Biography of Wei Xiahou Shangxuan
Xiahou Shang (?) —226), a native of Peiguo County (now Bozhou, Anhui). [1] During the Three Kingdoms period, he was a famous general of Cao Wei and the nephew of Xiahou Yuan, the general of the expedition to the west.
Cao Cao pacified Jizhou, thinking that the military Sima and the five senses would be literary, moved to the Yellow Gate, followed Cao Zhang's expedition to Wuhuan, and returned victorious.
He was close and friendly with Emperor Wen of Wei, Cao Pi, thought that he was the general of the expedition to the south, led the history of Jingzhou Thorn, the false festival, and the capital supervised the military of the south, attacked the Shangyong of Shu, pacified the three counties and nine counties, and was promoted to the general of the expedition to the south; Jiangling defeated the Wu general Zhuge Jin, promoted to Jingzhou Mu, and was named the Marquis of Changling.

Later, he let the general of Zhengxi and Cao Shuang plan the battle of Luogu, which was a big disappointment. After the Gaopingling Incident, he was deprived of military rights and entered the dynasty to serve as Dahonglu and Taichang.
In the sixth year of Jiaping (254), Zhongshu ordered Li Feng and his relative Zhang Ji to plot to kill the general Sima Shi, and replace him with Xiahou Xuan.
But the conspiracy was leaked, and Xiahou Xuan was killed by Sima Shi and wiped out the three clans. When he was dying, his face still did not change, and he was calmly tortured at the age of forty-six.
