There is a difference between merit and merit, for example, if you practice austerity, this is the merit that comes from hard work.

Practicing the four methods and so on is merit, and the six degrees are also merit.

You have to be diligent in cultivating virtue and wisdom! Many colleagues worked hard and wanted to achieve enlightenment, but they couldn't do it.

Why?

You don't have enough luck!

For example, if a young colleague asks for immediate retreat, and I agree to him, I also scold him at the same time. Retreat requires someone to protect you, and the person who protects the retreat has to greet your life, which can be blessed.

If you worship the Buddha and meditate in it, what can you grind? Can't grind it out! Have you received your blessings? The most important thing in studying Buddhism and practicing is to cultivate merit and help others with practical actions, not just for self-interest.

Letting go of everything is giving up the Dharma, and really letting go of everything is not the Dharma or is it a problem.
