Biography of Shu and Liu Chan

Liu Chan (207-271), also known as the queen master, the character heir, nicknamed Adou. The last emperor of Shu Han during the Three Kingdoms period (reigned 223-263), the son of Liu Bei, Emperor Zhaolie of the Han Dynasty, and his mother was Empress Gan of Zhaolie.

Liu Chan was born in Jingzhou, suffered many times when he was a child, fortunately the general Zhao Yun rescued him twice, Liu Bei settled Yizhou and entered Shu, and was established as the prince after the establishment of Shu Han.

In the third year of Zhangwu of the Shu Han Dynasty (223 years), he succeeded to the throne as the emperor, changed the Yuan Jianxing, worshiped Zhuge Liang as his father, and supported his Northern Expedition, and later supported Jiang Wei's Northern Expedition, and favored Huang Hao in the later period, causing the Shu Han to gradually weaken.

In the sixth year of Jingyao (263), Wei entered Deng Ai from Yinping, Ke Mianzhu, killed Zhuge Zhan's father and son, and Liu Chan surrendered.

After the fall of Shu Han, Liu Chan and some Shu Han ministers were moved to Luoyang to live, and were named Anle Gong, and died in Luoyang in the seventh year of the Western Jin Dynasty (271) at the age of 64.

Nicknamed Sigong. In the last years of the Western Jin Dynasty, after Liu Yuan's uprising, he posthumously called Liu Chan the emperor of filial piety.
