Chapter 4 Ready-Made Teachers

Unlike last year, the first day of school in '91 was Monday.

After being frightened awake, Carl couldn't sleep.

At this point, the house-elves at the school hadn't even gotten out of bed, and breakfast was naturally not ready, so Carl just ran to the library to kill time.

It was also because it was so early that the library was quiet, and even Mrs. Pins, the caretaker, did not come, and only Karl sat alone in the reading room.

There was a pile of books in front of him, but he didn't open any of them, but sighed heavily.

He had taken all these books out of the forbidden area, but he could already recite them backwards.

- Including the forbidden area, the books in the Hogwarts library are no longer enough for him.

Of course, he couldn't have read all the books inside.

Hogwarts has a collection of tens of thousands of books, but just like the libraries of the Muggle world, it is impossible for all books to teach science, on the contrary, only a small percentage of them are actually taught.

In the wizarding world, only a small number of books in the Hogwarts library actually teach about magic, and more are biographies of celebrities, laws, politics, economics, history, and even literature in the wizarding world.

Even the books in the forbidden section have only a few books about magic, and many more books are about some of the secrets of the wizarding world.

Carl gets a lot of his information about vampires from here - the unconventional part.

In addition to this, Carl also found several small yellow books in a hidden corner of the forbidden area.

Although he didn't mean to.

The books in front of him were almost all the books on magic he could find in the forbidden section.

There may be a lot of fish that slip through the net, but those books are no longer known by the title alone, and it takes a long time to search.

And Carl had read each of these books no less than ten times.

There is only so much knowledge recorded in the book, but just as the seemingly simple Newton's three laws and the law of universal gravitation construct the entire classical system of mechanics.

The knowledge hidden behind the books is the true essence of magic.

And these are difficult for Carl to comprehend on his own.

He desperately needed a teacher, one who could take him deeper into the realm of magic.

It's a pity that Dumbledore isn't at school, Carl thought, but even if he did, with his temperament, he would never teach Carl what he wanted.

The old man would rather bring all the secrets into the coffin alone and wait for others to dig them up after his death, rather than tell everything while he was alive.

Not to mention, from beginning to end, he was not seen teaching Harry Potter any magic at all.

Dumbledore's stinginess in knowledge can be imagined.

Secrecy has almost become his instinct.

But maybe there's someone who can!!

This year, there is a man at Hogwarts, one of the top beings in the wizarding world, who even surpasses Dumbledore in terms of dark arts attainments.

A ready-made teacher!

However, after only a moment of excitement, Carl immediately calmed down.

This man, Carl didn't want to meet him anyway.

He's just a—

"It's you, I know you, you're Carl Cooper!" a girl's voice interrupted Carl's train of thought.

Damn! Karl was very upset to be interrupted from his train of thought.

When I looked up, I saw a girl.

The girl has rabbit teeth, thick brown hair, thick untrimmed eyebrows, and a copy of Hogwarts, a school history.

The girl can't be said to be ugly, but at first glance, she is the kind of sloppy and sloppy school bully girl, who can only vaguely see the shadow in the movie from her appearance.

Not yet good-looking, Carl pursed his lips and muttered to himself.

The girl didn't notice the change in Carl's heart, and said to herself: "My name is Hermione Granger, Percy told me about you, he said that you are very talented in Transfiguration, I am very interested in Transfiguration, I think we can talk about it in the future!"

"Well, yes. Carl replied listlessly.

It didn't take long for him to start wandering the world.

- Unfortunately, that man is a madman at all.

He's definitely not the kind of being who will look at himself differently because of his relationship with him.

This man is cold-blooded, ruthless, and will do whatever it takes to achieve his ends.

Following him is like carrying a time bomb with you, and you may be able to give away your life at any time.

He, Carl, even if he turns the Hogwarts library upside down, even if he can't learn more advanced magic, he will never go to him!

That's right!

Carl subconsciously slammed the table with a loud "bang", and the sound made him come back to his senses instantly.

He looked up, only to see Hermione's departing back, and it looked like the girl was quite angry.

Carl blinked, not knowing what was happening.

Hermione left the library in a huff, she had never seen such a rude person, she was talking the whole time by herself, Carl didn't even react, and finally interrupted her by slamming the table.

She decided never to talk to him again, never!

Over the next few days, Carl often ran into Hermione in the library.

No way, both of them are regular visitors to the library, and they see each other almost several times a day.

But every time, Hermione didn't seem to see Carl, and even when the two met head-on, she only treated Carl as air.

Carl was happy too.

He and Hermione knew each other, and it would be a real hassle to see each other so often that they had to say hello every time they met.

......

Time passed day by day, and now, more than a week after the start of school, Dumbledore still hasn't returned.

At the same time, after more than a week, Carl felt more and more clearly that the books in the Hogwarts library were no longer able to get him what he wanted.

The knowledge hidden behind books is no longer something that can be learned just by reading books.

Learning magic is addictive, and Carl's "addiction", although different from the well-known one, also makes him.

Perhaps, he could really talk to that person?

It only took a second for Carl to mentally dismiss the idea.

That's death.

It's just that Carl couldn't have imagined that person would take the initiative to find him.
