The origin of the frustration
Wofrustrated
The Wofu were a tribe of the northern part of the Korean Peninsula from the 2nd century BC to the 5th century AD. It is mainly divided into East Wo Fu and North Wo Fu.
Eastern Wofu is roughly located in Hamgyong Province in present-day North Korea, and Northern Wofu is roughly located in the Tumen River Valley.
East Wofu is often referred to simply as Wofu. Wofu South is adjacent to Donghao.
In the early years of its formation, it was never able to form an independent state due to its jurisdiction oscillating between the four counties of Han and Goguryeo.
In the 1st and 2nd centuries AD, Wofu became a vassal of Goguryeo.
In 244, when Cao Wei attacked Goguryeo, the king of Goguryeo's Dongchuan temporarily retreated to Northern Wofu.
In 285, the Crown Prince of Buyeo also fled to Wofu when he was attacked by northern nomads.
In the early 5th century, King Haotai of Goguryeo completely incorporated Wofu into the territory of Goguryeo.
