Chapter 955 - Phases (6)
Although we have not yet reached this realm, we can naturally reach it by following the teachings of the Buddha, believing in and practicing it, and making a vow according to it.
Bodhisattvas who practice the Mahayana path are not afraid of demons, nor are they afraid of evil, because they are proficient in the outer ways of evil demons. If you only understand Buddha things and not demons, you are not called a Buddha. If you only know that you have good thoughts, you don't know that you have evil thoughts, and you are not called a Buddha. It's like someone who only sees things during the day and can't see things at night, that's not a healthy person.
Accomplished people are always in the light, and no matter what evil spirits are in the way, when the light shines, all of them become Buddha's paths. Therefore, it is said: "Righteous people use evil laws, and evil laws are also good." Evil people use the Fa-rectification, and the Fa-rectification is also evil." Another example is a knife, which doctors use to operate on people and can also be used to injure people. There is no difference between good and evil in the knife itself, and the motive of the difference is used.
All Buddhas and Bodhisattvas must save all sentient beings, both good and evil. Because if you want to save the wicked, you will even show your demons, and this is the Four Ways of Shooting, which in modern parlance is the method and means of education. To take is to receive, that is, to be inclusive. Again, the four cameras are generosity, love language, benefit, and colleagues. When it comes to love language, the extracurricular book I read when I was a child, "Zengguang Xianwen of the Past Times", you should read it, and there is a sentence: "When you meet people and say three points, you can't throw away all your hearts." This sentence can be interpreted in two ways, one is: you always have to say hello when you meet someone, don't ignore it, this is a manifestation of love language. Another explanation is that I only learned after I had rich experience in life, and I would like to thank the gentlemen at that time for not being willing to talk about it.
As a joke, these two sentences are good for intelligence workers. When it comes to good deeds, we mean doing whatever is beneficial to others. A colleague is what others like to do, so they do it together, and in this way lead others on the right path.
It is common for people to force others to do things, such as finding someone to go to the temple to burn incense and worship the Buddha. If I were young, I was afraid that I would have beaten you, how can I say that? Hurting one's own morality, and it's hard to say whether it's karma. You shouldn't do this when you do the bodhisattva path, for example, if you ask someone to listen to the Vimala Sutra, and they want to play mahjong. Good! I'll sacrifice myself to play cards with you, but you're going to go with me next week to listen to the scriptures. It's really hard to do these four methods, and I can't do it, so I'm not qualified to be a Buddhist. Sometimes I am really tired and need to rest, but someone wants to talk, and if I say I'm sorry I don't have time, then I've broken the vows. To be able to endure fatigue, sit down with him and talk, even if he is not really in need and full of empty words, but also listen patiently, this is a bodhisattva. It's really hard, although I can't do it, but I yearn for it.
These four methods are a kind of inducement education, like coaxing sentient beings. Therefore, if you understand this truth, you will understand that the real cultivation is not in the temples in the mountains and forests, but in the demon realm.
Sometimes things in the world are really inescapable. Fame and fortune are the realm of demons, what is demons? There is no such thing as a three-headed and six-armed demon, and if there is, I would still think it is quite strange, not terrible at all. Anything that intoxicates you, fascinates you, is a demon. For example, I love to read, and even if I sit in the book city, I will worry that there are no new books to read.
