Chapter 1234: Massacre
The situation was similar to what was expected, the government troops suddenly assembled and there was indeed an important operation, eight trucks lined up and parked on the side of the road at the entrance of the barracks, and a guy who looked like an officer was standing at the front of the queue to give a lecture, too far away to hear what was said, but it was obvious from his demeanor that the commander was very authoritative in the barracks, and should be the commander of this army.
After about three minutes, the soldiers suddenly stood up straight and didn't know what to shout, and then quickly took action, some of them ran to the gate of the barracks and got into the trucks, and the other part drove other military vehicles parked in the barracks, among which there were two infantry combat vehicles, and the rest were pickup trucks with heavy machine guns installed on the vehicles, and the officer got into a military Land Rover.
"That guy looks like he's not a small official!" Eric muttered to himself.
"Why?" I didn't understand what he meant, since I arrived in Libya, I haven't really fought against the government forces, and I don't know much about the equipment of their regular army.
"There are few officers who can sit on the Land Rover in Libya, if you look closely, it is the latest military Land Rover of the British military, the safety factor is very high, ordinary sniper rifles can't penetrate it, and the bulletproof effect is comparable to that of an armored vehicle." Eric gestured to the brand new Land Rover.
I don't have any idea about this, because we are exposed to the world's top equipment, and the military vehicles used are also armored Humvees of the US military, and this kind of military Land Rover has been seen many times on the battlefield in Afghanistan, so I didn't pay much attention to it.
"How did they get it?" I'm a little curious, most of the armored vehicles and tanks they use are outdated equipment from Russia and the United States, and it's not so easy to get hold of the latest military vehicles like this.
"Since there is a war, there are naturally arms dealers to make a fortune, and as long as there is money, those guys can even get their hands on nuclear warheads."
I chuckled and nodded, Eric is right, we have a lot of equipment that even the US special forces have not seen, the doctor developed it and gave it to us first, of course, the price is also expensive, although he is also working for the US government, but those new equipment to the US military, no one pays for it, not even the doctor, let alone those arms dealers who make a living from it.
At this moment, the convoy moved slowly, counting about twenty military vehicles, lined up in a long line, and slowly drove onto the road, looking at the direction they left, it was heading for Benghazi.
When the convoy disappeared into the distance, I took a telescope to take a closer look at the barracks, there were no more than fifty soldiers left inside, many sentry posts were withdrawn, and even the patrol team was gone, only two people remained at the door, but they were not as dedicated as before, and they were obviously relaxed, holding AKs and gathering together to smoke and chat.
The commander and the large army are gone, no one cares about them, so naturally they scattered, there is no better opportunity than now, I turned my head to look at Eric, and said, "The plan remains the same, action." ”
With that, the two of us got up and took advantage of the darkness to approach the camp below, which was not built in the city of Briga, but in a wilderness on the side of the road outside the city, next to the city, with barbed wire on all sides.
Eric and I had planned to cut through the barbed wire fence at the weakest point of the guards due south, but now we changed our minds and lunged straight at the two sentries at the door.
Taking advantage of the darkness of the night, the two of us lurked silently on both sides of the door, one on the left and one on the right, without any cover in the wilderness, we could only lie on the ground and move forward slowly.
The two sentinels had not yet felt the proximity of death, and climbed to a position less than five meters from the door with the barbed wire, and the sound of their conversation and laughter was clearly heard, without noticing the murderous aura surging in the darkness.
I slowly pulled out my thorn and looked through the barbed wire fence into the barracks, many of the barracks were lit up, and the noise of soldiers could be heard from inside, but no one paid attention to the door.
I blew lightly into the radio, then suddenly got up, and swooped down on an arrow, as fast as it was, but in the blink of an eye, the cold light flashed in the night, and with a soft pop, the stab pierced through the sentry's throat, the tip of the knife stabbed out of the back of the neck, and blood gushed out like a fountain along the blood trough, the guy stared at me with wide eyes, opened his mouth slightly, and a gurgling sound came from his throat, and I sneered and pulled out the spur, leaving a clear transparent hole in his neck.
I took a step back, dodging the splatters of blood, and looked up to see that the other guy had been cut off by Eric covering his mouth almost at the same time.
The two of us looked at each other and nodded, dragged their bodies behind the door, quickly changed into their clothes, and then swaggered into the barracks, and after entering, went straight to a row of warehouses located behind the camp.
When I got to the door, I looked around, and strange to say, during the day, it was heavily guarded like the White House, with three steps, one post, five steps, and one sentry, and now I couldn't even see a ghost.
I turned my head to look at Eric, then nodded, and the two of us began to search for the location of the munitions in these warehouses, one left and one right.
The door to the warehouse was unlocked, so it opened easily, and I stood in the doorway and looked around, making sure there was no one, and dodged in.
When I closed the door and turned to look, I froze in place, finally understanding why the soldiers were so relaxed, and why there were no guards.
The entire warehouse was empty, with nothing but a few worn-out cardboard boxes, and I walked around it in surprise that the government forces had already carried all the supplies.
"Hey, Assassin, guess what I saw?" Eric's teasing voice came over the radio.
"I guess you didn't see anything!" I pressed the microphone in a helpless tone.
"Yes, it seems that the situation on your side is similar to mine, we have been tricked." Eric said disappointed.
"I should have thought of it a long time ago, I could see it from the relaxed faces of those soldiers!" I laughed.
"It's a pity that we found out too late, and we were busy for a day and a night." Eric said.
"In my habit, I should go to them and ask for interest." I looked around and walked out, ready to take a look at the next warehouse.
"It's exactly what I want, and it's a good choice to put these explosives on the barracks." Eric didn't find the supplies and was ready to take people out.
As I spoke, I pushed open the door of the second warehouse, and the result was the same as before, all the supplies in the warehouse were gone, not to mention the munitions, and the face towel was not found, and Eric came out of it and ran back from the other side.
"How? Go to their barracks? Eric pointed to the spot where the lights were on in front of him.
"Since it is an empty camp, it happens to be their grave, and not a single living person will be left!" I sneered, although this did not play any role in the war in Benghazi, but at least I could vent my evil anger, and after waiting for a day and a night, if I didn't gain anything, wouldn't it be too bad.
"Hehe, it's going to be a massacre!" Eric's grim smile gave me goosebumps, and sure enough, mercenaries have been a little perverted for a long time.
