Chapter 954 - Phases (5)
When you worship the Buddha, you can't do the prayerless worship, so when you continue to worship, you have to visualize in your heart that there is a person in front of the Ten Directions and the Third World, and there are countless Buddhas who are worshipping and making offerings. Therefore, it is said that "offering in the ten directions, immeasurable billions of dollars." Especially if you don't succeed in learning Tantra, don't brag about learning Tantra, it's better to buy a bottle of honey and drink it!
Worship the Buddha in this way, worship later, there is no difference between the three beings of the heart Buddha, I worship the ten directions and the three worlds, and everything is also worshipping my Buddha on the ground with his palms. Although we are not Buddhas yet, we all have the cause to become Buddhas, and who says we can't become Buddhas! If you don't even have the courage to do so, then you don't need to study Buddhism. Therefore, it is said, "There is no distinction between the Buddhas and their own bodies."
According to the Prayers, we make offerings to the Buddhas of the Ten Directions, that is, to provide for ourselves. The truth is that there is no difference between the three beings of the mind, Buddha, and sentient beings.
"Although I know the kingdom of the Buddhas, and the emptiness of all sentient beings, I always cultivate the Pure Land and educate all beings." Mahayana Buddhism advocates that there is no difference between the mind and all beings, and that the body is empty. Although it is originally empty, when it starts, it is a cultivation being, that is, emptiness is existence, that is, existence is emptiness, and it is understood that existence is illusory and unreal.
If you cultivate the Pure Land and have the appearance of the Pure Land, then it is not the end, because the Buddha Land is also empty. Because sentient beings have not attained self-voidness, they use the Dharma of "being" to educate sentient beings. This is the highest state of Mahayana Buddhism mentioned in the Vimala Sutra, which does not distinguish between birth and entry.
"All sentient beings, form, sound and majesty, fearless bodhisattvas, can be fully manifested at one time." This verse is very important to our insight. The attainment of spiritual practice is the attainment of the state of emptiness and vacuum. In terms of the principle of consciousness, it is to realize the dependent arising voidness, and the dependent voidness of sexual emptiness.
All sentient beings have different bodies, voices, and postures (walking, dwelling, sitting, and lying are the four great powers), and their phenomena are very different. But the essence of the nature of all living beings is one, and there is no difference. This "everything" is also a pseudonym, because it is impossible not to say it in words, but not to think that there is something concrete. For example, the same electric current,
Despite the myriad differences of all beings, the Bodhisattva of Fearless Power can make them fully manifest in a moment. This bodhisattva is so powerful, but we haven't seen his statue, right? It is important to understand that the name of the Bodhisattva in the Buddhist scriptures represents his function, and those who study Mahayana Buddhism should not attach importance to the name of the Buddha and Bodhisattva. For example, in the past, some people had the words earth, water, fire, etc. in their names, probably because they wanted to make up for the lack of the five elements. Nowadays, relatively few people do this, but what kind of name is popular? There are also people who believe in feng shui very much, like I don't come to this set, and I just look for a so-called bad place to live. The truth is that in virtue is not in life, in the heart is not in action. So these numbers and so on, you say it seems to be related, is it really related? Not necessarily. If you understand the truth, you will be at ease.
Speaking of the name of the Bodhisattva, who is the Bodhisattva of Fearlessness? I think it's you, and you don't seem to be afraid of anything when you break the vows.
If someone asks you to help you come up with some money, you have to calculate it carefully, and you are afraid that you will not have enough, and then you will become afraid. If you are afraid, you have concerns, you have considerations, and you have plans, this is an ordinary man.
True cultivation to fearlessness is great liberation. Therefore, the Bodhisattva of Fearlessness is equivalent to emptiness, and in the nature of emptiness, hundreds of millions of beings can appear at the same time.
Understand this truth, you learn meditation, think of supernatural powers, don't ask me, I won't tell you, I don't have supernatural powers.
Through the fixed hair, first seek the determination. Which one must have made a chase? When you see the vacuum of self-nature, you can see the nature of your heart, and you will naturally be through.
