Cangjie said: "Patriarch, I really haven't studied this word, let me think about it first, and I'll tell you after I think about it." ”

The Yellow Emperor said again: "Cangjie, have you ever thought about it? For people, just food can fill the stomach and clothes can cover the body, which is only the minimum requirement of being a human being. But our goal is to make it possible for the whole world not only to be fed, but also to be able to eat well. Not only can you dress warmly, but you should also dress modestly.

Cangjie, if you feel that this is enough, it means that you are only focusing on making words, and you have not taken care of other things. As the Yellow Emperor, I am the leader of a clan, and I always feel that the things of our nation are not perfect in any way, and what we have done is very insufficient. ”

Cangjie asked, "Yellow Emperor, then, what makes you feel enough?" ”

The Yellow Emperor replied, "What makes me feel enough? Cangjie, as soon as you say this, I'll be enough. Often, ministers don't get to the point when they are on the agenda, and they are always verbose. As soon as I hear that no matter who says another superfluous word, my heart is enough, and if they say too much, I will be enough. ”

As soon as the Yellow Emperor said this, Cangjie's brain spun rapidly, and his heart immediately opened. He thought in his heart: a "sentence" word, a "many" word. Thinking about it, Cangjie quickly squatted down and drew two different words on the ground with his fingers.

These two words are: one is the word "enough" with "more" on the left and "sentence" on the right; One is the word "enough" with "sentence" on the left and "more" on the right, but which of these two words is more suitable, Cangjie couldn't make up his mind for a while.

The Yellow Emperor looked at these two words, he thought about them again, and said: "Cangjie, I see that these two words are also being spoken, let's let them both exist at the same time." If people can talk less nonsense and do more things after reading these two words of 'enough', it will be very worthwhile. ”

One day, Cangjie went to the people to teach people how to read words, and he first taught everyone: cow, horse, donkey, mule and other words about domestic livestock. Among them, there was a white-haired old man who noticed the problem and questioned it.

The old man asked: "Cangjie, I don't understand, the word 'horse', 'donkey', and 'mule' you made have four legs, and the word 'ox' also has four legs, where did its four legs go?" Why is there only one tail left? ”

When Cangjie heard this, he was a little panicked, and he said very embarrassedly: "Uncle, I made a mistake myself." When I was making the words that day, I saw a fish and a cow by the river at the same time, and I began to wonder how to make these two words, and I made both words at the same time.

Later, when I was teaching people to read and write, I actually confused the characters, and wrote the word 'fish' as 'cow' and the word 'cow' as 'fish'. In fact, I blame all this, blaming me for being careless for a while, and I actually turned everyone upside down. ”

I saw that the young man said embarrassedly: "Cangjie, please forgive me for daring to give you a suggestion, right?" I have some thoughts about what you said. ”

"Speak, young man, I'm listening."

The young man clenched his fists, and then said, "Cangjie, I don't think so about what you said. Because all three women were women, they must have been very close when they got together. Naturally, they are so good that they hug together and say nothing, which is called real 'good', not 'rape'.

On the contrary, if a son and a daughter get together, a bad situation will occur. They will inevitably look at each other, pull and pull each other, and often something bad will happen. In this way, where can it be called 'good'? Therefore, the word for the combination of children should be called the word 'adulterous', not the word 'good'. ”

Hearing this, Cangjie was also taken aback. He took a closer look at the word "good" and the word "rape", and felt that the young man also had some truth in what he said. But when he looked at these words again, he felt that he understood them correctly.

Cangjie said: "If someone walks forward from this mountain and goes to another mountain, this is called: there is a mountain outside the mountain. This word that represents that there is a mountain outside the mountain means that we left the house and walked out, so we should call it the word 'out'.

This other word is like this, if someone is going to travel thousands of miles, even if he has a chicken feather in his hand, he will feel more and more tired when he walks, and he will also feel that the weight of the chicken feather will become heavier and heavier. Therefore, the weight of a thousand miles is called 'heavy'. ”

The middle-aged man looked at Cangjie and said with a grin: "Cangjie, the mountain people are offended, don't be surprised!" Cangjie, we also admit that you are knowledgeable, but in the interpretation of these two words, you are very wrong. ”

"Cangjie, I'm not afraid of your jokes. In the fool's opinion, your interpretation of these two words should be full of loopholes. Do you think, if two mountains are pressed together, even the earth can be crushed, so how can it be called 'out'? It should be called 'heavy'.

If it is a thousand miles away, it is naturally far away from home. The word 'thousands of miles' overlaps together, and it should also be called 'out', right? Why do you call it the word 'heavy'? Isn't that wrong? ”

"Oops! Dude, you're going to get to the bottom of it, you're right. At that time, I also called the overlapping of two mountains the word 'heavy', and the word 'out' when I traveled thousands of miles. It's just that I made up too many words later, so I confused them for a while. Later, when I saw that I couldn't correct it, I had no choice but to make mistakes and continue to teach them according to this kind of mistake until now. ”

Cangjie followed the man's gaze and saw a flock of hares in front of him, scurrying around in the grass. When the man saw that the rabbit would not stand still, he had to take a long stand and draw his bow without letting go of the arrows, waiting for the rabbit to settle down.

Cangjie watched as the man squatted forward on one leg, bent sideways, aiming at his prey. He suddenly had an idea, and from the man's sideways archery posture, he created the word "short" and the word "shooting".

One day, someone asked Cangjie what the words "dwarf" and "shooting" were used to describe them.

Cangjie said to the man: "The word 'arrow' is an arrow, and the word 'commission' is a person's posture of pulling the bow sideways. When a person draws a bow and shoots an arrow, he squats down, forming the word 'short'.

The shorter a man squats, the more powerful the arrows he unleashes. Therefore, the combination of the word 'inch' and the word 'body' becomes a 'shot' word. ”

The man was puzzled and said, "Cangjie, no, can you tell us again." ”

Cangjie then took the trouble to speak again.

Who knew that the man said: "Cangjie, did you get these two words reversed?" You see, if this man is only an inch tall, how can he shoot an arrow if he is so short? In my opinion, the word "inch" is a "short" word together. And the sideways bow and arrow should be the word 'shooting', according to your explanation, the word 'short' and the word 'shooting' don't make sense. ”

Cangjie listened to this man's explanation and felt that what he said was very reasonable. And so, I was ashamed. He pondered the reason for the mistake, and it took him a long time to wake up.
