But after seeing this Wang Xuance cleared his throat, he said to Master Xuanzang seriously: "The queen mother has been pregnant for more than ten years, according to the diagnosis and treatment of the imperial doctor, it should be more than ten days ago, should give birth to the emperor's heir, but these ten days have passed, and there is still no movement, although there are signs of childbirth in the past two days, but after all, she has not been born." Therefore, in order to bless the safety of their mother and son, and to pray for the safe birth of this child, the mother also wanted to ask the master to lead the great monks and monks to pray for the queen mother. ”

"Is this what Your Majesty means, or is it the meaning of the Queen Mother?"

"This is not only the meaning of His Majesty, but also the meaning of Niangniang. His Majesty's original intention was to come in person, but unfortunately because of the mother's affairs, I couldn't leave for a while, so I could only pass me into the palace and tell all this, praying that the Master could sincerely pray for blessings. ”

"Alas" But after seeing this Master Xuanzang sighed, he continued: "Since the old monk sought the Dharma in the Western Regions, the purpose is to carry forward the Dharma, so that the believers can see their minds clearly, not only understand things, but also understand the world, and at the same time, they can also have good thoughts to maintain the light of the righteous path. Although this kind-hearted person will be blessed by the Buddha, he has never heard of it, does not cultivate his mind, and only recites the Buddha, and can still bless peace. ”

"Yes, I have followed the mage for so many years, and although I don't believe in these ghosts and gods, I have long been exposed to it and know the original intention of the mage; So, since I stepped through the door of this meditation hall, I said that this was something that the Master had never done. It's just that His Majesty and Niangniang have sincerely ordered it, and Niangniang also said that if she can give birth to the emperor's heir safely, she will definitely come to this Great Mercy Temple again to pay homage to the Buddha. ”

"That's it, since Your Majesty has such a sincere heart, what else can the old monk do, then according to the meaning of Your Majesty and Niangniang, sincerely chant the scriptures in front of this Buddha, and help them pray for this peace." Master Xuanzang also returned quite helplessly.

After hearing Master Xuanzang's consent, the two of them smiled. I saw this Wang Xuance, with a wave of his big hand, the two little yellow doors had already appeared in this meditation hall with the purple robe and the seven treasure ring knife given by Empress Wu. Immediately afterwards, I heard him sing loudly: "Master Xuanzang takes the order." ”

Seeing that everything was prepared in an orderly manner, Wang Xuance immediately passed down Li Zhi's dictation: "I originally intended to come to the Great Mercy and Grace Temple in person, and tell Master Xuanzang about this blessing, but I couldn't get out for a while, so I specially appointed Wang Xuance to represent me and give these two Buddhist treasures purple robes and seven treasure ring knives to the Master, and I implore the Master to help me and the Queen, and lead the monks of the Great Mercy and Grace Temple to recite the scriptures in front of the Buddha to bless the safety of my Queen and the Emperor's heir, mother and son." ”

Hearing His Majesty's will, Master Xuanzang bowed to Long En, and then respectfully accepted the purple robe and the Seven Treasures Ring Knife. Wang Xuance hurriedly helped Master Xuanzang up with his own hands.

But listening to this Master Xuanzang, he immediately ordered the personal attendant beside him: "Quick, go to the bell tower quickly and ring the big bell." So the attendant, after receiving the decree, hurriedly left the meditation hall and ran towards the bell tower.

Speaking of the bell tower of the Great Temple of Mercy and Grace, since it was built, in addition to the 18 times of the daily morning and evening, 18 times of slow ringing, 18 times of unhurriedness, and so on twice for a total of 108 times, there is no bell for urgent matters to gather, this is the first time that the Temple of Great Mercy and Grace has opened the world.

So, as the bell rang in a hurry, all the monks of the Great Mercy and Grace Temple came to this Daxiong Treasure Hall to assemble. But seeing that this Master Xuanzang was already wearing the purple robe given by the Empress Wu, he placed the Seven Treasures Ring Knife on the incense case. In the face of these shamans, he said, "Since the founding of Buddhism, my Buddha has adhered to the principle of educating people's hearts and making people do good. Today, my mother of the Tang Dynasty, Wu's Mei Niang has been pregnant for more than ten months, but to this day, at this time, she still has not given birth to a dragon heir, in order to ensure the safety of my Tang Dynasty heir, the safety of the mother of the country, and the peace of mind of Your Majesty. Today, I hereby pass down the decree that all the sand gates of my Great Mercy and Grace Temple, from this time on, under the supervision of the Buddha's benevolent purpose, sincerely for His Majesty and the Queen's Mother, recite the "Prano Purva Mita Heart Sutra", "Bodhisattva Good Precept Sutra", "Mahayana Solemn Sutra", "Yogi Land Treatise" four parts, in order that the Buddha can bless my Tang Dynasty. ”

So, he was in the Shamen, heard the decree of Master Xuanzang, and then sat cross-legged on the futon in the proper order. After Master Xuanzang personally picked up the three sticks of incense and saluted the Buddha, under the guidance of Buddhist musical instruments such as the big chime, wooden fish, chime, bell, hafnium, cymbal, bell, fish drum, etc., the proper chanting and blessing ceremony began.

Wang Xuance, watching this scene, then followed the two small yellow doors that came just now, hurriedly returned to the Daxing Palace, and came to the Lizheng Palace. reported all the things that had begun to be chanted to Gaozong Li Zhi and Empress Wu Meiniang.

The two of them were also quite happy after hearing that Master Xuanzang was so efficient and the grand scene. Especially this Wu Mei Niang, when she heard that Master Xuanzang personally wore a purple robe, held a ring knife, and led all the sand doors of the Great Mercy and Grace Temple to sincerely recite this "Pannopo Duomita Heart Sutra" under the Buddha's kind eyes. When everything is carried out in an orderly manner, her mentality naturally relaxes a lot. With the relaxation of his mentality, everything is gradually developing in a good direction......

Things, just so coincidentally, as the sky darkens, Master Xuanzang has led the monks to chant non-stop, with these two hours or so, and at this time Wu Meiniang's mentality has also relaxed for two hours, not only to eat well, but also to rest well...

The story is really so coincidental, the time walked quietly like this, and it came to the third hour of Master Xuanzang leading all the sand gates, and the third hour of chanting was the early morning of the fifth day of the first month of November.

This Wu Mei Niang, suddenly, from her sleep, sweating profusely in pain, and crying loudly......
