The Word is the origin of all things.

What is Tao?

To put it simply, everything is the Tao. Everything we see is the Tao. And also! Everything we can't see, they're also the Way. For example! We people! We are also Taoists. We humans come from the Tao and then return to the Tao. We human beings, like all other things, have undergone countless changes to form human beings.

Why do we say that we are also the Word? Because! We are human now, and when we die, we are no longer human. Our corpses are decomposing, and we don't know what has become of them. So! We are also Taoists. After our corpses decomposed, we don't know what they had become, they had become mud, they had become fertilizer, they had become rations for bugs, they had become barbaric food. And finally? From mud to other things, from fertilizer to some kind of plant, and from one plant to other things, and then from plants to other things. We are forever changing. At last! Maybe after countless and countless years of change, we don't know what has become, maybe? Turned back into a human ......

So! We are the Way. This is how the Tao has changed and changed, from the beginning of a certain thing, through countless times and countless years of evolution, and finally into the universe starry sky, the sun, the moon, the earth, and all things on the earth, including our human beings.

This is the Word! As a Taoist disciple, you must understand what the Tao is! Only by understanding what the Tao is, understanding the sun, moon, sky, earth, the source of all things on the earth, and the source of human beings, can we have a goal in life and live for what we live for.

As Taoist disciples, we must understand that human beings, like everything on earth, are derived from the Tao. Including the sun, moon and starry sky, the same comes from the Tao. Other words! Like the sun, moon, starry sky, earth, and all things on the earth, I am a timely existence, not a permanent existence!

Other words! We human beings are not immortal, and human beings, like other species on the earth, are a species born at the right time. When the environment of the earth is suitable for us human beings, we humans exist. When the environment on the earth is not suitable for us human beings, we human beings, like other species, will disappear......

So! Understanding what the Tao is very important for Taoist disciples! If you can't understand what the Tao is, you can't live the right life......"

If a person does not have a correct outlook on life, the world, and the universe, he cannot have a correct and healthy moral outlook. If the three views are not correct, the society will be chaotic!

Taoists believe that human beings, the earth, the starry sky of the universe, the sun and the moon, etc., all come from the Tao and from the original existence of a certain substance. Then that initial substance evolved countless times, and finally became the cosmic starry sky, the sun and the moon, and the earth, and all things on the earth, including human beings.

That's how humans came to be!

The Taoist concept is materialistic, not idealistic.

Taoists believe that human beings were not created by God, but evolved from the original substance through countless times and countless ages.

Taoists believe that human beings, like other species on earth, are a species born at the right time. When the environment on Earth is suitable for human life, human beings can survive. When the earth is no longer suitable for human life, human beings, like other species, will disappear.

Taoism determines the fate of mankind and sees through the fate of mankind. The belief that human beings are not omnipotent, unable to transcend their own limitations. The end of mankind is only a matter of time. But! That was at some point. So! As us, we must cherish life, cherish this opportunity to be born as a human being, and live well.
