Chapter 1235: Fierce Battle
In the middle of the night, two black shadows approached the lighted barracks silently like ghosts walking in the wilderness, with the shadow of death, and faintly heard the rough laughter of the soldiers coming from inside, and these poor creatures had not yet noticed the coming of death.
Squatting under the window of the wooden barracks, holding two offensive grenades in my hands, I looked up slightly and looked in the corner of the window, a group of shirtless men were sitting or standing, chatting in the room, I turned my head to look at Eric, who had moved to the door of another barracks.
He shook his hand at me, I nodded, pulled off the grenade ring and threw it down the window for three seconds, then turned around and ran away.
Two seconds later, there were two loud bangs in the barracks, a puff of black smoke poured out of the window, and then there was a violent explosion on Eric's side, and there was no need to go inside to see, in the closed room, the offensive grenade was powerful enough to tear everyone apart.
There were more than 50 government soldiers left in the barracks, divided into three barracks, and after killing these two, Eric and I rushed directly to the door of the third barracks, and threw the remaining six grenades out in one go.
The enemies inside rushed out with their guns when they heard the explosion, and they were hitting the grenade on the ground, and with a continuous explosion, more than a dozen people were blown into pieces along with the barracks, and three lucky companions were lucky enough to survive the shock wave of the explosion, but before they could get up from the ground, they were shot in the head by Eric, who rushed forward.
Turning back to the barracks that had begun to blow up, I pushed open the door and immediately felt a strong smell of burning, and when I looked around, there were pieces of meat and mutilated corpses all over the floor, and after walking around to make sure that I was not alive, I turned and walked out of the room.
At this moment, a gunshot rang out from another barracks, and I was shocked, and I suddenly turned my head and rushed over, and rushed into the room with an arrow to see that Eric was crouching in front of a corpse, the back of the guy's heart was pierced by bullets, and blood flowed down the floor to the door.
"What's going on?" I asked, exclaimed.
"Believe it, assassin, this guy survived, God must have blessed him." Eric said with a gun pointed at the corpse's head.
"It seems that God forbids it not very thoroughly!" I breathed a sigh of relief, and when I looked around, it was similar to the scene just now, with stumps and broken arms everywhere, and corpses with bloody flesh and blood lying on the ground.
"It's almost time, let's withdraw!" I shook my head and turned to leave the barracks.
As he left, Eric set fire to the camp and set it on fire, and the wooden barracks were on fire in a matter of moments, and it seemed that the government forces had to rebuild a supply depot.
When we arrived at the rendezvous point, Heidi had been waiting for a long time, got in the car and fled along the road.
"The operation was successful?" Heidi asked as she drove.
"Half the battle!" Eric replied with a smile as he sat in the back seat.
"What do you mean? I see you've burned down the camp! Heidi looked puzzled.
"It was just an empty camp, and the supplies were all gone." I looked out the window and said lightly.
Heidi nodded and didn't continue to ask, the car kept moving forward, about ten minutes away, suddenly a loud noise came from a distance, Heidi suddenly braked in a hurry, Eric and I were caught off guard and almost smashed the windshield and flew out, Eric fell directly from the back seat on the center console, his stomach glucked on the gear lever, and he grinned in pain.
"I swear I'll never be a woman's car again!" Eric grinned and slowly got up.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to!" Heidi shrugged, saying nicely but not apologetically, her eyes drawn to the distant explosion.
"Okay, I accept your apologies, but can you please sit in the co-pilot's seat?" Eric wasn't very happy with her attitude, his tone was a little stiff, and of course, he didn't really bother with her.
At that moment, there was another roar in the distance, and the flames rose into the sky, followed by the fierce gunfire, mixed with a series of explosions, which continued uninterrupted like bursting beans, and at least a few hundred people were listening to the sound, and they were fighting fiercely in the direction of Benghazi.
"Shall we go over?" Heidi turned to me and asked.
"Of course, if I'm not mistaken, the convoy carrying supplies has been ambushed, don't enter the battlefield first, and then see the situation from a distance when you get closer." I had a hunch that I might run into someone I knew if I went to join in the fun.
This premonition is not unfounded, to be able to bypass the vanguard of the government army, to the rear ambush supply vehicles, this kind of task must be completed by special forces, the rebel soldiers do not have this ability, and the fierce battle in the front may really be Caesar's brother.
Heidi nodded and restarted the car, turned off the lights, and slowly approached the location of the fierce battle along the road, when suddenly there was a roar of helicopters overhead, from far and near, and a moment later flew over our heads to the battlefield.
Then the aircraft cannon began to roar angrily, and a barrage of bullets rained down, sweeping the battlefield like a meteor landing, and in a moment the ground remembered two explosions, but the sound was less like a bomb, more like the roar of a detonating car.
"Flying eagles?" I watched the helicopter gunship make a graceful arc in the sky, and after running out of ammunition, dropped a dozen bombs and calmly left, I remembered the flying eagle guy and blurted out.
"What did you say?" Heidi thought she was talking to her.
"Oh, it's nothing, hurry up!" As I got closer to the battlefield, I found myself a little excited, even a little impatient.
"No problem!" Heidi answered, turned back to Eric and said, "I'm going to speed up, remember to hold on!" After saying that, he kicked the accelerator and rushed out.
Soon we were on the outskirts of the battlefield, and Heidi turned into the desert on the left side of the road, pulled away from the road, and found a low-lying place to stop the car and turn off the engine.
Before the car could stop steadily, I had already jumped out of the car with my M200 in my hand, and without even saying hello, I bent over and rushed straight to the battlefield.
Lying on a sand dune 500 meters away, not far away the flames were soaring, there were gunshots everywhere, bullets streaked through the bright light shuttled through the battlefield, I looked through the binoculars, as expected, it was indeed a convoy transporting supplies, eight trucks were parked on the road, five of them had been blown up, and the remaining three were also full of holes and could explode at any time, but those military vehicles were parked horizontally in the wilderness below the road, and they were not hit violently.
The other side's intention was obvious, that is, to destroy the supply vehicles, although the purpose was achieved, but more than 200 government soldiers used those military vehicles as a cover to launch a fierce counterattack on the ambush troops, the 25mm machine guns on the infantry vehicles clattered non-stop, and the vehicle-mounted machine guns on other pickup trucks also frantically spewed tongues of fire, and the powerful fire suppressed the opponent on the hill 200 meters away.
