Chapter 1031: Why is the Buddha Land Different (2)

Unfortunately, there are many students of Buddhism who echo this teaching. To say that Buddhism is pluralistic or polytheistic is also a misunderstanding. The true Dharma is monism, and it is not metalogical. To say that monism is only a philosophical synonym.

All phenomena in the universe are different, but all functions are one. Now that I've explained this, I'll turn around and talk about the scriptures.

Zen Buddhism talks about enlightenment and enlightenment, have you become a Buddha? It has become, but most of them have become Buddhas of the Dharmakaya, and they see their own nature with a clear mind.

Has the Dharma Body been accomplished? Not yet, because the flesh has not turned. Enlightenment is to turn the physical body born of this parent into the body represented by the Buddha Birujana, which is bright. It is said that there has been no physical attainment for a thousand years. Since the physical body does not rot after death, it cannot be regarded as a physical achievement, but it is still an incidental effect of the Dharmakaya achievement. A practitioner who has attained physical attainment naturally has six paths when he is born, and when he wants to leave, he does not need to burn him, he turns into a ray of light and goes.

To borrow two Taoist sayings, in the end, it is "scattered into qi, gathered and formed", and physical achievements can naturally be reborn.

The physical body of each Buddha is different, Amitabha Buddha, Medicine Buddha, Shakyamuni Buddha, their physical bodies are different, but there are 32 phases and 80 kinds of goodness when becoming a Buddha, and it can be summed up in four words as good and solemn. For practitioners, it is a test, not to mention becoming a Buddha, that is, when they reach the position of Hinayana Arhat, their appearance will change.

Luohan's appearance is also summed up in four words, that is, Qingqi and eccentric.

Qing is not cheesy; Qi is strange, not that the face is like a horse and the eyes are like a monkey, but strange and cute; Ancient is ancient; Strange is weird. Therefore, the achievements of arhats are also reborn, and these are all practical efforts, not just empty theories.

Like us who study Buddhism, after many years of practice, there has been no change in physiology and psychology, and that face is still very long, so that people dare not look at him, let alone get close. That's not right, because even if a practitioner has a little bit of achievement, it will invisibly affect others, making people think that he is cute and amiable, and he will naturally feel a sense of intimacy or solemnity. This is merit, which is accumulated through the achievement of kung fu. Confucian disciples described Confucius as "looking at him as if he were warm", and his appearance was very solemn and a little frightening, but as soon as he approached him, he felt that he was very warm and kind. Therefore, it is said that those who have the Tao must have been transformed in the flesh.

"The Buddhas are all in the body, and they are in the same caste." Prestige is not to be feared, it is prestige, it is the demeanor of life; Caste is personality, a person who has become a Buddha, the alayas have changed, the seeds are compassionate, and the authority of each Buddha is the same.

Precepts, concentration, wisdom, liberation, and liberation awareness are common practice steps in Mahayana, Sutra, and Tantra, which I have covered earlier. Like ordinary people's precepts, concentration, wisdom, liberation, and liberation perceptions, each person has a different level; Some people are very strict with a certain kind of precept, and this is their nature; Someone is not suitable for a certain kind of vow; Everyone's concentration and wisdom are different, but those who have become Buddhas are not different.

Then there are the Buddha's ten powers, the four fearlessness, the eighteen non-common dharmas (these Buddhist terms have been introduced earlier, so I will not go into detail here), the Buddha's great compassion, the Buddha's majesty, lifespan, and the Buddha's teachings, and the eight words "to achieve sentient beings and purify the land of the Buddha" are the purpose of all Buddhas appearing in the world and educating sentient beings. The Buddha was born for sentient beings, and he had to attain a physical body like us, speak our words, and educate us. When a Buddha appears in a world, the purpose is to turn that world into a pure land.
