Chapter 952 - Phases (3)

Why can't I even reach the first meditation level when I meditate? It is because the temperament of the flesh has not been transformed. This sentence of Vimala layman tells you the secret: pure life and meditation. Wisdom comes from meditation, but in order to obtain wisdom, it is necessary to hear, see, and remember more, so it is said that "hearing more increases wisdom, and thinking that it is the sound of self-realization."

Self-realization is to see the nature of the mind and to preach. You have to be aware of him before you can realize it. If you really talk about cultivation, don't despise all the knowledge in the world and out of the world, because this belongs to the wisdom of hearing more, which is the sound of cultivating your enlightenment.

"The food of the nectar method, the taste of liberation is pulp, the purification of the heart is bathing, and the precepts are incense." From concentration to wisdom, you can naturally get rootless water like nectar, which describes a slightly sweet, but not too sweet taste.

Those who have attained meditation say that they have received the nectar empowerment of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, or they can say that they have given empowerment to themselves, and their saliva is sweet.

At this point, I don't care much about the general diet, because I am naturally liberated from the nectar method, and I have less troubles.

Even if you deliberately think about the most painful things in your heart, you don't have to worry about it. But although I am free from my troubles, it is still too early to be free from life and death. Even if someone can tell everyone that they are leaving, they are really leaving, and he is not yet liberated, life and death. It's just that the concentration is enough, and it can liberate the segmented life and death, but it has not yet been able to liberate the life and death.

There are three indispensable things for studying Buddhism: liberation, prajna, and dharmakaya. It is necessary to attain the attainment of prajna to attain true liberation, and only when liberation is consummated can one attain the purity of the Dharmakaya. In other words, there is no liberation, if there is no perfection, the Dharmakaya will not be pure. And if you don't see the shadow of the emptiness of the Dharmakaya, you won't get Prajna, and you won't be liberated.

It is said here that there is the nectar of meditation and wisdom to nourish one's life with the serum of liberation. At this time, there is naturally no trouble, and naturally thoughts are in the Pure Land, purifying the mind and refining oneself, and using the precepts as incense to wipe on the body.

I often joke that to be a bodhisattva, you must first know how to smoke, otherwise you will be worshiped by others, and your face will be blackened by burning incense, and you will be able to stand it if you don't smoke. In particular, the Central Plains especially likes to burn incense for the Buddha, there is a rural saying, "Burn incense without knocking the chime, the Bodhisattva does not believe; Burning incense without firing guns, the Bodhisattva doesn't know", talking about the Bodhisattva as very snobbish, this is all folk superstition.

There are many kinds of incense mentioned in the Buddhist scriptures, such as burning incense, applying incense, ending incense, incense, incense, and so on. In our meditation hall, we rarely burn incense, and we use a kind of sandalwood instead. Burning incense will pollute the air, and if you burn too much, your neighbors will come forward to sue you, in fact, it is best to really make offerings to the Buddha and Bodhisattva, and use incense to make incense. For those who have attained the precepts, the precepts are naturally pure, and this has already offered incense, which is the incense of the heart. The so-called heart incense, when you stand in front of the Buddha, worship with both hands together, and have a pure thought in your heart, it is a prayer and a real incense offering. If you go down the prayer and you still have a little trouble in your heart, it's an unclean prayer.

True prayer, with nothing to ask for or think in your heart, no self and no prayer, is to make an offering of incense. So why do you have to offer incense to the Buddha with three branches? The three branches represent the incense, the incense, and the huixiang.

I just talked about the fragrance of the heart, how to achieve it? It must be revised. Therefore, the precept is set in the middle. It's really decided, don't talk about the precepts. If you have a decision, you will not be scattered or drowsy, and you will have no precepts to commit, which is the true observance of the precepts, the sexual precepts, and the purity of one's own nature is the precepts.

If there are still troubles and delusions in the heart, even if you keep the vows, you are still keeping the vows that are not clean. Although unclean vows are also meritorious, they are painful to keep because they are suppressed. This merit is not the merit of Taoist thoughts, people who have Taoist thoughts are not moved by the sound of dogs and horses, money and wealth, and if they see it, they don't see it, and they don't need to suppress their thoughts, and they look at gold and shit.
