.
Take off your shoes, pull up your trousers, and step into the gurgling red water, the shallow water is not up to your ankles, and the feeling of your feet is stepping on fine mud and sand, and the river is covered with bushes and grass on both sides, with a few ducks foraging for food, and dragonflies flying. Walking slowly, people kept passing by, and gradually, high red hills appeared on both sides of the riverbank, mixed with white limestone soil, after wind and rain, condensed into a miniature karst landform in the shape of a hanging column.
Tracing the river forward, the red bank dam, the white soil pillars, the green plants, the shallow water flowing gently under the feet, the tourists in twos and threes, occasionally there is a hut with a fence by the river, which is a coffee shop opened by the locals, you can order a cup of coffee, you can also buy a coconut and drink it. Walking in the red fairy stream, I wonder what kind of imagination did the person who came up with this name have in the first place?
[Mui Ne Fishing Village]
If the red and white sand beach Fairy Creek is just a pre-dinner snack in Mui Ne,
Then Mui Ne fishing village and fish market are a big meal not to be missed.
In the half-moon-shaped bay of the fishing village, there are dense fishing boats of all sizes, the pigs and dill boats are swaying back and forth, the fishermen's children are playing in the seawater, and the fishermen on the beach are busy, constantly cleaning, sorting, weighing the fish and shrimp, and then immediately transporting the fish away by motorcycle; It is said that every morning there is a lively fish market. Some fishermen sitting in pig boats are mending their nets with their hands, and women are wearing pointed hats and wrapping themselves tightly in turbans to protect themselves from the scorching sun.
Walking into the alleys of the fishing village, this is where the old man and the children gather, the children who are not afraid of life jump around us, ghost, scatter and come, the old man laughs and watches them, and does not forget to sell us the basket of longan in front of her.
In the village fish market, a large number of women sit together, each with a bucket of cuttlefish in front of them, immersed in cleaning, sorting and weighing.
Walk through the fishing village, walk to the beach full of pig and dill boats, and be surprised to find that the fishermen discard garbage, rotten fish and shrimp at will, and the domestic sewage flowing out of the village has turned a large area of the beach into a dirty black color.
[bay glow]
Flee from the filthy fishing village in a hurry,
Sitting on the high bay embankment,
Enjoy the cool evening breeze of the day.
The sunset gradually turned red in the sea and the sky,
The dense fishing boats invariably flashed their fishing lights,
A pig boat rocked in the twilight,
Waves of glittering waves.
Fishing village at dusk, sunset in the bay,
It is the most amorous moment of Mui Ne,
That kind of beauty can't be replaced.
