Chapter 781: Four Grades (II)

The Buddha talked all the way about the materialistic earth, water, fire, and wind, and that all matter is dependent and void. From the four major earth, water, fire, and wind, to the five major earth, water, fire, wind, and air, to the six major earth, water, fire, wind, and emptiness, and finally to "non-cause, non-naturalness", this is the highest theoretical physics of matter. On this point, once when I was meditating on the seventh day, there were a few old counselors who were still talking about it, thinking that I was wrong. I didn't say what I said, it's written in the Buddhist scriptures, so ask the Buddha!

The Buddha said that non-cause, non-naturalness, refers to the ontology, which is the realm of the Dharmakaya. The emptiness of sexual emptiness is not the emptiness of karma, nor is it the emptiness of nature, and the emptiness of nature becomes the outer path of nature. Therefore, in terms of ontology, it is non-causal and non-natural; Speaking of use, all the dharmas in the world are born of causes, not naturally, and they have no master, because they arise from the void of nature. Therefore, when we talk about the principle of dependent arising, we have not yet talked about cultivation, but we must be able to go deep into dependent arising, so that we can break off all evil views. In other words, if you don't realize the state of dependent voidness, even if you study Buddhism, many of your perceptions will still be wrong because you don't have enlightenment.

Since Pangu opened the world, many Zen patriarchs have realized the Tao from the origin, not from the reason. There are those who throw a stone and become enlightened, and there are those who see a flower and become enlightened, that is, they are enlightened by the origin. Such as Xiangyan Zen Master, because of the bamboo enlightenment. There are many examples of this, not all of them. Weishan Patriarch said: "Enlightenment from the fate, never retreat", enlightenment from the cause will not retreat, just from the concentration of the participation is not right. This is a kind of statement, but I oppose this statement, those who enter from the fate are easy to retreat, and occasionally the blind cat touches the dead mouse and the body and mind are empty, and enter emptiness, although it is fixed in emptiness, if the body, karma, and habits have not yet turned, they still have to retreat. Therefore, the eighty monks of Zhaozhou still practice the knowledge of the world, because their hearts are unstable. If there is no empirical evidence of the Mahayana dependent arising voidness and the dependent arising of sexual emptiness, even though theoretically it is said that dependent arising voidness, sexual voidness dependent arising, and Madhyamaka correct view, that is only verbal Dharma, or even an evil view. That's why the scriptures say that all bodhisattvas should "go deep into dependent arising, and cut off all wrong views."

What is heresy? There are no two sides. Yes means that there is Dharma to be visible, and non-existence is emptiness. All religions, philosophies, and even the opinions of those who study Buddhism in the world are either empty or existent. Ordinary people study Buddhism, meditate, and practice the Dharma, all with the heart of gain, seeking the method of not gaining, and going against the grain, they all fall in! There is "See." On the contrary, people who fall into "emptiness" see nothing, "empty", and as a result, they do not learn anything well, and become lazy and idiots. When you meditate, you should ask yourself, which side is on which side? You must know that not only do we ordinary people fall on the two sides of emptiness, but also bodhisattvas who have not reached more than the eight lands also fall on two sides, so they are only bodhisattvas, not Buddhas.

Yu Xi is also called Ji Xi, and later in the "Vima Sutra", it is said that the Vima monks say that the heavenly maiden scatters flowers, and the flowers stick when they fall on the great arhats, and not a single flower on the great bodhisattva is sticky. What is the truth? Although these great arhats have achieved great things, they have not broken their habits, so they are smallpox. Although they are empty and do not move their thoughts, the shadow of love for flowers and beauty in Alayya's knowledge is still there, and the habit is not broken.

"The acting is fearless, and the master roars. His words are like thunder." Here it is a teacher and not a lion, it is a master, it is the meaning of Buddha. The great bodhisattvas are fearless in saying the Dharma, as if the Buddha is saying the Dharma, and its voice is like thunder, and the demons are splitting their brains. According to the Buddhist scriptures, all the Buddhas of the Ten Directions and the Three Worlds, all the great bodhisattvas, are speaking the Dharma at six o'clock day and night, but why can't we hear it? It can be described in a sentence from "Lao Tzu": "Da Yin Xi Sheng". At this point, some people work so hard that when they meditate or sleep, they hear voices, they hear people talking, and sometimes these voices answer questions you have. Attention, everyone! Don't look at it, many people enter the magic realm as soon as they look at it. There are also people who cling to the sound of the incantation, which is also wrong.

Attachment to these sound spells leads to the path of the devil: what about detachment? and falling into the wrong view, it is to cut off the emptiness. You said that it is easy to make a decision when you recite these mantras, but in fact, it is your own relationship, and it has nothing to do with the mantras, and you don't understand the meaning of the mantra when you recite it, but you believe it. If you are taught to recite a mantra that you understand, there is no Amitabha Buddha, and you don't need it. The Buddha said that all sounds are dharanis, mantras. But all sounds are impermanent, and if you cling to the mantra or the sound of chanting the Buddha's name, thinking that you can cultivate the Dharma and become enlightened, you will not achieve anything after all. Because all sounds are impermanent, ignore the sounds you hear in your concentration or sleep. But ignoring it is only on the right side, and ignoring it will be in vain. Persistently reasoning or ignoring it will fall into two wrong views. The "Lengyan Sutra" tells people to pay special attention to their practice: "Do not be a sacred heart, the realm of fame and goodness", and do not think that these auspicious and inductive things are good things, and they will progress, so if you listen to them, you will not listen. "If you do holy interpretation, you will receive evil." Be careful!

Why is it easy for people to hear sounds when they work hard? Because the visual and auditory nerves of the human being are connected in the back of the brain, young people's eyes are not good, and there are many myopia, and when the work is slightly improved, the brain nerves change and the voice comes. That's all for this question, otherwise it's too far off topic.

As we mentioned above, there are many sounds in space that are so loud that people can't hear them, because they are so loud that we can't hear them. Some insects make sounds like ants, and the frequency is so high that human ears can't hear them, but those who settle down hear them like thunder. A person who has the concentration to practice hears all the sounds, understands that all the sounds are dharani, and knows what the different mantras are of special use.

"There is no measure, there is excess", this is the next way to say how loud the Bodhisattva's Dharma is. The usage I'm talking about here is very special, you may think why not just say "immeasurable"? This is what Zhuangzi described as "big without outside, small with no inside". Is the Void big? When it comes to emptiness, there is already a margin in concept, and since there is a marginal thing, it is not big; It's so big that it's not outside, it's big when there's no margin, what is that big? The largest is the smallest. What does it mean to be small? It is as small as a molecule, an atom, and in the end it is empty, so it is small and has no inside. Small to the extreme is big, and big to the extreme is small. This is the principle of logic, that is, the truth of the Dharma. Those who have witnessed Dinghui Kung Fu can understand the truth of "there is no measure, it is excessive".
