Chapter 446: Energy Storage (2)
Although such a pressure vessel can also store a large amount of energy, the technicians of Huaxia Kingdom do not have all kinds of constraints in the real world, and they are not satisfied with such energy storage density.
As a result, at the suggestion of some personnel, some gas storage bins do not store ordinary gas, but biogas.
The large amount of waste heat generated when the straw is used to generate electricity can be used to increase the temperature of the digester, thereby speeding up its gas production.
After optimally cultivating anaerobic flora that decomposes different biomass, grass, leaves, straw and various manure can be treated using different biogas digesters to improve their treatment efficiency.
Although the anaerobic flora living in these digesters is not the same, the final product composition is biogas.
As a result, the exhaust pipes of all digesters are grouped into a set of biogas soft airbags for temporary storage as a compressed storage process.
The use of large gas storage containers to store ordinary air and combustible gas is not the same, because ordinary air does not undergo chemical changes, and its compression process is completely physical.
On the other hand, when a combustible gas such as biogas enters the gas storage container directly, as its concentration and temperature increase, it may explode once it reaches the explosion limit.
And this explosion, which occurs inside a closed container, is equivalent to turning the entire closed container into a bomb.
Just think about what it would be like for this container that stored hundreds of thousands of square meters of combustible gas to explode.
Although it was buried beneath the ground, and the surrounding earth and rocks could absorb some of the impact, its weakest top was absolutely unable to compete with the force of this rage.
When the time comes, this huge "cupola cannon" will be enough to send dozens of tons of earth and rocks in all directions, and the surrounding area may be threatened by these flying stones within a radius of several kilometers.
Therefore, when storing combustible gas, it is necessary to remove the air in the container, most importantly, the oxygen in the air.
There are several ways to drain oxygen from a closed container, including nitrogen, carbon dioxide or inert gas, but the easiest way is to fill it with water.
This can be done by filling an airtight container with water and then pressing the water out through a pipe connected to the bottom of the container when injecting compressed combustible gas.
Water can also be pumped through this pipe to create a negative pressure to suck the biogas from the biogas bladder into the vessel.
Of course, it is also possible to work in tandem to pump water while pressurizing to form a resultant force to increase the speed of gas storage.
When the surplus electricity generated by the biomass power station using a large amount of straw generated in the agricultural production process as fuel, the surplus electricity is used to drive the compressor, and the biogas and air are sent into their own high-pressure vessels for storage.
At the peak of power consumption, the high-pressure biogas and air in the high-pressure vessel are used to directly burn to generate high-pressure airflow, which pushes the turbine generator set to generate electricity, which is used to make up for the lack of power in the power station.
High-pressure gases absorb a lot of heat when they are depressurized, so the pressure reducing components are placed near the turbine generator to cool the generator and runner and increase their output power.
The unstable power resources generated by wind, solar, hydro, biogas power generation and explosive generators in the past are no longer suitable for the electricity needs of large cities, so they are also stored in this way, and then exported through large generator sets when needed.
The power output of large generator sets and internal combustion generator sets is more stable and easier to control, which is conducive to ensuring the stability of the power supply voltage of the entire power grid.
With a large number of electrical facilities and equipment, the power station became the heart of the city, and its importance cannot be overstated.
Although Huaxia's data center computer room has a special UPS and standby generator set for power supply, other power consumption cannot be guaranteed in this way.
In other words, if there is a sudden large-scale power outage in the city, the entire Huaxia City will be plunged into darkness.
In such a situation, without a strong response, it is easy for riots to break out and be taken advantage of by hostile forces.
Therefore, in addition to the high fence around the power station and energy storage base, a high-voltage power grid has been installed, and it is strictly forbidden for unrelated people to approach it.
In order to make it easier to dispose of the aquaculture waste, the circular plantations near the boundary of the water network have been converted into farms.
Chickens, ducks, geese, pigs, cattle, sheep and other livestock and poultry that can be raised on a large scale are concentrated in these farms.
The surrounding water net can not only prevent these animals and poultry from running around, but also effectively prevent small troublemakers.
Without a water platform as a means of transportation, in this almost closed water, those water thieves and robbers outside Huaxia had no way to steal these livestock and poultry out of Huaxia Kingdom.
The straw generated during the planting process in the entire Yunmengze area will eventually be transported to the nearest power station to generate electricity through various means of transportation, or after fermentation, it will be used as feed for livestock and poultry in the farm.
The costs incurred in transporting this straw are carried out entirely by market-based means.
After the purchase price of the straw that can be used in the farm is determined, someone will naturally use the free time to collect it and send it to the designated purchase location.
Similarly, straw that cannot be used by the farm can be sent to the biomass power station for processing.
Although the purchase price of these straws is not high, as long as there is a market and it is profitable, a complete industrial chain will soon be formed.
Those early members of Huaxia who already owned some personal assets became the first dealers in the straw buying industry chain after buying second-hand cars.
The purchase price of straw in the farm is 8 yuan and 100 catties, and people who are close to the farm can be directly sent to the farm.
But those areas of more than 10 kilometers are not jobs that can be done by human beings.
Therefore, these straw buyers who drive second-hand cars go farther away to buy straw at a price lower than the purchase price of the farm, and then resell it to the farm to make the difference.
Those members who lack personal assets have also bought relatively cheap electric cargo tricycles, forming a second trader in the chain.
At about half the public purchase price of the farm, the straw is collected at the corner of the field and then resold to the members who drive the car.
At the end of the industrial chain are those ordinary people, who are almost the whole family, old and young, women and children go around collecting straw and gathering straw together.
Young and strong laborers carried the straw collected by others to the places designated by the superior traffickers on their shoulders or using wheelbarrows, wheelbarrows, and manpower and goods made in Huaxia.
In this way of operation, the straws in the entire Yunmengze area were cleaned up, and no one would think of burning them with a fire.
This is not burning straw, it is Huaxia coins.
